someone once told me that "most Jaconette we see in these day
are just junk Jaconette" and that the Original Jaconette is no
longer existed.....

I would have to strongly disagree with whoever told you that.
Jac's are the only line that I fly and I am very satisfied with
them. Many other guys have had excellent luck with them as
well.

I would have to strongly disagree with whoever told you that.
Jac's are the only line that I fly and I am very satisfied with

I don't know Bill Crider myself, but he is certainly not the
only one to ever handle Jaconette's ;)

8)I was once told from an old man that jaconnette bird was
create from his big open loft and all those bird in the loft was
from pigeon lover in their kit A box.... some years later
jaconnette fly all the squeeker and for all the good spinner he
keep it and all the bad one he cull it.....and that was how his
strain start from....that maybe why his bird has all kinds of
color.....

I am interested in the Jaconette as I aquired birds from Mr.
Horner about 2 weeks ago. They are young and I am trying to
teach them to trap. This is my first experience with roller
pigeons.

Napa , from what i understand mr. horner has a very good line of
birds.. i am sure several on here have some of his birds ... any

to say! There are good families of Jacs and some not so good.
Guys like Clay Hoyle, Bill Roy, Bob Westfall and others have
done extremely well with theirs. Others are not so good just
like any other family of birds. And Jay as far as flying more
than two families of birds together, I recommend you quit
reading to much science fiction, I have flown 4-5 different
families together with no adverse effect!

Gary and I love the Jaconette rollers. Ours come by way of
Byron Gable. (Didn't have much luck at all with the Horners)
We fly them seperate, guys and girls each in their own kit. Not
so many "out" birds that way. They do tend to fly a bit high
sometimes but kit great and roll fast.
