Not if you put it in the fridge before the embryo begins to
form! I know guys that have kept them in the fridge for weeks
and had them hatch just fine. Timing is everything.

Joe,
I have done it many many times...the longest I have kept them
is twelve days.... one out of two fertiled. I have kept them for
a week on a regular basis with as good fertility rate as I get
when I leave them under the pair.
