Rumor Mill: Accused Of Removing Posts

I have been accused by a site member of removing his BS posts, I
have not. When a person who starts a topic decides to clean up
the BS within his topic, he can remove as he sees fit. I
currently do not have any site moderators as for the most part,
the members are conducting themselves in an acceptable manner.
Now that's not to say that I have never removed posts, I have
and will again in the future. Each time its a judgment call to
keep the quality of the posts on a higher level. I do not get
the chance to read every thread or post and you guys are for the
most part self-policing the site. Some have pointed out
questionable posts and I have responded appropriately. I just
want to nip any rumors before they get started.

Well Jay started the post in question so if he removed a post
that was ment to slander a fellow rollermans reputation I
applaud him for doing so.

Tony.... I have been a member of RPDC since it's inception, I
think. I have never had a problem with the way YOU handle your
website. I can remember some posts in the past that were
removed..... and with just cause. WHO knows better then you,
how he wants his site to be... Iam backing YOU up 110% on what
you do..

To All, thanks for the understanding. It has become my
unofficial policy to stay out of all your way on these
discussions. Believe me, there are times I want to jump in and
mix it up (like I used to) but I try to refrain as much as I
can. I want to run the site in a way that gives voice to all the
perspectives on the roller, even when it fosters heated debates
and especially when I disagree with Cliff who often shoots the
winning jump shot over Scott. ;D
I have little patience for "ill-advised"or "stupid" and
"ignorant" posts and will have no problem removing them and/or
the trolls that pop-up here and there. Please continue to let me
know when an inappropriate post is made and I will look into it.
(You might first contact the member who initiated the thread, as
I mentioned they can remove it, if no satisfaction, then contact
me and I will look into it).
For the most part, you are all doing an excellent job of
presenting your positions and allowing for the give and take
within discussions. I enjoy reading the site and really
appreciate your contribution to promoting the hobby via
Roller-Pigeon.Com.

HAHA! Now Thom, sometimes I think I make 2 new friends on the
board but lose 3 others! Perhaps I can initiate some threads and
turn up the heat and let you all sort it out!? ;D Course that
would be trolling...I remember once I did ban my self for like
10 days on the old site. hmmmm...

Scott and I are more evenly matched than you know. We are the
ying and yang on many issues. I don't think there is always a
right or wrong....so, in essence, they are all just opinions and
everybody is right, no matter what their opinion. Some just
present them with a little more couth than others! LOL!
