Theft

My cage got hit last night and man am I just taken aback. I had
no idea the people ,and i use the term loosely, are stealing
birds. I just got back in the game about four years ago and man
does this hurt. I live in LA,CA and this was common some 30yrs
ago. But NOW!!!!!! I lost twenty birds and this is a big hit
for me because I don't keep that many. >:(

when did this happen? a couple of guys in LA were recently
caught stealing birds, and their pictures were posted. see
rollerworld.com

I have no idea who. Thanks for the support. I will look at the
pix on the other site. It happened on the night of 4-14 or the
day of the 15.

there are lots a pigeon theifs in LA. They should be rounded up
and shot. Maybe we can cover them with honey and put milo on
them and let your birds peck em clean.

Good Idea Dave !!! In my case I believe it was the neighbor hood
kids, being only 2 birds were taken. I try not to get so mad
with them because kids do stupid things but man did it hurt
loosing those birds.

Luckily for me the kids around here knows my dogs will bite

Join the crowd......I had 15 kit birds stolen back in
Jan...along with one of my best stock hens.....I always try and
help people out.....but it wont happen again...all my neighbors
are on the watch....the cage is tied to my home alarm system and
when I am gone my dog is off her collar....man I was
pissed...Sorry to hear you got nailed.

If my dobie takes a hunk out of a grown man thats a good thing,
but if he bites a kid for being stupid he will be in doggie
heaven and he knows it. I would give away every bird I own
before I would have a kid hurt over a pigeon. We were all stupid
kids at one point in our life,,,, remember ????
