THE richard family???? my first two birds

i bought my first two rollers, they are brown, and on the leg
they are tagged with a number and it states they are from the
richard family. i tried real hard to find a breeder hear in
Visalia CA, but couldn't so i went to a feed shop here and saw
these two and bought them. is there anything you guys can tell
me about them. and can anyone point me to a local breeder in the
Visalia area????

Hey T.J., I answered your post without reading this post. It
would be hard to call two birds a kit. For rollers to develope
correctly they need to fly as a kit, so at a minimum 11 to 21
birds with the higher amount preferable. I would suggest trying
to find a local breeder to sell you a kit of young birds. If you
have no luck, Tony's Ruby strain makes an excellant start. They
are a good bird for a beginer because of easy management and
they have the performance bred into them.

thank you for you info, i am not in a big rush to start flying
but i would love to get there, would you happen to know of a
breeder in the tulare county california area?? that would have a
kit or two for sale???

Nobody will have "a kit or 2" for sale at once that will be of
any good account. Look up Joe Emberton in Visalia CA. He is a
top notch rollerman and can help you with contact info, etc. Get
involved in the club there, go and see teams fly. You will meet
some great ppl and learn about rollers and roller flying.
This is a long term investment, flying rollers. It will require
years of dedicated effort to realize some measure of success.
Dont let yourself be tricked into thinking it can be bought and
reproduced at a moments notice.

The Thunderbird club is having a Auction in Aug. 20 somewhere in
Visalia, CA.....you can go auction for bird there.....all I got
to say is good luck.....I may show up..lmao

I live in Fresno county but not in Fresno

No not in the club just in general? You ride street bikes and
fish right? It not a bad thing cause I think we have Hung out.
