A college education and a degree is just a means to get you in
the door for a professional job or a career. After employment,
it is up to the person to show what he/she made out of. It is no
difference than a young man out of high school getting a labor
or factory job. Once they are in, do they hold their own weight
or do they go out in their lunch break smoke pot and drink beer
in their car? Do they show up every day and learn how to be
efficient and effect at their job or do they complain about
everything there is to complain about?
I hold a BS in Computer Science and all it did is just got me in
the door for my first professional career job. After that it was
up me what to make of it. I learned the ropes from my hard work
and became efficient and effective for finding ways to save
companies money and automating departments. 10 years later I
earned my MBA while I was working full time and having a family
just to further my chances in my career. I could have said BS is
good enough and heck with post graduate work. I could have
chosen to start a used car lot before college if I wanted
to...but I made choices that I live by them. How sad is I only
hear smart mouthing college education from people who don’t have
it. No wonder why our American companies are moving overseas.

I put myself through college Scott. I bought a post office mail
truck and converted into an Ice Cream truck and busted ass all
summer long to save my money to pay for my schooling and support
my family. I used to pray for rainy days to take a break. I had
the means to to go either way when you have cash at hand.
