       Mice!

What Do Most People use to keep away Mice? I keep food out of
the loft, I feed them and when there done I take it away, I have
tried Moth balls, Mice traps on the ground around it, Sticky
tape for mice, and I clean it out once a week. But I still have
them, and I use Corn Cob for bedding. Appreciate all Responces,
       Thanks!

I use poison bait bars. I place them where I think mice may have
access to them. If it is where birds can get to it, I cover it
in a way that only the mice can get to it but the birds cannot.

I prefer the 'just one bite' bait vs D-con. With D-con there can
be some learned bait avoidance as result of sub lethal dosing.

I say just fight it out keep everything spot less and hopefully
the mice will go away. I'm having the same problem atm, I just
keep the loft spot less and I'm using the sticky pads. Uummm the
mice that I have seem to be immune to the D-Con poison. I can't
think of anything else that would get rid of them right
away....u have to win the war not the battle.

I use a cat. I raised it with the birds from when it was a
kitten and would fit in the palm of your hand. She can be in the
separation pens or in the stock loft. She is actually afraid of
them. When I hold one up to her, she runs away for all she is
worth. I use the crown pens and she could, if she ever wanted
to, simply reach through the bars and have her some baby squab
or adult pigeon. She will lay on top of the pens with pigeon
heads bobbing underneath her and simply ignore them.
She has been there for 2 years or so at this point. I do
understand that one day she could go "rogue" and do some damage
but she could have already if she wanted to...
I do not have a problem with mice at all.

I use the same method as Tony C.besides having no food laying
       around
I will put my female cat up against the best ,mice rats
       chipmunks and a occasional squirrel.

I use rat terriers and they are worth their weight in gold!
Lol... They kill and eat everything that touches the yard that
is not a pigeon, we'll except the moles. They just kill them and
put them on my door step. Lol... Good luck!

I keep all my feed in LARGE plastic containers with tight lids
in my main loft. I clean up any spilled feed that gets on the
floor. I use the poison bait boxes scattered around, where the
walls meet the floors and those sticky pads. All are placed
where the birds can't get access to them. So far so good, I
haven't had a mouse problem since I started this regimen. I
have been doing this for quite a few years now, 5 to be exact
and I live out in the country....Good luck
