World Cup Judge Nominee: Joe Emberton

Hi Rollerworld friends:
Joe Emberton called me this morning and told me to get the word
out. His name is in the World Cup list for possible Judge.The
RD's get to vote on it and it has been one of his goals to judge
the World Cup as he is now retired and has the time to be gone 3
month.I've known Joe for over 12 years and i don't know any
other roller guy as dedicated and hardworker as he is with his
birds. Thanks Ahead of time.

It's official. Austin Fox has declined to judge and nominations
are open for the 2013 World Cup judge. Any WC RD can nominate
someone, and any previous winner of the World Cup can nominate
themselves. So far, Don Simpson and Joe Emberton have been
nominated.

as of this point...

Who started this rubbish. The next judge should be the next one
down the line of WC placings? Dean Forster should be the next
pick. The rest shouldnt get their hopes up, dreaming. If Deano
cant do it then the next in the WC placings should do it.

Read the WC By laws before you go getting your panties in a
wad.....

III. The fly-off judge shall be the winner of the previous World
Cup Fly unless that individual declines by November 1. In that
case, the judge and an alternate shall be elected by a majority
vote of the World Cup Committee from a list of qualified and,
willing nominees. Past World Cup winners who have not
previously judged the fly-off may nominate themselves, but all
other candidates must be nominated by members of the World Cup
Committee. All nominations are due by November 1, and at least
the alternate must be elected. If majority consensus is not
reached on the first attempt, a second ballot between the top
two choices shall determine the judge with the runner-up serving
as alternate. The deadline for final determination is December
1. In case of an emergency where neither the judge nor the
alternate can complete the duties, the General Coordinator may
appoint a qualified replacement.

Turmani,
You asked, "Who started this rubbish..." Well, it's not just
"rubbish", it's the By-laws of the World Cup. And as to the
"who" part, the Bylaws are approved by a majority vote of all
the Regional Directors from around the world. Simple
question...simple answer.....It's just that when you go spouting
off the way things "should be", you begin to sound arrogant and
cocky. The simple fact is that the rules and proper protocols
are being followed. If you dissapprove, you should work through
your Regional Director and submit a proposal to change
it.....again, simple enough. But proposals can only be submitted
by World Cup participants as fliers...Or you can nominate Dean
yourself as a flier and participant.......you are a participant
as a flier aren't you??

Yeah it is rubbish. Arrogant and cocky is when you cant just
shut up or say "I dont know" and give a long winded useless
reply, only to make yourself sound all important.
