Looking for a kit of young Jaconette's. Bought a kit but
resulted in 50% loss to date.

Medhi Arzaghi Turner Line SCOTT C. in Calif. or TY Coleman --

I'm with wingpatch, why not Jaconettes? Many rollerman have
done excellent with them and they are what I choose to breed and
fly myself.

I know of three flyers who have worked with Jaconettes for 5-10
years, are not happy with them, and have recently moved to other
families of rollers. I am very surprised...they were staunch
supporters of the Jaconettes and have been pretty quiet about
their switching families. The biggest problem appears to be
their sensitivity to feed and trouble keeping them from skying
out. On the other hand I know of other fliers who do very well
with them. There are good birds in every family. It is best to
select a family that fits with your plans in the hobby, your
management style, and your geographical setting.

well johnnie if there was'nt some of us flying jaconettes who
would all you guys have else to beat... l.o.l. and as far as
flying the show bird strains go, i grew out of that in the
70's.......but i have to admit they sure are pretty little
things with all the modena, owl, fril, short face tumbler ,
colors they crossed into them...........

Useing the name " Jac" is an awful broad brush , there has been
a lot of water under that bridge . Some Jac based families can
be good and some can be bad. It doesn't take many generations to
change a family.
