Are you Tippler Rules? If so, this is a great place to learn
about how to take care of rollers but that question might open
up a can of worms.

Depending on who bred them, lol. If they came direct from James
they can be top notch but he does raise culls just like the rest
of us. Some flyers love the family and some hate the family. It
just depends on what type of rollers you like. ;) I have had
birds from Jay Knepp, Jay Yandle, Danny Joe Humphrey, and Cliff
Balls strains of the Turner family and have been well pleased
with them, I have also had strains from other breeders of the
Turner Family that were absolute trash. So in my opinion they
can be made into a great kit if you get the right birds to work
with, but just like any other family you can get Turner's family
from people who have just bred for the pedigrees or just for the
colors that are in the family with little to no regard for the
roll. I personaly have been working with them since 2007 and
have enjoyed every minute of it . ;D

Ty, have you had any from Tony Roberts? Are they basically the
same as Turner's or are they different?
Talk to you later.

Russ, I have only had one Roberts banded bird so I cant realy
say anything about his family. As far as genetics go the
Turner,Roberts and Don Greene birds are all the same geneticly,
They have just been bred to the handlers style. I have a few of
Don's birds in the back ground of my main line. :D
