kayis felt his arm suddenly get restricted. it was beyond him
how this Mortal man had moved his chains to catch Kayis shield
arm in that short second. Kayis sighed with barely a breath
holding himself there for a single Moment, the final adjustments
were being made to restrict the arm and he spoke in that single
second. " Last chance quit now.." that was all he said as the
final bit of the wrenching restriction was felt in his shoulder.
He knew the man was doing something entirely stupid allowing
himself to be cut in that way, but this was a sacrificial
technique all or nothing, for that kayis could respect the man;
or would if not for the dead state. His golden dead eyes peered
upon the beings face and in that given Moment he rotated his
body curling in towards his shield very fast. His arm moved to a
move painful spot in the restriction just to allow enough of a
gap. Kayis thought it perfectly through. He tugged at his arm
using his whole shoulder movement to throw the man forward so
that even if he weren't tossed the blades of the shield would be
cutting into his ribs and likely his lungs, His head ducked
under the shield as a slight cover and he turned his sword in
his hand so it was back wards and ready to strike when he needed
it to. the turn of the body would likely puncture lungs and the
man would be forced to say enough. this was The hope of the
match, for if the boy tried bringing his arm near Kayis at this
point to stab or anything Kayis sword would stab him through the
wrist before anything else. Kayis next move he would use the
momentum of the shield to sail the boy over head onto his back
and if he weren't careful enough he would be impaled on the
ground in that given moment. Make or break the boy had his
choice now.

He cursed himself for not taking note of the shield before
moving, now he knew he was in deep. Seeing the weapon come at
his face he tossed his head back like a woman in orgasm the
edges were close, but Kayis' turn removed any fear he had of the
weapon. The prisoner pressed on. Now the shield was back, but as
was a sword aimed at his backside. Moving foreword still kept
the blade from hitting its mark to cleanly, it clipped into his
back slightly, cutting but not deep. Kayis was side stepping
now, or some similar motion, the shield that had been descending
to his shoulder was a high risk, so he turned by anchoring his
right foot into the ground and turning with kayis, the shield
was still a threat.. Flinging his hand up he took a deep cut
into his forearm but deflected the shield and got his opening.
Pushing up he got behind the shield letting the blades cut while
doing his best to wrap his arm and chain as well around Kayis
shield arm. With the shield behind him the blades were less a
danger but he could still feel the cuts in his body being
formed. Luckily with the shape of the shield it would be hard to
move it to do more damage if -or rather when- the arm was locked
to the prisoners side. The blood all over his arm was a bitch,
but he wore no clothe on that side of his body and did not have
to worry about slipping if he got a hold.
Counting entirely on his grab he made no other moves. Yet. He
knew his entire strategy now relied on being able to make a
solid grab. Adrenaline pumping through him didn't even let him
register the pain in his arm, side, and back. But once the fight
was over even if he lost, he would wake up to enough pain to
make his waking hours near unbearable. Tunnel vision of combat,
nothing was like it to a warriors mind.

Kayis smirked calmly as he noticed the man emerge from his
hiding place. " your lucky you know, I was going to have to
squish you with that ferris wheel if you didn't emerge soon." he
took a few steps to the side of the Bench he was sitting now and
waited for the man to come closer. His shield was in hand now.
He held it neatly up to his chest as three very large blades
emerged from the round center and began to spin very rapidly
like a buzz saw. " lets enjoy this." he said int hat dead tone
once more as the chains began to fly at him. He placed the
shield in perfect position and rushed the chains head on,
letting them bounce off with ease.
His speed with such a rush put him in front of the man in mere
instants. it may have been what the man wanted but he had not
counted On Kayis shield when he had decided to charge him. Kayis
tilted the shield quickly bashing towards the mans skull with
the edge of the shield. Of course not just any edge it would
damn near cleave the fuckers head in two if it hit. The same
rapid movement allowed him to spin and with careful footing and
a push of his shoulder Kayis spun last minute aiming to use the
shield and tear through the mans shoulder now, dodging the hit
almost completely of the dagger, the fist would have been torn
to shreds if he used it now. kayis sword aimed to cut just at
the bottom of the mans spine just above his ass. His shield
moved in perfect movement back to him after the attempted
shoulder cut and he took a step back while still following a
circle around the man so now he was at the back of the man
offside.

The employee hallway was getting hot, the moving gears friction
was giving off a large amount of heat, while uncomfortable the
prisoner knew it worked in his favor. Once more taking up his
small dagger he heated it quickly by pressing it against the
sides of gears. He knew it heated faster than it should of due
to the heat passing through the small amount of grip offered to
him was hot enough to burn the flesh of his palms. Pulling the
dagger away he pressed the hot metal under his make shift
bandages cauterizing most of his wounds though unable to close
them fully. His realized his enemy wasnt stupid enough to walk
into the trap he knew that now. Stepping from the house of
horrors the prisoner hid his dagger aw well as he could against
his inner arm and rushed Kayis the chains lightly dragging to
the ground. He did his most amount of damage at close range, it
was risky but true, and he knew it was his best if not only bet
this time as well. They were nearly the same height he had
realized then, the swords length maybe a hairs breath longer or
shorter than his chains he couldnt tell. Grinning he got just
inside his own range of attack and sent his chains out with a
full extend of his arms.
The chains moved fast like metal whips, the razor grafted to the
ends of either chain glinting lightly in the artificial light of
the carnival. this of course was while a dangerous offensive
move of itself, the prisoner felt it was worthless his true goal
to bring Kayis in a little bit closer. If he allowed the chains
to hit they would cleave flesh cleanly like a whip yet carve
deep because of the razor and he didnt believe Kayis would allow
that to happen even if he did think the fight was won. Prisoner
shifted as the chains flew his torso going lower changing his
center of gravity closer to the ground as he remembered his past
a bit more his muscles remembering a technique before he himself
had. The change sent the chains down like a slash along Kayis'
legs, while in the last closing of the distance the prisoner
brought his arms up, his dagger flashing in his hand though the
punch in the other hand was the real action that was following
full force forward though the dagger could be a possible threat.

Kayis felt the pain of the spike in his arm, the sword sticking
there as the man dashed off. It would be so easy, He plucked the
weapon from his arm with ease and smirked once towards the man
as he dashed off. " I could kill you right, now with the speed i
have, but i feel it would be a waste, ill let you soak in your
own cowardly behavior." A cold voice lingering as he stepped
over to where his shield was. Blood ran down his arm and he
sighed, taking the time where the man was to grab his Kimono and
tear a pice from it. then to wander the Carnival Aimlessly. The
man was Human and had no state where pain didn't effect him, it
would be a matter of time before He would bleed out and lose
consciousness, Also Kayis was no fool to walk into a potential
trap, he would stay where his sight was of use to him. Finally
Kayis found a heat source and took some of the fire to seal the
wound. His features didn't change as the heat met flesh and
smoke filled the air. Kayis found another seat and rested
sighing slightly " you bore me... I will let you die by your own
cowardice, lest you choose to die like a warrior."

He turned his body as much as he could, they were both removed
from the tangled mass of chains he could feel his spike hit
hard. He then felt a sharp pain in his side, it was high and to
the side going in deep but not hitting anything important. It
would bleed well and for a long period of time but he didn't
care. His actions had saved his life even if only for the time.
Relaxing his body with the blade still inside him he felt the
tug of it ripping through his back and let it push his body back
and away from Kayis. It hurt as the blade finally found its way
through the flesh of his back but he knew he had to get away.
Pushing himself to the side he ripped the blade from his body it
hurt blood splattered the ground and was dripping from Kayis
blade. The adrenaline was flowing through his system.
Testosterone was overtaking his mind, he was thinking clearly
but quickly every idea, every thought flowing with perfect
understanding in the very moments. Putting his left hand over
his side he ran plucking the throwing dagger from the wall it
was stuck before pushing his way into the House of Horrors, once
inside and out of view throwing himself into the employee
section behind the monster walls.
Behind them he used his dagger to cut his kimonos left sleeve
off and in two before removing the chest portion. Danger was
just a few long steps away and he had to stifle the bleeding.
Tying the sleeve around his side it immediately turned red but
the tightness prevented to much blood from flowing over his
body. He had an idea now, a plan. When Kayis entered the house
of horrors he would learn that more than monsters would throw
themselves from the walls. Prisoner disliked the amount of pain
he felt hated how even running had caused the cut to tear
further. He was lucky it hadnt been any further to the center or
he would be forcing his intestines back into his gut. putting
his dagger into his sleeve he gripped the chains at the closest
point to his wrist and began to swing the chains standing where
he could easily send the razor tips and saw like chains into the
flesh of whomever entered.
Blood was pumping from a lot of wounds on his body, the
improvised bandage was working to stifle the bleeding of his
stomach and side but blood still flowed from under the wrap. It
stung like hell but his body was slowly numbing to it as the
military had taught him. He could only plead with the heavens
themselves that he could do this. Feet spread somewhat wide he
knew he would be running and throwing the chains or he would
miss a dozen opportunities or more to attack. He had placed his
dagger back into his right sleeve tied back to his forearm he
doubted it would help but something was better than nothing.

Kayis could feel the bits of lax int he chain that the man was
trying to work his way from. It was ultimate death right at that
moment by his own weapon, how Dishonorable. Though He didn't
care he would allow the movement. The chain to wrap around him
in the way he moved. The sword would still mean little Kayis
would make sure of that. One hit on Kayis would pass and the man
would die right here. The chain met Kayis back and tugged him
closer. " i can work with this." he said in that dead tone
brandishing his blade past the laxing chains and holding it in a
single hand as his free hand grappled the mans chains and pulled
them even tighter so it was a much faster squeeze. Kayis had
Length, and there was a likely chance the way this was set up
the speed plus the length the man would be dead before Kayis was
hit.
Kayis turned into the pull of the chains tugging his opponent
slightly off balance as his sword hand moved and aimed a final
piercing blow towards the mans chest as well as placing his foot
against the mans sword hand to keep it at bay, so fast that it
would be almost impossible to dodge. Kayis would take he spike
through his arm making him cringe in pain a bit as he growled,
or so he'd cringe if not in the dead state. Pain was there he
just wouldn't show it. Kayis blade would likely go right through
the mans gut ending it as Kayis used the sudden lax to escape
the chains and leave the man and his chains limp on the ground.
The attack was perfect. the speed of the pull would throw the
mans defense off balance, and make him move right into the gut
stab. he couldn't dodge for remaining tied up by his own chains.
" no escape, your fate was sealed when you entered friend.' he
said in a cold voice as he would withdraw his blade and begin to
step away
( In the off chance you avoid this fatal strike Kayis would be
ready to punch him in the face Knocking him back at the same
time as slipping out of the chains so he would fly back with his
chains.)
This might be Game if it is merely say so as Ik you don't feel
good

Feeling his chains tighten he looked to Kayis as best he could
and glared hating the feel of being bound by someone other than
himself. Turning his body as much as he could he tried to keep
as much slack in the chain as possible, though the kick nearly
caught him by surprise he used the boxing block of tightening
the muscles and pushing his body into the brunt of it to diffuse
more of the damage through his body instead of letting it
localize. It would be painful in the coming days but it
prevented broken bones though the bruising was almost immediate
a testament to Kayis' higher levels of physical strength. Not
wanting to be chocked out by his own chains he quickly stood and
swung his un-bladed hand the remaining slack of the chain arcing
high to get behind Kayis before he brought it taunt. He was
hoping to lock Kayis's movements down by binding them together.
While doing these things he brought his sword tightly to his
underarm the dull backside of the blade hugging to his arm the
tip of the blade just extending past his shoulder. He hoped he
would get the chance to use it.
While attempting to bring the distance between himself and Kayis
to near nothing he also used the sharp spike at the base of the
pommel as a piercing weapon. Drawing back his arm he swung it
out and up like an upper cut aiming for the left side of Kayis's
chest. It wasnt a fatal shot, chosen specifically to wound
rather than end a life. If clean contact was made it would knock
the air from the lungs, cause a fair amount of bleeding, maybe
brake a rib considering the length and size of the spike. He
didnt know why he wasnt aiming for a kill, maybe he felt
resigned to defeat and felt he should make his mark while he
still could. Maybe felt he could win in the end but wanted to
torture to slowly end the battle with small cuts and breaks at
random. The Prisoner honestly didnt know. All he knew was that
he felt the taste of blood in his mouth, pain in his stomach,
his left arm was near completly numb. He was happy in an insane
way.

A simple surprise was it that the man could stop his sword.
Though would the strength hold out. " acrobatics?" he asked with
that cold dreadful voice as the man seemed to move and flip
himself over him trying to restrict Kayis sword. " wonderful."
he thought and began to move side ways a bit dodging the stab in
quick succession, though he had no clue that it would happen, he
was setting up for something much greater. The chain was no
bound to him, they were close and it likely would be the mans
undoing. Kayis moved quickly circling the man and now the chain
on his sword and on the mans shackled wrist now sought to wrap
around his neck and strangle if not cut his throat out of pure
pressure by his own chains. " no good." he said as he lingered
behind the man and aimed a front snap kick to the mans back to
launch his throat into the chain much harder likely severing his
throat. How would a normal man escape this, his own fault his
own mistake. bounding himself to an enemy that was unmatched in
this specialty what would he do. Still Kayis found walking
slightly painful, a very small gash had taken his heel from
misjudging the mans back wards stab, though the way his body
would be likely constricted at this point, the blade would be of
little use to him, all he would have were his wits and Kayis
could only hope they were sharper than his sword.

"Honor my ass" he thought to himself as he used the flat of his
blade in a rapid motion to connect with the flat of Kayis's
blade and force it down. Putting all his strength in his arms
Prisoner raised his legs and flipped over the assault the angle
making his chains fall lose. Arcing his body the prisoner landed
heavy at a crouch scrapping his knees and free hand blood
staining the ground that fell from the shallow cut in his
stomach and the wounds in his hand and knee. Moving his free
hand he made his chain move like a whip to wrap around Kayis
sword and hoped for the best with that while also sending a
backwards stab towards Kayis left thigh. Due to their close
proximity he hoped either of his 'attacks' would make a
connection but taking into account Kayis speed and inhuman
strength he knew it would be far more than easy to avoid. The
prisoner couldn't help but remember all the times he had
outmatched his enemies in much the same ways, it was laughable
that the same was happening to him now.
He thought about the blade he was using, the decorative paint
along the blade, the fire decal, the simple thin clothe grip,
the worthless indentations and ultra thin points. It was a
worthless excuse for a blade yet he used it now like it was
built specifically for his hand, the way it sailed through the
air behind him in this very moment guided by his wrist, arm, and
will to -hopefully- draw blood. He wondered how it would look
and feel if it did, would the blood be like his own, would it
even bleed, would the wound look like one he himself could
suffer? So many questions he wished would leave his mind, so
many different view points he wished he could see so he would
know beyond weather or not the tension of a cut or open air
became present in his muscles. He also thought about the chain,
the way it had served him in the past to strangle, whip, disarm,
even cleave flesh. He wondered in the seconds it would take for
the chain to make contact or not if he would feel the re
vibration of metal on metal or if the chain would miss the blade
and possibly cut the ground, Kayis, or possibly even himself if
he made the wrong move. He remembered every ring of the chain,
how he watched it get bound to his wrist. Remembered the way the
metal suspended him from ceilings, walls, to floors, to chairs,
even his own bed. He hated the chains as much as he loved them.
He craved the chance to prove himself in this to show the
monsters the worth of a man. A normal human man

Kayis had no need for the man. he had no reason to spare him or
take it easy; truly he was an obstacle in this challenge for
him. So as the man explain himself Kayis would only stare as he
calmly walked forward. he would allow for him to finish his
statement and draw his sword. what fun would it be otherwise.
Though in this state Kayis had no taste for fun, only death. His
feet carried him as he brandished his sword loosely. he hadn't
properly bonded with this weapon just yet so she called to him
but he had difficulty hearing her. "I have to finish this quick
I'm hoping you can forgive me." he stated before once again the
speed seemed to be immeasurable He swung the sword of side of
the man as he tried to pass by. This time aiming a swift
horizontal cut towards the mans torso. His left hand was ready
to make movement if need be, and the man was able to retaliate
fast enough to his speed. His knee bent as well just in front of
the Abdomen to make a quick redirection if need be.

"Shit" the single word slipped between clenched teeth as almost
instantly the bench under him shattered sending him falling. He
knew the enemies were not human but he had never believed
monsters of this caliber had really existed. Knowing the mans
title he felt somewhat delighted he had gotten the current head
of the tourney as his challenge. The fall was a bitch for his
body to control but dropping his foot into the ground he sent
himself tumbling away from the man known as Kayis and the sword
that would have decapitated him. Jumping to his feet the
prisoner slipped a hand into his sleeve and pulled the dagger
from his wrist. "Your limiting yourself all right" he said with
overt sarcasm in his voice as he threw the knife into a nearby
building letting it stick in the wood. He didn't bother to
remember it, it would not aid him in the slightest. While he
didn't know Kayis at all he felt he could at least unsheathe his
sword before having his body cut to ribbons and so with slow
deliberate movements he drew it from its sheath. "This sword
isnt much of a weapon, I just took it from the sword swallower
tent so it is about as sharp as a baseball bat." he gave the
sword a single small swipe letting it whistle once "She is happy
to finally be used for her proper build though. At least thats
how it feels to my hand."
Using his free hand he began to wrap the chains dangling from
his wrists around his arms using the razor ends to lock them
into his kimono to ensure they would not slip without a proper
arm movement. "I am a bit rusty with a sword as well so forgive
me if my chains do most my talking. I am a military man and a
prisoner but even in the jail yard when we fought one on one we
had some requirements before starting." He put his sword up
straight the blunt end between his eyes before he slashed down
leaving it parallel to his leg. Bowing with his free hand across
his chest he cast a glance through his hair to Kayis, to ensure
that if an attack came overtly he could attempt to dodge. He
believed in some manners before combat at least in a one on one
fight but when it came to combat in groups he would lose himself
to the will of battle. It was what had brought him to this
point, the loss of mind that came when a group was his enemy and
they had not prepared proper field for combat. He had gotten
over the guilt that once came with it and relished in the
happening now, but he still felt the urge to be true at least in
single combat.

Still and silent, a world of nothing, and everything in the same
moment. Solace of all lights and blinking cars, and noises. This
was a carnival of sorts that the white haired Slayer stepped
into. " today.. shall be fun." he said with a smirk. He wore the
same Kimono that was issued to everyone though his was open and
hung about his Muscular tone as he passed the House of mirrors
next to the security entrance. all was vacant as could be as he
stepped forward and his golden eyes peered over a man with his
figure resting on the park bench. " you will be my opponent
then?" he called out in a slightly deeper baritone and stepped
forward brandishing his weapons. In his left arm that was
wrapped and sealed he held a Large round shield with a tiny
little silver shimmer that came from its edge laxing at very few
points. In his right he held a Large straight sword. its
brilliance was a Black hilt with a feather like marking, gray
wolf fur seemed to cover the small barely seen cross guard. Then
the jangle of the Asader Emblem hung daintily from the pommel.
The Blade was a shiny silver fading darker and darker until
right at the tip was a black and midnight blue.
The man was no in the sight of his opponent bare chest exposed
with Shadow black clothe fighting gown underneath his Kimono. "
I have no need for this." he said with a calm tone and a
brilliant smile. Tossing off the Kimono to the side. he cracked
his neck and rolled his shoulders " if you choose only to use a
sword this day then so shall I, Honor is my Custom. for I am
Kayis Arel Asader, Former Abyssal of Blades and the current
Master of Blades, and it shall be my pleasure to deliver you
into despair." he smirked at that point tossing the shield aside
noting where it had Landed, if a being were to try and touch it
from the wrong spot it would quickly take their hand off with
the ejecting blades it harbored. He now only had his single Duo
handed Blade in hsi right hand. He tilted his head with an eerie
smile. " i dont believe iv met you before, but you seem like a
good chum so i think ill end this quickly for you; in order for
me not to play with you however Im going to need to become... a
little more " dead" if you will?" The man bowed and so it began.
Kayis eyes instantly seemed to fade back for only a moment as he
flicked his wrist outward the carnival sprung to life, the
simple sounds and chimes of the music. and a commonly Known rock
song began to play "Ultranumb" His body went limp and his sword
hung low as he stood there almost as if he were zombified. the
song began to take play. "Lets go." he said int he most dead
tone as the song reached its climax and the light fell over
them. Kayis had moved at a ghostly speed that left only mere
imagry behind him as time seemed to try and keep up. His left
hand crashed down right next to the man in the bench.
splintering it everwhere as his body arched, and he spun
rapidly. Kayis Main blade aimed to carve his opponents throat at
unreal speeds in that close proximity. his foot caught some of
the sharp wooden splinters and sent them flying toward the foe
should he move fast enough to avoid the slash. " Die for me, and
save yourself the pain you beckon." he said in that cold voice
as his dead eyes peered at him.

The prisoner sat silently on a bench his eyes closed and
breathing even as he rested sword pressed to his chest sheathed
to prevent accidental injury. He enjoyed the deathlike silence
of the park, it reminded him of a school what seemed like a
lifetime before his escape from the lock-down the only
difference was that the smell of blood did not fill the air. He
would fix that. The prisoner stirred from his silent rest
brought to the front of his mind his time before prison, his
life before the military, how the power they had placed in his
hands and the war they made him fight turned him into the man he
was. "For the homeland my ass, its for who has the fattest
wallet and the strongest stomach." This time it was a tournament
that had brought his interest, no money, no chance for him to
lose himself to the actions of combat to hurt a crowd, but fame.
Something he wanted. "I will be the master of Blades. Lets see
the military deny ever training me after that."

Round 1. Kayis vs Prisoner

The carnival's in town, but a very different game is being
played this year. Its dark outside, the atmosphere reverberating
a bone-chilling cold through the night. The fairgrounds are
quiet, save for hollow creaks and moans from the various
thrill-rides scattered around the park. Old vending stands bloom
through the shadows of the night, like ghosts resurrected to
witness the ensuing bloodshed. The park is your playground; the
rides are your obstacles, your tools, maybe even your
battleground. No living being stands in your way, other than
your opponent. There are tents of all sizes, rides of all
caliber, and the entire fairground is at your disposal. Be
careful however of some of the attractions, for you might find
yourself lost among mirrors, with distorted images of what you
are, and what you could become.
