Hey Raul, Nice bunch! I like the Red Beard (mark) best but they
all have the Ruby look. I would be willing to wager they have
644D in their back ground.
Take care my friend
Thom

Hi Thom,
If I were a casino manager I would do my best to keep you away
from my establishment! ;D
Here are a few more babies almost ready to be weaned. I did not
get to band them as I was away on vaction, and when I got back
they were to big to be banded :(

Raul, Take a razer saw and split your bands. Unless you are
going to show them it will not matter except to you. I raise a
few baldheads each year and absolutely love the bull eyes on
them, it makes for a stricking looking bird.
Best of luck my friend!
Take care
Thom

hey Thom, nice to hear someone openly admit that bull eyes look
good. its funny how so many think bull eyes is a bad trait. if
it looks good, and rolls good, what the heck does it matter what
color its eyes are? i also like a bulleye on a light faced bird.
come to think of it, i don't recall seeing a bull eye on
anything except a light headed bird.

Hey Steve, Not all but most birds with a lot of white on their
head will have bull or odd eyes. I don't care for odd eyes but
hold no fault with both being bull. It is a matter of preference
and has no affect on a birds ability. Here are a couple of my
baldies. The hen I sent to the late Pat Hogan. Pat did not have
long with rollers but enjoyed the time he had. The second is a
yearling cock in my stock loft.

Hey Tony, That hen ( 09-024) is out of a first generation cock
(from my foundation Ruby-07-009 Red Bar Black Ticking and Ruby
07-002 Blue Bar W/F) and a grandaughter from the 07-0018 Blue
Bar Cock, I was so proud of it's second year of flying. He was
the first kick-ass Ruby I raised. Fast/tight/30+/with form and
manners! I liked the bird, still do! He belongs to another list
member now and I think is raising him some good birds. I get
bald heads almost each breeding season and they are some of my
favorites in the air. Pat was suffering from congestive heart
failure but loved the birds. I was happy he had some time with
them before he passed. I think his wife continued keeping if not
flying them in his memory.
Take care my friend
Thom

Just to clerify, The yearling cock was in my stock loft as a
foster last year, not as a breeder. I like him in the air and if
he holds up I might try him in the stock loft as well. By
necessity I must maintain a small loft so there are only a few
openings each year and he has to earn his place.
Take care my friends
Thom
