Where did this come from?

Guys,
This is what one of my son Brandon's English pairs produced
this round.....This is the third generation in our loft and they
have always been in individual cages......any ideas? Jay
Note: I have added this birds pedigree .....the cock 2501 and
the hen 1306 were our original English birds.

Hector Coya iis the crest guy to talk too. He tries to bread
crests & flies them, he was flying 2 in his kit last week. They
will come out from one of the parents caring crest & it can be a
lot of generations back. Hectors are all on the deep side so
fly it out & see. The ones I have seen Hector fly are all deep
& fast. He has gotten 4 or 5 from guys breeding in individuals.

There was and maybe still and English fancier that bred crests
his name was Les, Rick Schoning in Montana would know who I am

These English birds are down from the English birds Ellis
McDonald brought over here ........We got our first English
birds in 2004 from a guy here in Indiana that had got some from
Ellis somewhere around the early to mid nineties.

This pigeon is interesting.....It speaks volumes and very loud
too.....Remember if you inbreed them what is in them good or bad
is going to come out..........Glenn

There is no telling what it is then , with that said there are
some English based birds that will throw a peak... my experience
has been that odd stuff tends to pop up out of suspect lofts.
I have had English based birds and many many different families
and have never had odd stuff (color) or other wise pop up.. but
then I'm very picky of what I allow onto my property.

So are you saying Ellis has a suspect loft? Isn't that where
Wayne Feder and Jim Sherwood got their English birds? Jay

A crest appearing here in the states is a very rare occurrence
apparently but in the UK and around the world, it happens just a
little bit more. I wouldn't be surprised to see a crest if they
are infact English based birds.
