I have a blue bar cock and he is on a reduced black hen what
colors do think I will get thinking of letting this pair raise a
set just to see I am hoping to get a few more blue bars I dont
know why but I love that color of bird

Spread the blue bars wing and the reduced blacks wing and look
for bronzing or grizzle or both factors at the base of the
quills that will tell you what factor is in the bird. The
grizzle or bronze factor must be in both parents to pull bronze
or grizzle but blue bar to reduced black could produce many
colors if the factors are in the quills. :) Joe

This post was 120 days ago, but I will respond to it anyway...
What is the pattern of the reduced black hen? You may get blue
youngsters, but the bar pattern will depend on what pattern this
reduced black hen carries…
