It will take some time to get a lot of the significant post from
the old site to this one, and I'm willing to lend a hand and do
it with the help of Tony, I think it would be a great idea for
Tony to assign some admins to each sections of this forum to
manage the posts.

Hey Ty, it is my intention to bring many quality threads over to
this site, some I will have to scrub a bit before I put them up,
but I think it will be too much to bring 7 years worth of posts
here though. I will have to sift and sort to find the best
gems...

Hey Jae, I will probably ask for help moderating some of the
boards, but let me say, you have to have a thick skin to handle
the push back some of the guys can give. Certain guys don't even
want to be warned that they are doing something wrong, they get
all defensive, hurt and go on the attack! >:(

7 years worth WOW. That should take some time to go through.
Here's an Idea, why not open a section and let everyone transfer
there favorite post, no room to complain later if they didnt
move it ????? Should be a simple right click copy and paste,
just add the title and add some sort of symbol to show it was a
old post.

All I can say for me is, at first the "New" design was difficult
to get use to. But, like others have stated, it takes alittle
time to get to know the "new" design. And now, I think this was
the way to go. Change is "GOOD"... It's a sign of moving
forward and progressing. And that we must do. But for some,
change is very difficult. We are creatures of "habit".... We
get use to doing things a certain way and that's that. Over
time we'll all get use to the "New" way
...........LOL

Wouldn't it be easier to just put up a link to the old site from
the new site....not for new topics, but just to be able to
access the old material.....

There are too many sections that it is dizzying to read. Some of
those sections probably can be combined or eliminated. One is
breeding section--too many. There should probably be just one
section on housing to include portable flying, kitbox, etc. News
probably should be on top. Posts should show the oldest section
first even though we can change that in our profile. Non-members
will get confused reading it. Feeding probably should be on one
section as well which should include both competition and
non-competition flying. I have others, but that's it for now.

I think more sections help you get to the content you're
interested in.
