I'm sure that others have had the powder with pellets, to
contend with, it being difficult to salvage, or remove from
pellets. So here is what hit me today ! If you have a cricket
container, like 8" round, here we call box, although it is round
1/16 mesh hardware cloth, (wire), dump the pellets dust and all
in it, turn it around a few times, dust falls through the wire,
pellets remain nice and clean. Put powder in a worm bed, throw
it in the pond, mix it in with can dog cat food, or what
ever-but you will have clean pellets! Dump loose feed from
feed trays into the container and it will look new !! chesley

First of all when it comes to "pellet dust" their is nothing
wrong with it. It's all "pure" pellets remains... It's not
like it is something that has contaminates in it..
so "why" throw it away. In actuality you are just throwing away
your $$$... Most important thing in handling the bags is be
"gentle" and don't just toss them around. This helps eliminate
the breaking down or crushing of the pellets..
A simple way that helps to avoid the "pellet dust" is, try and
purchase the "harder" type pellets. Just do a little more
       research.
