Cantus was shocked. It had forgeten competwly about the throwing
knives. That was the fatal mistake it had made. Lowered its
guard during a fight. Now it would loose and be out of the
competition. Cantus Watched the knife as it flew the small space
between its face and Kaidens hand. Felt the sting of pain as it
peirced the skin and muscle of is forhead.
The warmth of blood washed over its face as it flowed swiftly
from its forhead. The knife drove deeper as it followed its
course and peirced Cantus's skull. Then the dull knumb feeling
washed over its body as the brain became shocked and tramatized.
Cantus's body quickly became limp as the brains function ceased.
Leading to the faliure of all major internal orgins. ITs body
fell limp ovet Kaiden's. Devoid completley of all the life that
once flowed within the childs veins. As the last act of the
death process all fluids and waste were explessed from Cantus.
Covering Kaiden ina putred cocktail of Cantus's bodly fluids.

       Interruption
As Cuntus reached out to tag him Kaiden's eyes focused for a
split second and with one quick grin his left hand flicked open,
he was only inches from Cantus was it was. The beings right hand
was close to Kaiden's back and Kaiden's left hand close to his
face, though with the quick opening of his hand came the quick
release of a throwing knife he had taken from his pocket earlier
in the game, he wanted to play, he wanted to play and progress
on to play with more and more enjoyable and entertaining people.
The speed of the knife would be almost instant especially with
the distance between the two of them now, it was aimed directly
at the bridge of the beings nose, it was positioned to dig dig
straight through it's skull and into it's brain killing it for
       good and letting him progress.

Cantus was right behind Kaiden. Only inches from his back. If it
got just a bit closer it would reach. It would be able to tag
Kaiden and then it would be able to have even more fun as the
one being chased. Then something happened, Kaiden slipped. This
was the chance Cantus was waiting for. As Kaiden began to fall
Cantus caught up and reached out tagging the boys back. Then
darted to the left into a darker section of forest.
       "TAG YOU'RE IT!!"
Cantus looked over its shoulder as it ran. To see if the boy was
getting up to chase, and how fast he would catch up. But part of
it also wanted to make sure the boy was ok. That he hadn't hurt
       himself when he fell.

Watching the being begin to run he started to pick up his own
pace into a gentle jog letting the being catch up closer to him
before bursting into a full blown sprint himself, removing his
hands from his pockets he smiled and swung his arms back and
forth, though his eyes darted back to the being often making
sure it was still chasing him, making still it was still close,
otherwise the game of tag would be boring and he would lose his
       only reason for taking part.
"C'mon! You have to move faster than that or i'm going to get
away!" He continued to push faster, push himself harder and take
turns between the tree's that would seem almost inhuman, almost
abnormal and unhindered by the very structure of bones that
inhabited his body. He continued to look around his shoulder,
the being was still following, and it was at that moment that
his foot slipped on the loose leaves, his body contorted to the
left as he began to fell over, he would get caught in this game
of tag and it would be over, if he hit the floor than by the
time he got back up it would be near impossible for him to catch
       that being.

Cantus felt a small smile turning its lips up. It was finding it
hard to resist the calls of Kaiden to play. It wanted to so
badly it could feel its muscles ache with anticipation. Its
began to walk a little faster, its eyes hidden behind its long
hair. It stared chewing at its lip before it could no longer
       hold itself back.
With a slight forward lean Cantus began to dark through the tree
with precise movements. Kaiden had made a mistake coming into
the forest to play. Cantus was of the forest. It was home to it
and it could run only slightly slower than Kaiden without the
use of his wings. In the forest the speed of its wings would
hinder more than help. But Cantus could navigate though the
trees with such precise movements it was as if it were an animal
       born here.

He darted between the trees before sliding to a halt to look
over his shoulder, the being hadn't rushed after him, instead it
was taking its time. "Well this is going to be a long game..."
Looking down at his left wrist he felt sad to have lost half of
his toy, the chain and blade of the katar left back in the dirt
though he still had the wrist guard, which would at least still
act as some sort of shield for him.
It didn't take long before the being came into sight through the
trees and with a soft smile Kaiden jumped up and waved his
hands. "Hurry up! Your not going to catch me if you walk!" He
didn't care for all this rules and death of opponent stuff, in
heart just wanted to play, and he was told tag was the best game
       to play.
He then turned and began to take large strides as if mocking the
other being, meanwhile looking over his shoulder, both his hands
tucked into his pockets though the katar or his right hand still
attached, if not too attack then mostly for the reason of he
didn't want to leave both his toys behind.

Cantus watched its blade be pushed into the diet after the small
unnotable struggle between the two chains. A twing of discomfort
played on its face. A dirty weapon was a liability. It bothered
Cantus more than most things. But then it felt a small pat on
its hand. Kaiden yelled 'your it' before running into the
forest. Cantus walked over to its blade and untangled it from
the chain. Careful to keep its attention to the forest.
It unhitched its own chain from both the sword and sheath and
wrapped it around its belt. After that Cantus walked over to the
river, dipping the entirety of the blade into the stream.
Allowing the blade and hilt to be washed clean by the flowing
water. It began to walk to the forest, drying the hilt with its
short careful to wipe away every drop. It took the hilt in hand
and gave the sword a quick flick. Expelling the remaining water
from the blade with the force of the motion. Cantus didn't feel
right about the boys game of tag. It wanted to rush into the
forest and chase Kaiden. Join in on the game. It hadn't any
friends for the beginning of its life. To hold back from playing
the game of tag brought a ting of sadness to its face. But
something told it that's exactly what the boy wanted. So Cantus
walked carefully into the woods. Felling at home amongst the
       trees.
(can you make it clear if you took the left Katar with you. Or
if it was left on the ground with the chain.

He felt the tip of is weapon his against the being's sheath and
with a sigh he let his eyes follow the beings path, the being
hit the ground and rolled though he noticed at the last second
the way it held it's chain in it's hand... A quick yank from
that being and he felt his body pulled towards the being, and
with a childish grin he fell to the floor, his right hand pulled
right back, the spiked chain now on the floor and his right arm
       pulled back.
-={Can't work out how the chain ends up in front of me if you
pull it to you when it's below me... so sorry}=-
As his legs bent he felt himself slide on the floor, the spied
chain cutting the base of his shoes though all would come to a
quick end as he felt himself come to a sudden stop as his foot
slipped across the side of the beings sword and hit the guard
pushing it into the dirt. That would then mean the being's sword
was now trapped from usage, though he still had his green short
sword... and of course the needles from earlier would be the
surprise... He was down two weapons.... He was now at a large
       disadvantage.
"Hey... Did you ever learn to play tag?" Kaiden asked suddenly
as the chain on his left wrist guard separated and dropped to
the floor freeing his arm. "Well..." reaching out and tapping
the beings hand he smirked and then jumped back. "TAG!" He
laughed and sprinted off into the woods, the being would
naturally follow, but with it's sword now in the dirt it would
have to claim that first or leave it.. It's usage would now be
weaker either way as dirt on a blade dulled the blade and forced
the clean sensation it would have when cutting through the air
to become brittle and unbalanced, it's handle would be gritted
and slippery... But would the being notice that or would he just
do what any normal being would do?

Cantus was now flying at Kaiden with no way to change momentum.
Not way to attack now that its sword had been in the chain of
his opponents. Cantus glided through the air with seemingly
nothing to keep Kaiden's right Katar from lunging deep into its
hip, causing it to be useless. But Cantus had only let go of its
sword. Its sheath was still firmly in hand.
Cantus moved the sheath between it and Kaiden's katar. Holding
the sheath firmly with both hands so the shock would not cause
it to loose the defense it had. Cantus's momentum was to fast
for the thrust of the katar to send it flying back. It felt the
shock of the clashes vibrations buzzing through its muscles. To
resist the forward momentum of the Katar and Kaiden would put a
lot of strain on Cantus. So it did what came naturally. With the
sheath clashing against the katar Cantus allowed itself to be
carried past Kaiden. The sheath grinding down the length of the
       Katar as it did so.
Cantus was in free air flying away from Kaiden in a matter of
moments. The sting of the clash fresh within its muscles. It
could feel its breathing begin to elevate and knew it should
stay back for the time being. Its feet hit ground and it rolled.
Careful not to harm itself with the sheath or chain as it did
so. As it rolled back on its feet it turn to face Kaiden in one
fluent motion. Yanking hard on the chain hoping to whip it
around Kaiden to harm him. The chains origin was from Kaiden's
left wrist, he had attacked from the wright. Cantus had slipped
past the right in its tiring and muscle aching maneuver. With
the yank the chain would be warping around Kaiden's front. If
Kaiden turned to the right the chain should still manage to hit
into Kaiden's back. If he turned to the left he would be wrapped
completely around with the chain causing the spikes on his own
       chain to puncture him.

It was a cunning way to move indeed, he had to know the same
Kevin that his mentor had told him about, he used the same
tactics... He knew what to expect. Though as the needle caught
itself in one of the links he smiled to feel it stop the
retraction, 6ft out of it's slot the blade would be more wild,
he would hold less control over his left side because of this,
but at the same time with what was suddenly happening it was
       perfect.
The sword was coming crashing down above him, it was wielded by
a chain, it was unreliable in it's current state, the being was
in the air, it had no way to change it's course, it had no way
to divert the attack... "Bye!" He swept his body to his right
and jumped, the left blade and chain being swung upwards to
catch the blade and wrap around it, not to attack but just to
cause a close combat situation, and with the right hand he
jabbed forward with the blade, not aiming for the head of the
chest but the very centre of his hip bone.
The beings ability to flip or to pivot wouldn't help him any
longer, he was in the open with no way out of the attack, once
the blade of the katar had dug into his hip their opposite
momentums would leave the being losing the motion in his leg as
it would simply tear and shatter the bones and muscles... The
       fight would soon be over...

Cantus had managed to perry the hit so that it would flow past.
Kaiden began to swing his left katar, but wasn't it out of reach
and Cantus's body? Then the blade shot outwards and straight
past Cantus's body. Kaiden had missed his mark. The spiked chain
would be easy enough to block. But then the voice of a strong
memory chimed in Cantus's head. "If you should ever managed to
cross paths with a Yamato feel honored. Im not exactly sure how
many are left, but they are the only family we have left beside
one another. But know this, if you should ever have to fight one
take nothing for what it seems to be. They love tricks and
puzzles. Nothing is ever straight forward with a Yamato.
With this though Cantus knew to take the simple way of blocking
the chain would be the wrong thing to do. So it kicked from the
ground with enough force to carry it away in the direction of a
tree. As it flew a single black needle flew from its hair using
the momentum of the jump to throw it. It would not reflect sun
and would give little hint of its presence. But its destination
was a link in Kaiden's chain. It it could land its mark it would
hinder the retraction of the blade.
Cantus felt itself landing on the limb of a tree. The shock of
the clashing swords now apparent in its hand as it began to calm
itself. The limb of the tree bent and Cantus smirked. It used
the snap back of the limb to hurl it back at Kaiden at a
surprising speed. It let go of the hilt of its sword letting it
fall with the long chain while flipping. The chain pulled taunt
as Cantus flipped, bringing the sword down at Kaiden while
Cantus was still some feet away. The momentum of the full flip
carried behind it. The speed of Cantus's movement bringing a
       watering to its eyes.

The being kept just outside of his natural distance, yet he
seemed to make no response to the force he had been hit with. A
sudden decrease in his speed forced him to wince slightly as his
innards felt the force. Though with a playful nod to the beings
question he smirked and swung his left arm. Out of range of a
normal katar but by only a few feet, yet this is where his katar
was special, the blade unlocked and split from the unit as he
       swung.
The blade of the katar shot out quickly, so much so that it's
actual blade would be far past the boy yet the spiked chain that
link it to the guard was a perfted point to cut deep into the
being waist as it came round? "remember the blade hitting them
isn't always important... People will block the chain and then
the fun starts." Landon's words always flooded back to his head
like some sort of mental curse or maybe just a mental remainder.
Though one thing stuck in his mind... That name... Kevin...."If
you ever meet my brother... Kevin... Or hear of him.... Remember

Cantus listened to the boys words. Katars and throwing knives.
Seemed simple enough but the suprise is what got Cantus
thinking. What was it this boy could have that was so
devistatging he would want to keep it a secret. Cantus's mouth
moved as he returned the formality. "I have this stright sword.
A green short sword, and a suprise of my own." The boy stuck out
his tounge. Cantus laughed a little and its hair fell infront of
       its eyes.
The boy was moving forward with such astonishing speed. Cantus
moved its right hand to the hilt of its blade swiftly. Its feet
slid apart as his slightly lowered stance was taken. His blade
flowing from the sheath un hindered by the chain. It met the
path of Kaiden's Katar as cantus slide to his left, Kaidens
right. Allowing the sword to channel past Cantus while keeping
him out of a simple swing of Kaiden's other katar.
Cantus let a small from play on its face. "Can I play too? If
Kevin says its ok for me to?"

He didn't really care for introductions, instead he simply
walked down stream towards his foe. He looked at the man then
sighed softly as he ruffled the strange outfit he was given on
his way into this tournament. "damn it I'm fighting a pretty
boy... Or a girl... Or....well... I don't know..." he looked
puzzled towards the being ahead of him but decided not to care
       too much.
"told I have to declare my weapons.... So like... I have these
katars, some throwing knives... And a surprise if you get too
close..." he stuck out his tongue to mock the being before him
and then with a slight flex of his wings he listened to the wind
around him. "Landon said I could play when I win..." he smiled
softly to the other person and then bowed his head.
Flexing his arms his katars truly showed their beauty, the sharp
strange cream blades forged from the bone of Seraphs, the thick
bone wrist guards they attached too left his hands to be free, a
perfect way to fight, a perfect weapon handed to him from
Hyouzan... Said to be his brothers.
He began to step forward, along the river's side it was clear,
tight but clear but still this gave him his chance, he began to
increase his speed to a run, he had only 30ft left between him
and the boy, and with a single flap of his wings the ground
beneath him burst up in unsettled dust, his body lunged forward
with a speed that not even his mentor Landon could keep up too,
a small ripple of a minor sonic boom bursting from where he was,
his right katar pointed out directly in front of him, his eyes
       focused on the boys throat.

Cantus stood by the river watching the water flow. Its minds
thinking over the upcoming fight slowly. The water was flowing
to its left. Which meant that right, even if just by the
slightest unnoticeable incline, was up hill. Its black blade was
held by the sheath in its left hand. The long chain wrapped
around the sheath just above Cantus's hand. The oddly green
colored short sword secured at the back of its belt. The needles
it concealed within its hair were hidden in accents of black
keeping them from glinting in the sun light. This would be the
first battle it encountered in its new life. Against someone it
came to understand was family in some way.

The setting is just a very large endless forest. the fighters
will start simply on the edge of a river in a clearing. nothing
but all times of trees mostly Pine surround them. It is a hard
match to make head way and will likely be good for sneak
attacks. Use your environment to blend and continue on. I don't
know how much more detail i could add to the forest just enjoy!
