Well Anna, I guess if your signed up I had better do the same! I
am Anna's friend from Oshawa, Ontario, Canada, my name is Paul
Whiston. I have enjoyed visiting this sight for many years and
told Anna (buttertup) that this was the place to be to meet
other like minded people in this hobby/ sport! I first got into
rollers when I was 8 years old, I had them up until the time I
was 18, my birds were stolen, adults, young and eggs. I took
this pretty hard and although many kind hearted individuals
brought me new birds, something in me was taken with my birds, I
tried to make do with these gifts, but I missed my old birds. I
tried to get back into birds in the early 2000's, but life
sometimes forces one to make drastic changes and I moved away
from Toronto to my present town and was unable to bring the
birds along with me! Now I have married the perfect woman, we
have a 3 year old son, another child on the way and I have a 15
year old son from a previous relationship. We moved into a brand
new house this past May, in a new sub-division and I am ready to
get some rollers now that we are settled in. My other interests
are bass fishing (large and smallmouth), anything in the great
outdoors and I am a life long San Diego Chargers fan!

WELCOME Paul, I am glad you get the bug back! They took your
rollers but they did not take your love for their little
feathery butts!

Thanks Thom,
They took my birds, but I have never passed up watching a flock
of pigeons flying, visiting pigeon shows or checking out
anything I could read or watch on the internet to get my fix! I
have borrowed hundreds of roller pics from the net for my screen
saver and its an hour long slide show of nothing but rollers.
This site Tony has created has been a god send, I hope he
realizes how much it is appreciated!
