The fog was still rolling heavily over the green hills and
nearly frozen lake of Sabrina's property. Standing in the shadow
of her balcony, squinting her bottomless black eyes against the
rising sun, Sabrina wished her heart could break. She had been
given the chance to get herself back, to be able to feel again.
When she thought about it, she couldn't really tell if it would
have been worth it though. Sure, she would have written down all
her memories, so they wouldn't have gone entirely forgotten. But
how could she have been able to cope with whatever she would
have become? What if she had become something worse than a
shadow? Shuddering, still unable to feel any real cold from her
surroundings, she sighed. She knew she would have taken that
offer. She couldn't pretend to be good anymore. She wasn't. She
was nothing. She would have ripped that boy's emotion's away
from him like flesh from bone. And what would he have gotten in
return? Nothing. He would feel her pain. And then he would know,
she wasn't worth it at all.
Shaking off the memories, she thought, 'Well, at least in this
life I'm attractive, right?' Her body was almost perfectly
proportioned, if not for being a little too thin. Her muscles
were visible but not obvious, and the tight, black, belly-baring
shirt she wore showed them off quite nicely. Her jeans were her
favorite part of her ensemble, though. They were faded and soft,
and now a light grey. Brushing her raven-black hair from her
eyes, she smiled. At least all of her wasn't entirely dark. Her
throat tightened as she remembered the last person to tell her
that, but still, the emotion would not come. folding herself
onto the steps, she waited. Maybe she would meet a new friend
today. Maybe they could make her forget.

With a tune on her lips and a basket in her hands Destiny
searched for a spot to have her picnic. The wind blew softly
playing with the blonde hair that fell down her back in curls. A
bird landing onto a branch not far from where she stood caught
her easily moved attention. Her head tilted to the side her
golden eyes watched the birth with curiosity; a giggle of joy
left her lips. As the birdie flew away she returned her
attention back to surveying the land, looking for the perfect
place. Not being able to choose a spot she decided to set her
picnic up where she stood. Placing the blanket down she started
to unpack the blanket when a figure caught her attention.
A flash of blonde hair and a squeal of delight was all the
warning Tim Jr. had before a body made a soft –thud- noise as it
collided into him. “Tim!” The girl’s voice squealed once more
with delight as her arms hugged him close. Golden eyes that
glimmered with joy and happiness starred up into his violet
ones. “”Tim, I … we missed you!” Ruffling his sister’s hair he
laughed softly at her corrected ‘we missed you’. “It’s good to
see you too Des.” Releasing her brother from the hug Destiny
took a step back, a smile nearly splitting her face in half, “I
didn’t think you were going to come …?” Her head tilted to the
side as she asked her question. “Of course I came; this isn’t
something I would miss." He smiled at his sister, “So, how about
       we eat?”

Sabrina had only just leaned her head against the pillar of her
balcony and shut her eyes before sounds of approaching people
stirred her again. Not that she at all needed the sleep, it was
just nice to pretend. Standing up and dusting herself off, her
eyebrows furrowed together, her expression becoming a glare, but
the emotion not able to reach her eyes. As she scanned over the
area, she spotted a group far in the distance, enjoying a picnic
on the northern edge of her lawn. "Really," she murmured in
disbelief. "Who the hell just finds a spot and has a goddamn
picnic?" Her question was more sheer surprise than anger, as
people rarely even acknowledged her house. To be fair, these
people had no idea she was here yet either. Smirking, she
thought, 'Might as well welcome them properly.'
As she walked, her stance took on one of pride and sensuality.
Her hips swayed and her breasts bounced gently with each step.
Her pace was fairly slow, and she observed the scene quietly as
she approached. Only once she was within a few yards of them did
she call out. She knew her voice would be a giveaway that
someone was wrong with her. It was beautiful, and it was
melodic, but if you really, really listened, it was dead. Even
so, she had to introduce herself. "Hello," she called out,
raising her hand to wave slightly. "Enjoying the beautiful day?
I'm Sabrina by the way." She made no motion to mention that this
was her land. For the time being, she would simply let it slide,
and she couldn't figure out why.
