Joe, I sold all my kits and loft, split my breeders into two
remaining kit boxes. I guess you can say I had a moving sale.
BUT still haven't moved. Lol. Hope to sell this place soon so I
can be back flying kits soon, I really miss flying some kits.
There is nothing better than a hot cup of coffee in the morning
watching a young kit develop and let all the dreams flow in on
what that team might do for your next BIG fly! Lol...

I have to agree with Cliff's first comment. "Today's modern
Roller competitions need to define a "RANGE" of scoreable
Rollers, from the minimally acceptable performance to the
absolute ultimate performance. One should not change the meaning
of the other but work in harmony to enhance understanding of
both. Giving a judge a clear precise understanding of what he
should base his judgements on."
Not use the judges "personel" standard.....

i don't what the rules says but i feel that if they change the
rule(s) that everyone wouldn't agree with them so i think they
should leave it along ..................donny james

Didn't we all have this same or similar conversation when the
Judge from South Africa expected nothing but perfection with
every roller in the kit to be on the same exact wing beat?
Maybe leave the "rules" the same and change the judging to
panel/committee style with an "average" score of however many
are judging. Can't go too wrong or get too far off with that
method.
