ok once i get them 10 flying good when do i add more, and how
many do i add to the flyers at a time. i eventually want all 40
flying together. and can i have some pointers on how to dodge
bop........ none are around my house yet but i kno they are
coming according to what ive read in other post. when are they
most active, and do they ever go south for winter

You only flag them to get them up you shouldnt have to keep
flaging them if they are coming right back down try and play
with how much you are feeding them they might need a little more
or less and also remember these birds have been locked up give
them some time to get in shape and dont push them to hard at
first take your time with them
As far as bops good luck around here they getting realy bad

Knock on wood. I have been flying 1 hour before dark and have
not lost a bird to BOP yet this year David

An Hour before dark is Risky !! I was told birds can see Dark an
hour before we can - but that was after I lost a kit of 24 birds
because I put them up an hour and a half before darkness -- only
10 of them came back the next day - 14 and of course 14 of the
better ones " Gone for good " Trammel don't ever try that
........ get yourself a blow horn if you start having hawk or
falcon issues - I personally have a BB Gun and a Loud Voice :)
I'd open up the doors and let them all fly -- Flag them up -
throw footballs at them get them up and make them stay up -- You
start letting them sit around they won't get past it or beyond
it - they'll get lazy -- just use a Nerf football it doesn't
hurt the birds if it does Bonk them plus it bounces around more
-- No need for technical shit = just do it -- That's My
attitude when I'm out there training -- now If they fly for a
little while say 10 minutes or something and want to land - let
them --- then let them rest a minute or 2 and when the kit comes
near - Nerf ball time again and that bird will learn to stay
with the kit - at least mine do --- and they aren't afraid of Me
because I do this either - I can feed them by hand - I'm a bit
odd about it maybe but it works !! :) Mike ( always make sure
they see the flag flying when the Nerf ball is being thrown also
- wave the flag at the same time - eventually thats all I need
to do is Flag them but at 1st the Nerf ball helps get them up
--- or tennis ball something gentle !! ) Oh and I don't wanna
hear no shit about this either - Thanks !! :)

All I know is it works for me. If mine would not home in the
next day they probably needed culling anyway thats just my
opinion .

I Agree !! I feel I lost some good spinners - not good enough
though If they didn't return - but locals also held them or
tried holding them ransom - they must have found someone elses
place to hold up for the night - Got a call saying they'd give
them back if I gave them other birds - I played around and
wasted their time but never gave in .... so Do You blame the
birds for that ? I don't think so - they don't have a choice !!
I still wouldn't fly that close to dark - well i wouldn't
suggest it anyways - but i also believe in training birds
strongly and believe taking risks is part of that - Fly them in
whatever weird weather or situations I possibly can unless its
extreme of course -- Trammel - also No matter what any of us say
or do or tell You I strongly believe you'll do things Your way
and find the best way that works for you anyways -- although
keeping an ear open in case you need to put helpful information
from others to use of course -- Good Luck --- Let em' Rip and

Yep - Have some balls and Open the doors up - Let them rip -- If
they've been with You for a good time frame - have been able to
see their outdoor surroundings - these birds are smarter than
You think - If You take care of them and feed them like You
should be - then they'll come back and won't go far -- get them
up before they never get up - they will become lazy -- Open the
door and let em fly -- do what it takes to keep them in the air
-- if they come down soon let them rest and flag them or toss a
bouncy ball of some sorts up to get them up --- don't fly them
when they've alrerady eaten ' keep it simple and You'll be fine
- gotta learn by doing and doing it on your own sometimes also
--- We aren't there to see whats going on - makes it a tougher
call - But Hell with it - today , Tomorrow - One day You'll have
to put them up so - Why not today --- Just Go out and open the
door -- don't spook them out - let them come out on their own --
and with time they'll all come out --- the ones that come out
1st let sit around until ya get a bunch then flag em up -- Go

ok man im going to. but they are not kitting yet so they will
scatter everywhare..... i cant watch 40 birds all at once but im
goin for it...... if i loose my birds, i will be taking
donations....lol ;) goin out rite now FUCK IT
