Hallowed Ground

Welcome my brothers and sisters to The Church Of
Humanity[size=16pt]here we the true son's and daughters of
heaven live in peace from the evils of this world, free from the
sins of those so called angels cast down from heaven to be seen
by us. But i tell you my children, those are no angels just
pawns of the devil. His own concubine of devils, succubus and
incubus here to lead you from the light of the heavens, and
drive you to the sins of the flesh to grow their ever expanding
armies of darkness. Do not fear my children, on the hallowed day
that the gods showed us their true self. We struck them down
with the heavens favor and chased them from this land and drove
them into hiding now with your help my beloved children we can
once and for all rid this earth of their taint, and deliver it
in to the grace of the light.
Now my child how will you serve the light?(chose your class)
cleansers(those who specialize in the purification of the souls
of angels or devils)
-slayers of the fallen:every 5 levels gain 1d6 damage against
angels
-slayers of the beast:every 5 levels gain 1d6 damage against
demons
the devoted(gifted with the powers of the heavens with the power
of magic)
-priest:master of the healing arts:+10% healing every 5 levels
-inquisitor: master of heavens wrath:gains 100 mana every 10
levels
the artisans(instruments of the lights power)
-crafts:gains profession points faster
-war: gains proficiency points faster
chanters(the voice of the light)
-preachers:boost the moral of his allies through the true word
+1/7 levels
-torturer: decreases the moral of the enemy -1/7 levls

Niel approached the church and stopped half way up the stairs.
Pausing to take in his surroundings. He admired the beautiful
work from the building to even the cement stairs he stood upon.
He probably would have enjoyed the nostalgic memory of finally
walking up the stairs to take his fathers place and finish what
he started. However he just felt jittery without his guns on
him, he was supposed to meet Diana here in the church to receive
his new weapons, but every moment without them made him
uncomfortable. He walked up to the big doors and put his hand on
the handle but paused again. He looked around for a moment,
remembering that today was also supposed to be his friend Sam's
first day as well. "Well hopefully i see him soon, a familiar
face would be nice around here". He shrugged and walked into the
church heading towards the sanctuary, as he entered he called
out "Hello? anyone around?[color=purple]".

Diana Kent dawned the holy rode's that wear passed down from
high priest to high priest Diana had taken the mantle after
father mark was killed in the last grate war by a sinner who
chose the side of the fallen over his own kind .Diana walked as
the priest moved twords the door 4 boxes floated to the side of
Diana the weapons of the new fighters of the holy army. the high
priest grabbed weapon that was just a swords hilt so it looked
like a holy symbol."greeting my child welcome to the Hallowed
ground wear we the faith full come to baith in the light" the
high priest was coved in robes that coved all but the mouth with
a sword hilt hanging from a neckless."now what brings you hear
young one"

"Shit. I'm late!" Sam had been too busy helping an old woman
with her shopping list back in the city and completely lost
track of time. His friend Niel likely had been waiting for him
but it was already way past the time he was suppose to meet up
with him. Once Sam had made it to the church he took a breather.
He had sprinted all the way from the city after checking the
time and now that he had made it he knew that his friend was
already inside. After collecting himself he slowly and calmly
entered the church and upon inspection he found his friend
talking to the holy priest. Not wanting to interrupt them Sam
relaxed up against one of the large columns and waited.

The floating objects didn't surprise Niel at all. He was used to
strange things since he had been friends with Sam for long. "i
am here to join, that i might finish what my father started
years ago. he said clenching his fists remembering what happened
years ago. He turned his head hearing the door behind him open
and seeing Sam. he chuckled to himself. "late again, find stray
cats that just needed your help on the way here?"[color=purple]
he said jokingly motioning with his head for him to join them.

Diana looked at the two and smiled as the boxes floated over to
the men they wear large steal cases in side would be their
weapons "welcome your desire to join in the work of your father
is truly wonderful" the high priest looked at the other boy"and
you my child what brings you hear and why are you soo out of
breath?"

Sam laughed when Niel made the joke about him always helping
others. "It's always nice to help others ya know. I can't help
it if a citizen needs aid." Sam then approached the both of them
and greeted the priest with a smile. He didn't notice the
floating boxes until now mostly due to him always being a bit of
an air head and getting distracted easily. When the priest asked
what his business was here he would respond with enthusiasm.
[color=#20B2AA]"I am here to join the cause and rid the earth of
the fowl creatures that inhabit it. My father was a warrior of
the same cause and he trained me to follow in his footsteps. I
am here to live as his legacy."

Niel rolled his eyes sam and reached into the box pulling out
his gear and putting it on. Spinning the pistols in his hands
felt natural to him grinning. He was pleased to be supplied with
such good quality weapons, he would surly need it with all of
the plans he had. "thank you, i'm excited to begin working as
soon as possible." [color=purple] he said holstering his gun and
popping his neck.

Diana looked at the other boy as the priest willed the other
crates over that had sam's new gear"hear you are my child your
weapons and armor."Diana looked at them "soon my child soon we
will begin are campaign on the dark ones but be warned they may
try and tempt you to join their dark deeds and may see other
humans out side of this town but those chose to live in sin and
spawn more demons and you must never show mercy for the moment
you do they will stab you in the back like the cowards they
are"The priest walked back to the alter"we have much to do we
have a training center as well as a library for study of the tec
and magical arts and in the basement you will see are traing are
wear you can practice your skills as well as restock on ammo and
other things you man need in combat"

Samtook the gear out of the crate and listened as the priest
told them that soon they will have the chance to rid the world
of the evil that inhabited it. Equipping the sniper rifle and
strapping it to his back, along with holding his quarter staff
he was ready to go. "Thank you. I will begin my training as soon
as possible." Feeling eager to get started Sam slapped Niel hard
on the back and gave a cheerful smile and
attitude.[color=#20B2AA]"Come on man! Let's get going. We need
to start training if we're going to be able to help!"
