Saw my first BOP since loft went up (My old method)

Time to put up the cob webs
Use fishing line, wrap it in a ball like a bird nest and staple
a few of them on top of your box, training cages and surrounding
areas. Evidently hawks can see the line and are discouraged
because they do not like being in situations where anything
       slows their escape.
Used this method in the past and although did not stop the
random air attack it did keep them away from the yard.

Hi Arrowslinger, I am ignorant to this method and am concerned
that this is actually a "trap" for the bird? if it is then this
is illegal and we cannot have this advice on the website. :o
       (Operation High Roller)
       Thanks

Over the years I have hung up everything mirrors, shiny discs ,
plastic owls , decoy Canada geese , feed the crows I think they
all help around loft & there still being used. It's the bop off
away from kit box circling that is a bother. This year I've
added a hand held marine signal air horn . I sit it beside my
coffe cup while in my chair watching them perform . When I see a
bop too close give um a blast on the horn & they duck & dive &
fly away. Used it 3 times now & works . Even the pigeons duck &
dive & have used it to chase them back up when coming down to
early. Just something to add to your arsenal that's legal . Good
       Luck everything helps.

Tony I understand your concern and I never looked into the legal
aspect. I can tell you they never touched it or got caught in
it, from what I understand it is the sight of it.
