I apologize Venus. I can promise you though that your next match
shall indeed prove interesting are you able to play for a bit

Venus was pleased to find that her opponent was a kind, and
honorable man. There were few things more pleasing than to have
a true battle of skill, without malice or hatred involved. She
liked this guy already. But that didn't mean she intended to
lose. She braced herself as Kirain began to charge, And grinned
before making her move. Obviously, Venus wasn't as big, or as
strong as her opponent. Her advantage would come from being
quick, nimble and flexible. She made her move as he jumped to
his right, extending her left leg to the side, and locking her
left ankle with his right. This was her chance! As his body
rotated to the left to strike to strike at her hip, She pivoted
backward on her right foot, traveling ahead of the blade, while
attemptingto pull a rotating Kirain off his balance by lifting
her left foot, which was linked with his. Also while in the
midst of her rotation, she drew her Kodachi, and thrust the hilt
toward the back of his neck. hopefully this, in combination with
pulling his foot out from under him would be enough to force him
to the ground. Naturally, a skilled warrior would be able to
catch himself, however, Venus would attempt to press the tip of
her blade against the back of his neck. Firmly enough for him to
feel it, but not firmly enough to break the skin. This was a
universal symbol of victory, for if one attempted to move under
such conditions, their life could easily be forfeit. It was
doubtful that Krain would fall so easily, but even if she did
fail, Venus had plenty more up her sleeve, and really to pull at
any moment.

The moment he noticed his opponent walking into the area, he
tilted his head lightly. He actually hadn't expected to see a
petite, beautiful woman as his opponent. When she smiled at him,
and bowed, he felt relieved. Already the first sign of honor,
and he loved it. He smiled back at the young woman, bowing back.
"Hello Venus. I am Kirain. Pleasure to meet you as well. Give it
all you got." His voice was charming and kind, since there was
no need for hatred. This was an honorable fight, with good
feelings to it. "Good luck, miss Venus." He said, standing back
straight. His 'Sword of Honor' shone brightly in the sunlight,
the golden hilt with the ruby centered in the middle, sparkled
brightly as well. As he stood straight, he felt the breeze,
seeing it carry a few Sakura petals. His smile turned into a
serious look, yet still kind of friendly. He wasn't exactly a
dominant person, he rather feel the fun and passion for sword
fighting. He charged towards Venus. She was a lovely lady, but
this was a fight after all. No time to waste. His mind thought
rapidly, since he had seen the weapons Venus was using. 'Don't
judge a book by it's cover', was all his mind was thinking right
now. He held his 'Sword of Honor' in his right hand, his feet
carrying him quickly towards Venus. As he was in front of her,
he used his speed to go to the right side, jumping about a feet
from Venus, his blade thrusting towards Venus' left waist. It
was a basic attack, but he had to see what kind of strategy this
woman would use. He wouldn't just throw out all his cards
already, of course.

This was her chance. Her chance to put the training she had done
with her brother to the test! Venus had trained with various
types of blades, but she chose her favorites for this event; on
her back, a one handed katana, and on her waist, a Kodachi blade
as well as an empty sheath. On her opposite hip, was a chained
blade with a particular sparkle to it. These were the ones that
suited her best, and with them, she felt confident, even
stripped of her abilities. Her small frame seemed almost
miniscule when she walked into the arena and up the stairs. It
was an amazing location indeed. And the pink Sakura, they were
absolutely beautiful! She admired her surroundings for a moment
before noticing her opponent standing against the wall opposite
her. She made her way to the center of the arena and flashed him
a smile. "I'm Venus. It's a pleasure to meet you, and an honor
to face you as an opponent." She said, before bowing. She raised
up quickly, realizing that her shirt was low cut, and exposed
entirely too much skin when she bowed. She was always a
friendly, and energetic person, but she was also well trained.
She could be disciplined when she needed to be, and this was the
time if any. Crimson red eyes scanned Kirain, and his weapons.
They were well crafted and actually quite beautiful. She was
excited about this match. He would be a strong opponent, and she
knew it. With that in mind, she prepared herself, for there was
no more need for introductions.

It had been a very long while since Kirain actually had been
fighting with his beloved sword. He had been in a time of peace,
until he heard he could fight again with his blades. A slight
smile was spread across his face as he passed the beautiful arch
and walked up the stairs. He already loved the scenery of this
place. The beautiful bright pink color of the Sakura made him
think of his home. A home where he trained and trained with his
elder brother. How he missed those times. Though, this was his
time, and this time he could shine again. He kept walking along
the stairs, looking around to observe. Like this, he could be
prepared where to land, hide, or use his tactics in this field.
After all, it was always good to observe the landscape and your
surroundings. Kirain had noticed the forest as well, smiling
lightly. A forest wasn't exactly his favorite place, but he
could still manage there. His thoughts wavered, wondering who
he'd fight against. As he finished the stairs, he looked around
to see the fighting spot. It already felt honorable and that was
what mattered to him. He fought for honor as well as his passion
for it.
He lowly walked over to the back of the area, looking up at the
tall walls. Huffing lightly, he reached the wall. His right hand
trailed along the stony wall, sighing a bit. This was it. It was
going to happen again. He took his Sword of Honor out of it's
sheathe and looked at it seriously. "We'll have good times
again, my dear friend." He spoke calmly, turning around to face
where the stairs were. Like this, he could watch his opponent
come up the stairs, and not be attacked immediately. He moved
his sword to his right hand, holding it tightly, pointing it
upward. His back leaned against the wall, as did his heels. He
stood completely straight, waiting patiently for his opponent.
He wondered who it would be, what kind of battle it would be.
The heat didn't bother him at all, so he didn't need the shades.
He did however pull his over-jacket off and tossed the red
fabric on the ground, leaving a long sleeved, thin, brown shirt
upon his upper body. "Let the battle beging..." He whispered, a
slight smirk now upon his face, as he lowered his sword slowly,
standing ready to charge, whenever the time would be right.

Round 1. Venus vs Kirain

The setting is highly beautiful. A small tiled cement arena is
all that sits in a small area next to a monastery. A large trail
of stairs just beyond the entry arch way that one would enter of
leave through. Bright pink Sakura seems to fall all around them
from trees that line the Monastery. Walls surrounding them from
all sides accept for the front way where the arch way and a
large forest sits below. It is a place of traditional battle,
and one where the warriors can fight with true honor of their
weapons. the sun high above shaded by the trees leaves for a
perfect cool environment.
