one of my eggs is missing

i refilled my mating pairs food and checked on them both eggs
were there. when i got home and checked on them one of there
eggs was gone and they have stopped sitting on the other. i
wonder what happened to it have any of you seen weird things
like this in your coops? do you think the birds did something to
it? the only thing they could have done is ate it because it is
gone without a trace. and there is o way it rolled out broke
inside the box. what do you guys think.

sounds like a snake rats usly eat um on the nest leaveing the
shells.... i,ve lost 3 young to a black snake , before i got
pens snake proof and took care of the snake....
