Revi heard the stuttering voice and looked at him with a curious
gaze. Scrunching her nose a bit, she suddenly reached down and
placed her hands on his sides, hoisting him up and plopping him
down on the couch with a bright smile. "You'll do no such thing,
Izmarelious! You're my guest and there will be no sleeping on
the floors or in the corners!" Looking at him, she placed her
hands upon her hips and tilted her head with that sweetened
gaze. "Look, you'll be treated right while you're in my home..
So don't hesitate to ask or get anything you like.. Okay? You
can sleep in my bed.. Though if you're determined enough, you
can sleep on the couch. Either way, you wont be sleeping some
where uncomfortable. You deserve a good night's rest." Pausing,
those glowing orbs seemed to become a bit softer as she looked
down at him. "Another thing.. Is that you'll have to take a bath
at some point, and if you insist on trying to go out without
one, I'll throw you in the tub clothing and all and make you
take one. Because I don't want you getting caught, okay? Though
I'd plead with the council to release you into my custody, and
I'd probably kick a few teeth in, I'd rather you not have to go
       through that to begin with."

"No, no," Izz replied, frowning slightly at the affection from
       the young pastel-haired girl, "I...."
It was there he froze. He did not know what to believe: he did
not trust her, not completely, and yet there was something oddly
different about the woman. Something that compelled Izz to NOT
run away, and NOT fight back when she came close. Perhaps it was
the genuine smile that spread across her kind face, or the
gentle smell of femininity she exuded, or perhaps even the way
she paraded around with less clothes than she probably should.
"It... it is alright... I will sleep over here on the corner."

Pink strands befell her face as she looked down, shadowing her
visage. "People.. When I say that, I mean everyone. Including
creatures.. Either way you look at it, people is classified as a
population. It doesn't define a specific species.. But.. Not
everyone's cruel.." Her hands clenched around each other and she
gritted her teeth slightly. "Despite how it may seem that way..
Don't judge me the same way.. I'm not the same as them.. I'll
never be the same as them!" Liquid, it was hot as it ran down
her face and stained the revealed skin of her legs. "I.. Am
nothing like them.. But... I try not to judge everyone... If I
did, then.." She straightened up and looked at him with a sudden
smile despite the sudden tears. "I would've judged you just the
same and wouldn't have brought you here." Revi finally realized
she had gotten so upset and shot up off the couch, rubbing her
eyes and laughing nervously. "Oh I'm sorry! I didn't mean to get
so emotional!" She said, waving her hand a bit.
Though she saw the embedded marks in the wall and crouched down.
Reaching out, she tenderly caressed his ear with a gentle smile.
"You're not use to being shown affection of any sorts.. Are you
Izmarelious..? Well.. You don't have to worry about me harming
you in any fashion. I know it doesn't mean much when it's said,
not when so much harm has been done.. But.. I'll prove you one
day, that I'm not going to harm you." Standing up, she released
his ear and went to the closet in the hall, grabbing a blanket
and a pillow and putting them on the couch. "If you want to stay
here tonight, you're welcome to. You can sleep in my bed, and I
have some night clothes you can put on.. I wear a lot of male
clothing considering my first job. If you want to go with me to
work tonight, you're welcome to stay in the back of the stage as
well. I wont head off till much later though, so you might be
asleep. Either way, you're welcome to stay and you're welcome to
go with me if you'd like." She said sweetly, smiling still.

It took a lot of self control for Izz not to scratch the tame
one when her arms wrapped tightly around his waist, but the
temptation was all the stronger when she let go. The
half-catfolk's chest heaved with the shock of sudden touch, his
hidden claws dug deep into the wall behind him, clenching on for
dear life. He had just seen his entire life flash before his
crimson eyes when Revi had lunged at him...
But she did not attack him. For the first time in a long time,
there was no sudden strike, no need to defend oneself. It was
quite queer indeed, just having someone WANT to be close to you.
"Cruel... yeah, but people?" Izz commented with still baited
breath, "I have met a lot of cruel things, and I can tell you
this: you do not have to be human to be cruel. The cat tribes,
the humans, the dragons, the elves, and the gods are all the
same. All of them want something from you: it could be your
head, your sword, or your very soul... and then they will do
       anything to get it."

Ears seemed to perk up at the sound of his name, she quirked a
brow and tilted her head curiously. "Such an interesting name.."
She muttered, blinking a few times. Though as she listened to
what he said, she hadn't really paid much attention to him
undressing. Except when he finished speaking, that's when she
realized he had taken off clothing. Was it too hot in here or
something? Enamel soon drew in her lower lip as she chewed on it
slightly, so she wasn't the only one who had a troubled past.
Looking down a bit, she thought to herself before she leaned
forward a bit and wrapped her arms around his torso. "People in
general can be very cruel.. It isn't fair, really.. Especially
to someone who seems as sweet as you are, Izmarelious.." She
muttered quietly before she realized she was coddling him, which
probably wasn't the best idea considering most felines were very
prideful. Instantly, she straightened up and sort of flailed her
arms a bit. "Ahh! Sorry.." She said, scrunching her nose as she
pressed her fingers to her lips and her ears dropped.
Turning back straight, she rested her hands on her knees,
fingers curling slightly in a dismissed anger. "Humans,
creatures, and anything alike.. They can all be very mean..
People just don't.. Know how to respond to some things though..
My mother.. Well, she passed away when I was five.. Our kind
tends to become very very depressed and beyond repairable when
left alone.. My father left my mother while she was pregnant
with me and cared nothing for it.. Neither she or I.. She
literally died of a broken heart.. Myself.. I raised myself
because I didn't want to be like that.. Despite the troubles and
woes, I made it this far.. So.." She paused, looking at him with
a slight smile. "I'm sure I can make it further.. Even if people
try to drag me down, even if they beat me up and turn sour
against me.. And.. I think you can make it too!" She sure was
optimistic, that's just how she was though.

"I'm... Izmarelious," The half-catfolk explained, tugging
uncomfortably at the hooded sweatshirt that covered his frame.
It was warmer in here, much warmer than outside, and underneath
his shirt AND his armor he was positively baking in the heat of
an awkwardness so thick it could be cut with his claws.
Slowly, still watching the young woman who so openly talked
about her life, Izz lifted up the white-and-maroon sweatshirt
that had protected him from the cold to reveal a breatplate of
the same brilliant white, laced with red paldrons that seemed to
just appear while he stripped the unwanted clothing away. He
flushed a little when she talked about her strength, about not
wanting to be helped, and he remembered back to his tribe...
"It was too long ago, back when I was just a kit, back when my
mother died," Izz started suddenly, compelled by the woman's
openness to start talking for himself, "We were both members of
the pride then, abet just tolerated ones. You see, catfolk
generally are not allowed to breed if they want protection of
the pride, especially when it was with someone of another
species: they say it makes the catblood weak... So needless to
say she did not get the protection she needed."
"She died from the stress of raising me, and quickly the
toleration turned into something stronger. I was literally
chased out of the pridelands, and into a kingdom of men."

Revi was slightly caught off guard by the question, though oddly
hued orbs just turned to him with a slightly darkened color. A
smaller smile pressed to her lips as she looked down at them and
continued to bandage them. "Of course.. Well, most of these are
from the experiments they preformed on me.. I didn't mind them,
since I grew up having tests and such done to me.. But.. Other
ones are from people badgering me and hurting me because of my
hair color and eye color. Some people are just.. Really mean,
but, that's their own territory and I attempt to stray from it..
I don't like to fight when it's just to defend myself.. I don't
see a point if I can take the blows and the person feel better
in some way for striking me.. Because then, they get confused as
to why I just stood there and took all the hits, stabs, and
kicks.. Then they start to think about what they've done and
they feel bad, then I make them feel better by saying it's
       okay.."
Revi trailed off momentarily as she reached down to her bruised
and torn ankle, smiling still. "Some of these come from work
though. I don't like to burden others, so I take all the work
load I can.. Though the guys get mad at me sometimes because I
never let them help me.. They try to be chivalrous because I'm a
girl.." She laughed just a bit and straightened up when she was
done, looking at him with that sweet smile that seemed so
tenderly bittersweet. Pink locks shadowed her face a bit as she
sat the medical kit on the table and rested her hands into her
lap. "Either way though, it's fine.. I'm use to all of it now
and y'know.. It's not so bad really.. I fight when I have to,
I've taken down some people because they've made me angry or
hurt someone for no good reason.. I do what I can to survive."
She said with a slightly brighter smile as she looked at her
knees. "Even if it means hiding myself.. Because.. Even who I
really am, is too pitiful to display. Strength is everything,
really.. I have to have a lot of it.. So.." She looked at him,
only her lips and chin displayed from how her hair shadowed her
face. "You still haven't told me your name." She said, tilting
her head to show those burning hued orbs once more as she smiled
       at him.

Izz's cheeks would have flushed, if it were not for the wounds
that spread across the woman's body. They danced across her
flesh in a macabre waltz, and though they seemed scalding
against her freshly scrubbed skin, they drew heat from the
       white-haired catfolk's face.
And just when he could not think the girl would have been any
more fascinating, Izz now got to watch as the woman tended to
those same mysterious wounds. It worried him, watching the woman
bandaging herself, but his cautious side was replaced with pity.
"Um..." he stammered, red eyes averted from the pastel-haired
beauty, "Can I... Can I ask what happened?"

Revi quite enjoyed showering, she felt relaxed beneath the
scalding water that reddened her flesh. Ears twitched and fell
back to keep from water getting in them as her tail seemed less
fluffed now. Despite the sounds of the water clashing over
collapsed ears, she could hear the trace of his voice and
couldn't help but wonder why he hated showering so much. Maybe
something happened? Or maybe it was because he was more
prominently feline? Cats certainly didn't like water, though
despite the feline in her, she loved it. Once she had scrubbed
herself down to a cleanliness she could approve of, she finished
up and turned off the water. Quickly drying herself off, she
watched as her tail seemed to poof out and become a frizz ball,
it made her chuckle. Though she couldn't help but feel self
conscious about the scars and fresh wounds, bruises, and every
imperfection upon her skin because they showed up so much more
after the grime had been washed away.
Taking a deep breath, she wrapped the towel around herself and
dried her ears, tail, and hair with a blow dryer to keep them
from becoming curly and wavy. Once she was done, she opened the
door and watched the steam that was created with the clashing of
hot air to cold for a moment before stepping out to see him
hiding about in a corner. Quirking a brow, she clutched her hand
over the tucked part of the towel and went into the room,
crouching down a bit and looking at him. "So you don't like
bathing? And.." She paused, smiling softly. "I'm not 'tame', I'm
simply kind.. I do let my instincts run prominent when they need
to, but my intelligence expands past that. And yes.. Your scent
is strong, and it might end up getting you caught because some
animals would begin to get a rise from it." She said with a
small frown. "I don't want you to get caught... So take a bath
before you plan on leaving or going out.. Either a shower or a
bath, just clean up.. And if you decide to go, I'll show you how
to bind your ears and tail in a more comfortable way so they
don't hurt afterwards.." She paused and stood back up, smiling
at him. "The door has a lock and there's no keyhole, so if
you're concerned about me walking in or something, now you don't
have to be." She stated before she began to walk off down the
hall. "I'm going to get dressed, if I stay in a towel I'll catch
a cold and be even more embarrassed." Though she hadn't looked
it, she was. Slipping into her room, she quickly changed into
more comfortable clothing. Her long black t-shirt and
undergarments. Returning to the living room, she went to the
counter and grabbed the medicine and bandages to fix herself up
a bit more. Revi sat on the couch and seemed to gain a docile
and distant look as she stared at the open wounds and other
older scars before she began to work on bandaging them up.

"So she is tame, after all," Izz mused to himself while his keen
ears subconciously trained themselves to the only pervasive
sound in this sleepy town. The slithering of close, the padding
of feet, and then the sudden hiss and sputter of a shower coming
to life (to which he could not help but cringe). He listened
cautiously while the water hit something... else, other than the
       curtain.
"Too tame," he added under his breath, gazing around the room in
discontent, "Fucking gyser-pipe... That "shower" thing is
overrated anyway... There are plenty of ways to keep yourself
clean. Besides, is it not a good thing to have your scent just a
tiny bit stronger. Unless... Unless you are hiding..."
He slinked to the corner, eyes regularly going to the door from
behind which steaming hot fluids hit a tame body. A tame naked
       body...........
       ...

Revi took a moment to observe him. He was so... Cautious. Though
what creature wouldn't be in this kind of place? Tilting her
head a bit at him, she could see the fact that he was trying to
be more comfortable. Slipping closer to him, she leaned closer
to him till she was a good inch or so away, reaching behind him
as she locked the door's last latch she had forgotten to check.
"You're completely safe here.. But you don't have to force
yourself to be calm or something." She said with that same sweet
smile before she stepped back and gently prodded his arm with
her tail's tip, or rather, fluff. "Make yourself at home, I'm
going to go shower. Do as you please just don't go outside
unless I'm with you. It would look really weird considering
you're the first person I've brought into my apartment, so any
of my neighbors seeing you, they'd probably freak out and call
the cops or something." She noted before she turned on her heels
       and walked down the hall.
Pausing momentarily, she looked at him over her shoulder with
that same bright smile. "I have another job to get to later on..
But as I said before, you're welcome to stay here as long as
you'd like. You can even come with me and stay in the back if
you'd like. Either way." She said kindly before she vanished
       into the room.

The woman was quite beautiful... for a canine. At first, Izz
only stared out of caution, but soon it took all Izz had not to
just relax. It struck him odd that she could smile at him while
she told her entire, saddening story of alterations without so
much as the slightest curl of a frown. He strained against his
caution the entire time, torn between the faint attraction, the
twinge of pity, and the slightest amount of wariness. He did not
WANT to be concerned with the girl, but he could not help it:
was there something wrong with her, or did she just want to keep
       the pain locked up?
"'Preciate it," The cat-like creature commented, his eyes
darting around the room so he would not watch her leave, "It is
painful I guess, but it is a lot better than the other options I
have. I mean, who would want to get caught..."

Revi tilted her head a bit as he revealed the large ears peeking
from white locks. His words brought about a soft laugh from her
as she walked over to the bar counter. The thick tail swayed
back and forth as the much too large ears atop her head seemed
to just go their own way, one slinking to the side and the other
remaining perked up. "The reason why you couldn't really smell
anything different about me is because when I was a child I had
learned to genetically alter my genes to be that of a humans..
You see all the scars? Most of them are from scientific tests
doctors and scientists have done on me. So I had to cover what I
was to remain unharmed, rather, alive." Despite what she was
saying, she looked at him with that same bright smile. While any
usual person would find it saddening, depressing even. Slowly
she walked back up to him, seeing the twinging ears atop his
head. Dainty phalanges reached up and tenderly caressed the
       appendages with a gentle touch.
"It must be painful, keeping them hidden like that. Y'know,
you're welcome to stay here when ever you like. You wont have to
go out and as much because I'll be able to go and get what ever
you need.. So you don't have to hide yourself as much." She
stated simply before she released his ears and grabbed the rag
from her back pocket, rubbing away some more oils and grease
from her flesh on her arms and legs. "I'm not particularly
canine.. I'm canine, feline, rabbit, and lynx. Well, that would
be the simple description, to say the least, I come from a very
mixed lineage." Looking at him, those smoldering gold orbs
seemed to be more vivid than they were before. She smiled
sweetly,"Go ahead and make yourself at home.. Oh.. You never
told me your name? I'd rather not simply call you 'you' or
something. That'd be rude!" Turning on her heels, her tail
wrapped around her waist as she slinked off into the kitchen,
looking through the open counter at him. "Do you want something
to drink or eat before I go to take a shower to clean up?"

He knew the girl was different, but hell if he had expected
this. The half-catfolk's nose had smelled her oddity very
faintly when they had gotten close, as dilute as it was. He
quietly held his composure through everything, though he was
screaming inside. Without was dragged through a slightly dingy
complex, locked inside of a small, cozy apartment, and then
shown the sights of oddly familiar features on the young
       woman...
Familiar was a relative term, however. With the small,
nondescript ears and thick, short tail, he felt a little odd
indeed as he scooped off his cap and two large satellites perked
up immediately with a twinge of sore protest. "Smell me?" He
noted, sniffing the air with a light caution, "You brought me
here... because you smelled me? Are you a dog... I mean, I can
hardly smell anything different on you."

He was so nervous, it was sort of adorable. Thinking to herself,
Revi took a moment to reflect upon earlier moments. Looking
around at the people who were eying them both with a curious
gaze, she looked back to him. "Allow me to better elaborate
elsewhere. The vendors and other people are too observant." She
stated this before she lightly took his hand and tugged him
behind her at a fast pace. Giving a wave here and there to
onlookers, she soon pulled him into a smaller apartment complex.
Practically dragging him up the stairs, she quickly unlocked the
door to her apartment before any of the other attendants could
come out to the hall. She pulled him inside and quickly shut the
door and locked it before she looked at him. "You're hiding
something beneath that hat of your's and your tail is hidden as
well. Unlike humans, I can smell you." She said with a chuckle,
ears peeking up from pink locks finally as her tail was soon
wiggling from the edge of her shirt and whipping around. "I'm
guessing that guise won't hold you over for long, considering
some of the people here are actually really observant." She said
this as she put the bag on the wooden table and looked at him
with a sweet smile. "I'm Revi."

The bazaar was everything that Izz would expect from a human
settlement. It was advanced, full of odd "technologies" that he
could not understand and signs written in a script he was not
familiar with. It was also full of people, human people. Human
people who had been raised not to trust creatures and
       half-breeds.
However, Izz had more pressing matters it appeared. As he
watched the woman go about her business, he took note that she
had too started to watch him, and no matter how he tried to hide
himself, he could follow her eyes as the brilliantly haired
woman glanced over at him. It was unnerving, watching a person
       watch you.
Needless to say, he was much relieved when she approached him:
at least, until he had to answer her...
"Um... um... I was curious," He replied shyly, his entire body
tense and ready for flight, "Why are you wearing so little in a
       place like this?"

With the work she constantly involved herself in, she didn't
need the over abundance of clothing restricting her movements or
making her overheat. Many people never questioned her on that,
nor did they bother to attempt to drag her off any work load.
Judging by the scars that riddled her flesh from the many
operations, tests, and other various work events; many people
just assumed she was one hell of a worker. They never thought
for a moment that she was any different than them for that
reason. Shifting her weight to her left leg as she examined the
contents of a vendor's cart. Once she found what she was looking
for, she bought a canvas bag and then put the items into it.
Smiling kindly to the vendor, she nodded and was on her way once
more. Though she was well aware of the white haired male
following her, she just figured it was something of observance
rather than anything dangerous. Thus, she didn't feel the need
to be worried about it. Finishing up her shopping, she soon
turned upon her heels and decided to approach the male. Stopping
a few feet ahead of him with that sweet smile, she tilted her
head a bit and allowed the strangely hued locks to slip in front
of her face. "Excuse me, might I ask why you're following me?"
She asked politely, chuckling a bit.

By Izz's keen eye, he was not the only one that was different
around here. He could spy a girl from across the cobblestone
street, working hard outside despite the thick piles of snow
that filled the corners. Construction work, he could tell, by
watching the small, voluptuous form carry loads of lumber on her
shoulders that her larger and much more powerful-looking
companions had trouble taking from her.
However, it was not her strength that gave her away, nor was it
her sparse garb on such a cold day. It was the hair of pink and
orange hues atop her head that shone like a beacon, and the
golden eyes that met his as he stared only further proved
something was amiss about the young woman. Izz could almost feel
his tail, bound to his leg, twitch in anticipation as he
followed the crowd, and the woman, down towards the bustle of
what appeared to be some kind of Bazaar.
       "Interesting..."

Now Revi didn't really have to hide ears or tail, she could make
those go away easily. It was required because ever since she was
a child she had been tested on and everything only to be seen as
human. They even did a DNA test and because she had mutated her
genes to resemble more humanistic types, she passed as such.
Though now a days, they didn't bother her. There weren't anymore
tests, nothing that involved her being distrusted. She mainly
just worked. Standing at a short five foot four with a slender
but curvaceous frame, she looked like she could pass herself off
as one of the most angelic and innocent models ever used. Though
oddly enough, there she stood lifting planks and slinging them
over her shoulder, working construction. She often did manual
labor to help with everything. It was a good paying job and she
got by on it. When she was lifting a few beams and slinging them
onto her shoulder to move them to a different place, she saw a
visage of stark white. Stopping momentarily to look at the male
with stark white hair and crimson eyes, she quirked a brow. She
hadn't seen him around here before, had she? No, she'd remember
that kind of appearance. Shrugging it off momentarily, she
finished up her work and grabbed the rag from her back pocket,
wiping the oil and grease from her hands.
Wearing a pair of shorts with suspenders and a black tank top
with steel toed boots, she didn't seem to really fit in there
but then again, she did. Waving off to the people she worked
with, she started out towards the endless shops she had to go to
today. Though she couldn't help but to glance at the male once
more. Just who was he and why did he look so different. They'd
test him if he wasn't careful. Maybe he put dye in his hair? She
wasn't sure, so she just sighed and looked towards her list that
she pulled from her dirtied pocket. "Hmm.. What all do I need to
       get today?" She questioned herself.

It was hard, pretending to be "normal." In a world where
blending in meant your life, a being like Izz would not stand a
chance for too long. However, with a cap to cover your ears and
a bind for your tail, it was the perfect place to hide from
other creatures and beasts that were "less human" than you were.
At least, that was Izz's experience with this world he had found
       himself in.
Izz was entirely a being from another place. The catfolk of him
manifested gracefully in his features: a long, gentle gait,
brilliant snow-white hair and crimson eyes were all but
impossible to hide even as an experienced creature. While people
around him wore "jeans" and "t-shirts", he found himself forced
to go without his protective metallic plate, heavy boots, and
blade that he usually equipped himself with. He was hard pressed
in this world, always on edge without his usual equipment, but
at least no one bothered him when he wore much more usual garb.
However, despite everything, cats usually adapt. And that is
what Izz had done: in just a few short weeks, he had learned
that a white brimmed cap to cover his ears and a "hoodie" made
of cotton made his hybridized shape a little less obvious.
However, he was ever wary, and always tense in this town.
Even he could not tell if it was for fight, or for flight.

In a place of cruel intent, deadly sins, and electronic
upraises; the elder times now long gone to a place of savage
maliciousness. In this world of hell stood one place that had
long kept it's ridiculous traditions. Even ones that made peace
seem impossible. It was a smaller town but it was still quite
larger than most any village or any of that sort. Mainly
peaceful but things lurked in the dark in every place you went,
didn't they? The snow was heavy on cobble stone paths as people
trudged on and decided against staying in the warmth of their
homes, they wasted everything it seemed. They didn't revel or
enjoy anything they had, they just had it. That seemed to be the
most common thing around here. -End setting. Sorry if it's not
       good enough. >.<
       -Beginning of post.-
Revi seemed younger than what she was. Pink and orange hued
locks often looked at and examined for dye, but none was found
in the strands. Eyes of a stunning and smoldering bright gold
often examined as well to check for any diseases that were
dealing with pigments. People just assumed she wasn't right,
something was wrong with her physical health. Yet, she was
perfectly healthy and perfectly fine. Growing up with those
kinds of treatments and tests, it was hard for her to not be
socially awkward. Little did they know that she had a secret,
one that she hadn't told anyone! Ever! This secret would
determine her life for the rest of her days if she ever told
anyone about it. There wasn't anything she could do if she told
someone. She'd probably be hung or banished. Creatures weren't
allowed in this town, though many lurked in the shadows and
disguised themselves as normal humans. She was one of those
creatures. Many had assumed as such, but she hadn't done
anything to prove it, so they couldn't take her to trial for it.
Low and behold in the comfort of her home, she held a different
form. Her hair shorter, pinker, her body the same curvy self but
atop her head rested animal ears of some sort. Feline? No,
Canine? No, they weren't anything specific. Rather, anything
that could be specified. Her tail was too fluffy to be a cat's
or a dogs or even a rabbit's for it was too long. Her ears were
wide set and deep as well as really tall, so they couldn't
       specify what that was either.
She was just an odd creature. Many people honestly didn't listen
to the assumptions others made. Revi was one hell of a person.
She helped everyone she could, she never stood on the sidelines,
she risked getting herself hurt or killed for people. Hell, she
got up at five in the morning to help the fishers bring in their
call. It was something she loved to do. There was absolutely
nothing dark to her, she was innocent as could be, she was sweet
as could be, and she had a heart of gold. She was the most
innocent person anyone had ever seen, even the priestess and
priest said they couldn't compare to her. Revi never asked for
anything in return either. She worked her tail off and was
determined beyond belief to make a good day's work even better.
       That's just how she was.
