General Info:
Name: Temyr Oxia
Faction: Angelic
Race: Human
Class: Angel of Death
Bio: Temyr never worked in the light. She would do anything
else, grocery shopping, stroll around town, mug strangers… But
never work. Her mugging problem wasn’t quite the most
meticulously planned event, rather, it was really an
anti-mugging event. Temyr would often see in the streets of old
Irodia, some of the demon faction or often the Kent faction
strong arming other Kent faction members or Angel faction
members. She would never report it, rather, step in and strong
arm them back, asking the muggee how much they had on them (I.E,
how much they would have lost), and beating exactly that much
out of the would be muggers. This gave her quite the reputation
in the underworld and robberies began to get more involved or
have more people in it. See, 150 meters from her sub-ground
repair shop where Temyr worked on simple things such as
bicycles, and more complex things such as steam engines, was a
graveyard. In the night, when Temyr was working, she heard a
terrible pounding from above, from the graveyard, coupled by the
insertions of wiry sounds saying “leave”. She realized that
there was an intruder and they may be doing something sinister
above, and she surfaced. It was dark out, and was the time for
work, not for this nonsense. She quickly picked out 4 intruders,
of differing backgrounds, that had shovels in graves. They
seemed undisturbed by the noise and the fog and the spiritual
discourse. In fact, they seemed so undisturbed and so
unreactive, there were only two options. 1) They were
professionals. 2) they couldn’t notice it/hear it. Temyr didn’t
have time for this, she had four mostly-made windmill blades
that needed to be shipped out the next day! So she looked around
for a weapon to get these guys out of there, and came to the
conclusion that the blade of the windmill would be fine, and she
would have to make a new one anyway. With her ears open, Temyr
jerry-rigged a very crude weapon where it had the handle of a
statue’s sword(Weighing in at a whopping 388 pounds), welded
onto the blade of the windmill(To be accurate, she cut off the
top 10 ft of it and left the other 106 ft to be used later).
What She didn’t Immediately realize, is that the “quick fix”
would weigh 1940 pounds. This might have seemed like a problem,
but Temyr NEEDED these people off of her land, or she would be
literally getting negative work done at this point. She couldn’t
quite lift it, but then the wiry voice came back saying “here”,
and Temyr Punched the wall in frustration. Just like that, a
Rather large skeleton appeared and extended it’s hand toward’s
Temyr’s, saying “Here”, more sternly. She didn’t even stop to
think, and grabbed it’s boney hand. Her right arm’s flesh,
muscles, nerve endings and the like all began to desintrigate,
it was an incredibly awe-ful experience with extreme agony. It
took 15 seconds for her right arm to be all bone, all the way to
the shoulder. She was FURIOUS, and glared the skeletal creature
down. He then began to raise the crude weapon and nodded that
she help him. She decided to go ahead and do so, and deal with
his rudeness later. Together, they held the weapon with ease,
and ran out to stop the graverobbers. They were asleep in a pile
of money, and Temyr wailed at them, they all got up quickly and
drew pistols and a scythe. With the height of the blade(10*5
ft) and the momentum, none of the bullets could do a thing. Then
the three wielding them ran away in fear. It came into a duel
with the scythe user. He was much more experienced than Temyr,
but she thought the boney creature could kick his hand as soon
as they clashed, while letting go of the Windmill blade. He
reacted exactly as Temyr wanted him to, dropping the blade, but
moving the robber’s scythe and his balance towards the skeleton,
Temyr, being hardly able to hold onto the weight, then fell
forward, crushing the scythe and cutting the grave robber
diagonally in two. Her biggest two concerns at the moment
included the obnoxious blood splat that she had gotten all over
her and her weapon, dubbed Mill after it sent the robber to the
graveyard, and the fact that the skeletal being was kind of
walking away.
"'Ay, if yer gonna walk away after all this, dontcha wanna at
least gimme a name? Mine's Temyr" she says as she is forced to
drop Mill and runs after the skeleton.
To which he replies... "Mikael... This... place... is filthy.."
And then vanishes as if a plume of smoke into the air.
Temyr thought about it for a bit, but then remembered what time
it was. She still needed to finish one windmill blade that she
broke and then make an entirely new one by tomorrow morning!
Temyr had around six hours to complete this project and got to
work ASAP.
After putting the finishing touches on the remaining blades, she
remembered that the graveyard above was covered with gore and
loot. "No one'll think I didn't do this," she worried (though to
some extent she had done it). So she approached the gravesite
and spent hours replacing stolen goods into the graves that she
thought they belonged to. Unfortunatley, not every dead patron
labels their valubles, so a lot of it was guessing and most of
it was probably not spot on. In any case, all of the items were
now back with the dead and burying them would be a long-strewn
chore that would take a week. When she went back to the dead
robber and saw that Mill was still next to him, Temyr struggled
to pull Mill back to her hovel. However, it moved very slowly,
catching on the robber's left arm and dragging it and it's
contents as well. Looking back at the arm, Temyr tried to remove
it, as an arm is also incriminating and she simply doesn't want
an arm in her home. In the hand of the arm was held tightly an
object shaped like a book. On closer inspection, it was a
journal with the name 'Mikael' on the front. Temyr was shocked
at first but then realized that Mikael must have been one of the
dead from this gravesite, and she went to the listings, added "A
graverobber" to the papers and started searching for anyone
named Mikael with that spelling as listed on the journal. She
found three names, and searched those graves, but none of them
looked like the Mikael she had encountered. The best bet would
be to read the journal ideally, but what if he didn't appreciate
it? Right on the beat, Mikael's raspy voice creaked "Hold...
But... Don't.... Open...... For now....." She turned around
expecting him to be standing there but he wasn't in sight. Was
it her imagination? In any case, she decided to pack up the
journal and undergo the process of moving Mill to behind her
hovel entrance, as not to scare away potential customers, and
then quickly cleaned her off.
------------------------------------
As Judgement came to pass, it had been only a few months since
encountering, and continuing to encounter, Mikael. But it had
gotten to a point where he was no longer shocked by his
appearances/dissappearances, and they became a commonplace in
her life.
Judgement didn't change much in her way of ideals, more of a
locational collapse coupled with being forced to choose a side.
Kent faction was certain she was a shoe-in, but Temyr made
movements towards the angelic side, hoping to see less bullying
from that side. Whether she does or not remains to be seen, but
she will stop an Angel mugger just as much as she would a
demonic or Kent mugger, and that won't change. She was
commisioned as a mechanic for the Angel faction and began to
fortify walls, though they quickly ran out of materials. She
doesn't have any big plans other than getting to know Mikael
around his journal, perhaps even getting a peek or two....----
With permission, of course!
