Without asking the NBRC secretary, I suspect that most, if not
all men either, were or are, NBRC members. But I am not 100%
sure and I will have to ask somebody.
I see at least 2 English flyers on the NBRC HOF. It is
possible they were or are NBRC members but like you said it does
not state NBRC membership is a requirement. I'll ask around to
see who knows something.

You are correct. You do not have to be a current member or ever
have been a member to be inducted although I do believe every
current inductee was/is a member of the NBRC at one point or
another.

Hi, welcome to the site. My membership is currently for a year
and I think most memberships are just for a year but I think if
you want to buy a membership for 2-3 or more years, that's
probably ok. Someone else who might know a bit more about this.

How I buy membership forever? Don oullette, jerry higgins, don
simpson, james turner and other people have membership to 2100.
How is that they do that? Is that for hall of fame, no? I love
roller.
And thank you joeb and 2y4life for you answer me.

James Turner is a lifetime member because he gave the NBRC a
sum of money when the club was in a financial dilemna.........If
I am not mistaken you also become a lifetime member when you
achieve 2x Master Flier status or a total of 1500 Master Flier
points............ Jay

Hartattack, Jay is correct about James Turner and that was the
same situation for guys like Jerry Higgins, Don Oullette, Don
Simpson, Fred Shaffer and a few others. It happened twice, I
believe, in the 80s where the NBRC was in financial dire and
offered lifetime memberships to current NBRC members for a large
sum which those guys listed above paid. That is a testament to
their dedication, love, and passion for the roller hobby and the
NBRC.
As far as being a lifetime member when you become a double
master, I don't know if that is true but could possibly be. I
know last time I talked with Clay Hoyle, he said his membership
lasts until 2025 or something. I believe all the guys that have
a lifetime membership, their membership lasts until 2100.
