       Say Y'all

       Howdy,
I just wanted to say hello. My name is Anna Haney and I live in
the Smokey Mountains of North Carolina. We are beef farmers, but
once again I have a few rollers (very few lol) that were gifted
to me by a client who got them while in Tenn. Having pigeons
here is quite a lonely thing but my friend from Canada whois
also getting back to birds told me to come here. I don't know
what strain of birds I have but they roll and make me happy.
Thing is my loft will be finished by spring and I guess I should
be thinkin' of breedin' stock. Not easy for a pigeon girl to
network, but here I am givin' it a shot. I imagine y'all are
puttin' up for the comin' winter as we are, have a good fall
       season.

Welcome aboard! This is an active list and you'll find lots of
helpful information in the archives, so spend the winter reading
       through them.

You are in a good spot. I believe our NBRC Bulletin Editor lives
pretty close to where you live. There are alot of great
rollermen in that area and a few are within an hours drive. Good
luck with everything and if you ever need anything, just post it
on here. And yes, Cliff Ball lives in the Greensboro area and
       would be of great help.

Why thank you so much. I live in Canton. I guess anyone near
here will know it. I am so excited to hear there are roller
folks in my state. I was sort of thinking that no one would come
to my loft to see my birds fly one day, but perhaps I'm not as
far off the grid as I thought. I cannot believe all of the
       information here. Truly helpful.

I believe Mr. Bob Simpson who is the NBRC Bulletin Editor lives
right by the Blue Ridge Moutains so he's close by. Give him an
email and he'd be more than willing to help you out with
anything you need. His email is nbrcpubed@aol.com

I tried to post my pic to my profile, had troubles, but anyway
this is me, I guess it is an attachment.

I too am an editor. I edit for Bravebluemice magazine and well,
I am an author. So I have two things in common with Mr. Simpson.
However, I write horror, so there our common ground splits lol.

When my loft is ready for breeders, I think talking to Mr.
Simpson will be a good idea. From what I am reading here, what
families I breed will be perhaps the most important decision I
make. I surely do not want to get off to a poor start. Thank you
all again for the warm welcome. Good night. ;)

Welcome, I have family and a little land in the mountians
between Silvia and Brison near the Cherokee Nation. I plan on
moving there some day, I hope! :)
There are a lot of great folks here, enjoy and join right in.
       Take care

Welcome Anna. Glad to see interest from the fairer gender.
Roller flying is male dominated but doesnt have to be. Hope you
       enjoy your journey.
