alone..." she said, ashamed. She bit her lip and then looked
back at the handle of the dagger. "S-sorry..." she muttered, and
then swiftly pulled it out of his shoulder.

David sucked in a quick breath before crying out in pain as the
dagger was ripped from his shoulder. "BLOODY HELL!!" He
practically screamed.

sorry!" she said quickly, looking like she was going to cry

David immediately stopped and bit his lip. "It's... fine..." He
mumbled as his glance wandered over to the battered and bloody
body of Mad March. His eyes widened and he stiffened up,
remembering what he'd done.

David shook his head. "Y-you shouldn't be near me..." He said,
"I'm too dangerous!" He gulped and looked into Cerys's eyes
again. "I didn't realize the Madness inside me was this
strong...!"

Cerys sighed again. "David, there's no way I'd ever leave you...
no matter how dangerous you are. I c-can't just... not know
what's going on. You always end up needing to protect me... but
what if someday you need protection, and there's no one there
for you? I c-can't risk that, David... so I'll stay with you, no
matter what," she said quietly.
((And all this time Sora and Alikae have been like "Meh, we'll
know if something bad's happening, let's just sit here and not
endanger our lives for once." XD))

risk your life. I can't just... stay behind. I need to be with
you," she said softly. She was still trembling. "David, I-I...
I..." she bit her lip, not sure how to continue.
