“I’m 9 and going to a lake sounds good because I’m thirsty and
thank you for letting me stay with you.” She was wondering how
long it was going to take to get the lake.

He sighed, looking to Kearstin, and nodded. Speaking again, he
couldn't help but chuckle slightly. "In these cases, she's the
boss.." He mused playfully, looking at Kearstin again, and then
nodded. "And yes, you'll be safe with us. How old are you?"
Glancing at Kear, Maru nodded and smirked. "Always on the go
huh? There's a lake, we should all go."

looked at Maru with a look of agree or else. "We are glad the
cloths fit you nicely. Is there anything else you might need
other than company? Don't be scared to ask us anything" With
Kearstin looked around curiously, wondering if there was a lake
or something close by. "I feel like swimming. Or flying. Maybe
both. Hmm?"

Sinopa pick up the box and said “Thank you for the food and
cloths. The food should last me a little while. Let me go and
change cloths.” A few minutes later. “They fit good and again
thanks. Can I stay with you and Kearstin? I don’t know my real
name because my mom died and my dad left after I was born but
thanks for asking.” She thought about leaving but thought it be
less lonely and she would have protection if she stayed with
them. She also thought she might be able to make friends for
once.

He nodded to Kear and whispered back. "I wonder if this'll
help.." He reached into his pocket and pulled out a box; tossing
it to the ground, he spoke again, nodding. "We have no reason to
harm you. Now, please, Sinopa, accept this gift. It's food, and
some clean clothes. As well as a symbol of a trust that we wont
hurt you without reason. As well, we'll do as we can to try to
help you remember, if that would be what you want."

has always tried to remember her real name but couldn’t. “I’ll
try not to be so skittish around you I’ve been on my own since I
can remember. Everything I come across tries to hurt or kill me

glanced at Maru and smiled. Then looked back at the little one.
"Please don't be frightened" Kearstin said trying to get the
girl to maybe feel more comfortable. "Maru, she looks so scared"
said in a whisper so the little one couldn't hear her.

Hearing the girl speak, the demon lord nodded and turned to face
her, trying to appear as harmless as possible. Tilting his head,
noticing the orange eyes, he spoke softly. His voice, eyes,
everything trying to show at least some acceptance of her.
"Hello, young one..." He paused for a moment, glancing at
Kearstin, and then back to the creature. "My name, is Maru
Bloodrose. This beautiful woman beside me, my friend, is.."

Sinopa peek from behind the bush and saw the woman looking in
her direction so she went back behind the bush and thought about
what they said and that they both said they won’t hurt her. So
she slowly crept out from behind the bush with her tail in
between her legs making a very soft sound of like a cry and said
“Hello”.

I hate then I feed." As he spoke she smiled and turned slightly
looking for the young one that was hiding. "So it would seem.
Come out little one. We won't harm you" Kearstin's voice was
like fire, warm and inviting. "You have nothing to fear, I
promise" with that Kearstin waited, her hair moving slowly as
she swayed to a nonplaying music and her cloak still moving in
the breeze that wasn't there. Though a demon she looked as human
as anyone else and didn't seem threatening.

He sighed, looking at Kear, then nodded and spoke again. "Yea
yea, same old song and dance. You're gonna die one of these
days, you know. You need to feed." Tilting his head, his hand
softly caressed Kearstin's right cheek for a second before it
dropped back to his side. Suddenly, his ears twitched and he
sniffed the air but made not a move. The scent wasn't one he'd
experienced before, but it seemed harmless so he spoke calmly.
"Hmm.. Kear.. we seem to have company.." His voice, though
demonic, seemed to hold a lighter tone before he spoke again. "A
young creature... fear enveloping her..." His two tails swayed
slightly, his seraphic wings pulsing slightly; the wolven ears
on his head, pressing down to his skull. "I wonder, if she's
afraid of us... or..she's timid.."
Turning, slightly, his golden gaze caught the shadow of the
encroaching creature and he spoke again, slightly. "No use
hiding. You wont be harmed, if you don't seek a fight."

Sinopa was trailing behind the two strangers looking at them
with her big orange eyes. Sinopa was afraid they would see her
so anytime it looked like they were going to turn around she
would jump behind a tree or bush and would stay there a while in
till they were out of sight. She would then do the same thing
again and again till she got tired and fell asleep behind a
bush.

laughed softly and then shrugged at his next question. "I have
no idea what brought me here other than a calling. It was quite
odd actually. Tavon and I are fine, thank you for asking." She
smiled at his curiosity, at times he seemed more cat then dog.
"I haven't been feeding. That always takes a tole on me, you
should know that"

life..." He chuckled, his own hair blowing like flames in the
wind as he looked to her. "So, any idea what's brought us here?
It seems unlikely that we're the only two here, after all..
How've you and Tavon been anyway?" He was curious, as always,
but didn't let it get the best of him all the time. He revealed,
randomly, the rusty but repaired TF pendant that always adorned
his chest. "What happened to you? You look..older.."
