Joeb – No need for private messages, let it be
all in the open. I’ve conversed with Bob Berggren more than 20
times since last year. When we talk we stay on the phone for
about an hour. When was the last time you conversed with Bob?
Bob nominated me for the position, you can ask Jay Yandle. His
advice to me was to have a thick skin to people like you. Why
didn’t you run for that office so I won’t run unopposed!! What
have you done to the NBRC Mr.? Speak up and loud so everyone can
hear your mumblings.
Please call Bob Berggren at 360-221-7378 and tell
him that Jay Alnimer said you are drunk and have money missing.

What a frigging Jerk!!

Geesh! You mean to tell me that this is OLD HAT?.....Last year's
political BS? And you are still carrying a grudge? Man you gotta
unload that crap you carry around with you. That stuff will make
you sick or kill ya! If we all carried around a grudge for
everyone who said something negative about NBRC officers (and
other pigeon clubs) we'd all be depressed or have cancer. And if
we all quit for the same reason, we'd have no
club.
Bob Berggren has served the NBRC for many many years and has
done a great service for us. Is he without faults? Of course
not. Could he have done things differently? Sure! Are any of us
perfect? No way! From where I stand, Jay will have some big
shoes to fill and I bet he will try his best to do the job.
It seems to me that Bob should be the one
that should claim damages, if there are any. And if he did...he
would not have nominated Jay.

But before, you take your departure, check with Bob and see if
he is also leaving the NBRC due to claims of a political nature.
Sometimes things are said publicly, that should not have been.
(I know I have been guilty of that a time or two, myself. Maybe
you have too...) Do I think the NBRC books need to be audited
periodically? Yes. It's good business. Should our NBRC officers
display public drunkeness at the convention banquets? Hell no!
But then we are all human. We all have our issues.
If Bob wanted to keep his position, I don't
think anybody could unseat him. Bob has earned his right to step
down anytime he chooses. It seems to me that there is a strong
possibility that you are making more of this than Bob is. Bob
has seen a lot of political posturing over the years and he has
held his position for the past..... what 10-15 years of open
elections?

Bob is a tuff ol bird and I don't think he's
concerned about this at all.
JMHO,
Cliff

Yep, I've got a long memory and rarely forget when someone makes
a slur like that on a guy has served the organization as well as
he has. I really no longer want to be a part of an organization
that would install someone capable of that kind of behavior as a
national officer. Fortunately my membership lapses next month.
And Jay if you want to find the "friggen jerk", go look in the
mirror. AMF!!
Keep em spinning

GENTLEMEN......PLEASE..... lets get back to the topic of
disscussion... I agree with alot of what has been said about
the Rules needing to be "revised". This reminds me of when the
CDL (license for commercial truck drivers) came about back in
December 31,1991.
Several people in the U.S. got together from all over and took
all the 50 states driving tests and combined them into 1
Standard Nationwide license test.... Now, EVERYBODY thru out the
Untied States takes the exact same TEST..... The same should be
done with the Fly Rules. Gather top flyers Worldwide and come
up with 1 set of rules for ALL to follow...end of all
discussions and debates on this subject.... That makes MORE
sense then just arguing about HOW our birds "should" be scored
or WHAT "method" of scoring should be used. Stop living in the
PAST..... We need to start living in the NOW....

Rules are fine the way the are .. in fact I doubt that they can
be improved . Although a suggested min. standard may not hurt so
that some may know why flawed birds aren't scored by some. And
by suggested it still allows those with lesser standards to
still score without an implosion.
The fact is you could place teams in the right order most of the
time just by placing smily faces on the score sheets . 4 smily
faces would = a good solid team .. no smily faces = forget it
LOL

scott you beat me to it , i agree.....the rules now are fine ...
if you look at rules as though they are laws they need to be
fellowed by everone , not just the judges , not just any comp.
fly , but all comp. flies... it really does'nt have sqwat to do
with the rules that are in place... anyone that flys or judges
should have no reason to have questions about the rules or
standards if they do they have no bussness flying or judgeing
in the first place.... the easeier the rules are to understand
the better off we all will be.......

Thank you guys for your feedback in regards to
the new way of thinking concept. Your reactions were as expected
except for one individual. However, I have received several
emails and few phone calls with excellent feedback. They wished
not to post so they won’t be ridiculed. I have different views
than yours and I think the “Bell Curve System” concept will
catch on in due time.

My view is the audience of this site was not the
proper audience for new change or new ideas. As always, when I
post something or publish articles of value, I post it to PRDC
first in a way of appreciation to Tony and of a way saying thank
you for his contribution to the hobby. After talking with Tony,
there are other methods to get it to as many eye balls as
possible. Thanks for your responses.

I didn’t see anybody taking my challenge!! All
what I read is couple of lines for each post about embracing the
old way but no reasons provided to advantage/disadvantage and
why. No need to go any further, I hate to embarrass any of you.
Thanks again for your contribution.

Jay, You did not post your original post but rather the edited
version. If you posted the original you would have a lot to be
embarassed about. This is my last word on the subject.
I gave you credit for trying to quantify some of the factors in
judging a kit of rollers but unfortunately I am afraid your
method complicates the process rather simplifying it.
