       I use both Purina Green & Gold. If you mix the 2 they will pick
       out the gold and eat it first. The straight gold gives you happy
       birds and big fat babies. With the kit birds they are not as
       active (roll) with the gold as they are with the green. Have no
       issue with the droppings(firm no smell) and provide nothing else
       but water.

       south wind.... The green has worked for my kit's very well and
       your right ,No dropping smell but I do give them red grit and
       oyster shell with charcoal.  ;D Joe
