Flying....after Sandy

Had my birds lock down for about 10 days due to SANDY.. The
temps got a little chilly to so I added the 1/4 cup of corn to
their already 1 cup. I flew the birds yesterday for the first
time. Right off the bat I noticed they went up very very high
but, still in sight. They flew for about 1/2 an hr. Kinda fast
and it was like they never knew how to roll.... After about 20
minutes on their way descending, I saw a few flips .. Was this a
normal pattern after such a short lock down?? Any suggestions??

Everyone's birds are a little different but mine always fly too
high and fast if they have any amount of corn.

Did the storm damage change the scenery in your area? If so,
this might have alarmed the birds and driven them up. If not,
then I agree with John.....probably the corn....
