Surely this was close. He could feel her body spirit and all
lean and fly right past him with unknown speed. she had Side
stepped a devastating starter move. However Kayis had
anticipated such a simple offense and by handling the Scythe at
the blunt he had a lot more control with the weapon than had
been anticipated. The cut was almost perfect, she had lined it
up great and the cross cutting motion was placed in a way that
blocking it would be close to impossible. Kayis was known to
make the impossible possible so thats what he would do here as
well. Turning his body mid slash he swung the blunt end of the
shaft up quickly stepping backwards to maintain control while
slightly staggering. He just barely caught the cross slash at
the center; and holding both of the blades in contempt. Of
course there was a good consequence and he had two little slits
that ran some blood down his body.
The position was held for only a few seconds before Kayis
breathed in and adjusted the point of movement he had. He turned
his shoulder to her slightly and slid the shaft up the blades to
gain a better vantage point. Of course the way she guarded and
held him there would make a lot of difference for how this might
work. He stepped in however and pushing off the swords just
slightly enough to stagger he swung the Scythe horizontally now
just beyond her guard. it was aimed to cleave her in half and
Kayis stepped backwards even while slashing handling it at full
power swing at the very end of the blunt so if he needed he
could let it go. Of course she was inside the guard now and he
had lost the control he had on the scythe for blocking but the
sudden push off would likely stagger her enough that he could
get this swing in and gain some distance. If the swing did work
then she would be tugged in half by the sharp blade, but he
wasn't so foolish as to expect this to be the end. he had
invited her for this very reason..
The more the ecstasy of the blood took toll on him the more that
grin appeared. It was a known fact that swordsmanship was this
mans life and the fact that he could do battle with such a lady
in this way AND she could make him bleed!? he was past the point
of just enjoying himself. He had to remained focussed however
getting lost int he pleasure of pain he might try to end this
experience too fast. it was like sex really if you go crazy
right away you are bound to end much faster and tire out.
however if you take it at a gradually rising pace its likely you
will last long enough to get all you can from it. Kayis had to
pace himself and for now figure out which weapon he would use
next.

This guy was pretty fast for someone of his stature. He didn't
over exaggerate his moves either; they were quick and to the
point. No wonder he held this title and made it this far. But,
he has to learn one thing, never underestimate a woman. He will
learn this valuable lesson soon enough, but for now, there was
some need proper defending. As they locked weapons, Kayis had
let go of the weapon and added some force along with it to try
and throw the woman off balance. Akkarina, of course was
counting on disarming him, and spun along the weapon's shaft.
Considering it was wrapped along with her own weapon, she had
more control over his than he had once he let the shaft go. And
considering that the end was wrapped along the far end of Kayis'
weapon, he wouldn't have too much control over it anyway. So,
his move, pretty much put Akkarina in a position where she could
gain better grounding, other than giving him the advantage.
Continuing her spin, Akkarina adjusted from the force that Kayis
put on the weapon, which she spin in another direction instead
of toward the man, giving them both room and time to adjust, but
not much for him. Taking the bladed staff from Kayis, she
decided to take a chance and use two of her links as duel handed
weapons. The tall man came rushing toward her with a scythe. If
it's anything she know of, it's a scythe. With a grin, the
shorter woman crossed her arms in an X shape across her body and
moved in with a quick step to to flow past the man. With this
flow, she would be INSIDE of the man's swing radius AS he's
bringing the weapon down which would create the perfect
opportunity to uncross her arms and bring the weapons into a
cross cutting motion that would cleave through the man. With her
forward momentum, and his swinging the heavy weapon and the
resulting pulling back, this would line her up directly to
cleave through his abdomen. Of course, IF something where to go
wrong, she could be far enough that he wouldn't be able to
counter without her adjusting.

Oh how entertaining this all had become. He could see that she
was willingly taking the strike of his foot to gain some
distance between them. she even had enough time to discard her
two swords and reposition herself with an odd double edged
glaive. If Kayis hadn't been accustomed to the appearance of
such weapons he likely would have overlooked the idea that it
might be a chained three section weapon. Kayis had one of his
own, though thanks to the rules he had not been able to use it
in this tournament up to point. For now however was the task of
figuring out his next move.
The woman was precise in every movement and elegantly seemed to
dance towards him spinning the death as she stepped. Kayis found
his eyes moving at quickened pace where he would watch every
movement and then she began an assault he couldn't fully keep up
with. The first few jabs he dodged easily enough, however that
was the point Jabs as a starter always set up for a bigger move;
but what? Kayis waited then as the staff aimed to swipe but not
towards him, no this time it was for his own weapon. This had
been a tactic she had used just a few seconds before, and he
could only expect there was alternative reason why she did that
choice of movement. " hmm nice try." he said calmly and aimed to
connect with a hard swipe of his own. The chain connected with
his weapon and kayis smirked raising his foot almost instantly
to kick toward the large spear shaft and attempt to knock her on
her ass. This hopefully would give him enough time to get a new
weapon and begin again.
He stepped backwards carefully to grab a scythe that was
sticking from the ground. The wicked curve of the blade was
menacing at the least and the shaft seemed to curve to make it
easier to handle. Kayis held it in between his arm pit and had
the blade resting on the ground. He would take this time to
speak while staying on guard. "I have to say you are providing
me with quite the thrill if possible perhaps we might meet on
friendlier terms some day." he gave that same smile he was known
for then and moved forward aiming a swift strike downwards in
some attempt to cleave her in half if she were on the ground
from the kick. if not then it would likely have tried to
dismember her from the shoulder. If he did manage that at any
rate he would tug quickly and try and drag her towards him if
not tearing her in half in that second motion, it all depended
on how she chose to block him at this point. His other hand
rested on the blunt end of the shaft waiting for that counter.
+ Let go of my spear the instant you wrapped around it. Then
kicked at it to try and knock you down. +

Akkarina growled as the man caught her strikes. It seemed highly
unlikely that he would be able to switch weapons, speak, and
defend that quickly, but she didn't complain. She spent most of
her life training for battle, and battle and training was better
than sex for her. As the kick came, she decided it would be the
perfect time to get away from the man before anything else could
be administered. As the kick came, it had knocked the woman
back and, accompanied by the momentum was able to back flip a
few times to return to her feet. This maneuver would render the
man's other moves irrelevant, for she was no longer attached to
his weapon. "No chance that I'd forget.." The woman spoke before
reaching up and taking hold of a three sectioned staff. Blades
lined each side of the staff, including the middle section once
released. She didn't unlock the secret of the sections for the
man to see, but she could tell by the grooves and the weight.
Spinning the weapon in front of her like a fan, she moved in,
only to stop the spin just before the man and moving the in a
poking position. This was followed by a few swipes at the man's
own weapon, which would force him to try and block or counter.
With this action, a section of the staff broke free and would
wrap around his weapon. This would allow her to get close enough
by fluidly turning her body and unleashing the second portion of
the staff which would swing and head to decapitate the man. If
he were to find a way out of this quick strike, the staff would
swing once more then lock back with the rest of the weapon. She
would then spin back off of the weapon, which would prove to
disarm the man. Then, she would return and send two strikes
toward the man from the left and right sides, the swing to
sweep, then come back around for a head shot before spinning the
weapon and returning to a guarding position.

Her evade was more than graceful it made him smile as he too
stepped back and regained himself He stabbed his sword into the
ground to his side before turning and in the same time she took
to draw both of her duel wield swords he found himself a spear
that had a glaive like edge to it for slashing and stabbing. she
had gotten into position for her strike fairly quick and Kayis
only had enough time to spin the spear once between his hands. "
now this I can deal with!" he said with a sadistic smile as he
stepped inward and positioned the spear perfectly.
The spear's long shaft seemed to connect at the side of the
first sword slash pushing it aside and locking it there the
second though extremely close was blocked by the angle the point
of the shaft closest to the spears blade caught right underneath
the second sword to stop it in its tracks. The position was
perfectly set now the first sword blocked off to the side and
the other one held in place above his shoulder. Kayis jolted his
foot forward to try and hit her in the gut and knock her on her
ass. after the kick he stepped in quickly from the exerted
forward momentum. His body turned inward from the second slash
guiding it around his should and knocking the first slash off
balance so he could swing up and attempt to cleave her in half
with an upward diagonal swipe towards her mid section. Kayis
followed through with the spin making sure to push both of her
blades away from him as he ended the dance and placed the spear
turned in his one right hand blade toward the ground at a
diagonal angle the blunt end rested behind his right shoulder
and his head. "don't forget about all the pretty weapons we have
laying around that would surely be a shame. After all they
haven't been put to use in quite some time." he smiled at her
letting her regain her footing for now if she had survived the
strike of course.

The man was good. Very good. Even though these attacks were very
entry level and not very spectacular, he found ways to do things
in such a way that only an expert combatant would utilize; she
could learn plenty from him in the future. The man simply
whisked by her slash, moving onto the striking side, which most
who strife effectively do. This left her open to his attack,
which gave her little time to adjust. But, thankfully, Akkarina
had planned for a miss or some type of counter; they wasn't in
the finals for nothing after all. As she stepped through her
swing, the woman followed through and continued her pivot, thus
putting her in a dance like motion where she would spin through
her swing and return back to her initial position. This was
meant to put her in her guard stance, after the swing, whether
it connected or not. Because of this quick motion, Akkarina was
barely able to miss that counter; mere hairs at best. She could
feel the wind passing by her and the weapon even cut some of her
clothing. Had she been slower, or larger, that might have proved
to be a battle costing injury.
"Indeed.." The woman spoke, taking a few steps back to reset the
fighting position. She started to circle the man, inspecting his
size, weapon, and stance. She figured that her kitana wasn't
going to do her any good, she needed more speed. Discarding the
weapon, Akkarina reached behind her back and pulled out her two
swords and begun to twirl them between her fingers. She also
kicked off her sandals, allowing her bare feet to come in
contact with the luminous ground. Smirking, Akkarina bursts with
speed toward the man. With two strikes: one aimed downward to
intentionally come in contact with his weapon in an attempt to
throw him off balance and prevent any defense against two
strikes. The other pretty much followed that first strike,
aiming to come down and cleave the man between his head and
shoulder. If he had back-stepped, the attack would still be
somewhat effective due to her forward motion. Even if blocked,
the woman would opt to spin off of the man and come to a stand
behind him where she would begin her guard stance similar to the
one she used against Demonreach.

Tch..
Kayis smiled as the woman made her graceful move to basically
dance around the simple little slash. She must not have noticed
he had already discarded the shield for now some place else.
Kayis had set himself up nicely the way he had positioned his
feet, and now he moved in the same direction she did sword
passing by her as she aimed to do an ever so graceful strike to
his back. Still he couldn't allow himself to be beaten as easily
as that. His body adjusted to meet hers head on. Now he stood so
that he was at the side of her where the slash had been heading,
and had barely dodged the strike. " well done." he said with a
grin but int he comotion he had switched his sword to his left
hand so now as the tip of her blade rested just shy of his flesh
his arm farthest away from that point came in with a swift
diagonal slash aimed to make a nice little gash at her unarmed
shoulder. Kayis would provide himself the footing at this point
to step towards his left so he could maintain better balance of
his blade and face her as she turned towards him.
The beauty of the way he had done this proved that with
following the first slash with his unarmed hand it made it very
difficult for one to notice that the Blade master had
transferred his sword to his left hand. then with following the
direction that her blade followed to maneuver she would have no
momentum of body torque left to give the kind of pressure to
seriously injure him while he stood at that side of her. this
allowed for her shoulder to slightly be turned in towards the
direction of the slash which left it open for his sneaky left
hand strike. However this was but a normal level for an
ambidextrous swordsman like Kayis. So now he stood ready with
sword nearly defensive as he pulled himself back into position
and clasped the hilt with both hands as if to take a kendo
stance. " lets let the true fun begin aye?" he tilted his head
and smirked as he waited for her next move.

"Hmpf.." She started as she listened to what Kayis had said. It
was quite funny really, so she would put the man's money where
his mouth is. Even without her ability of Clairvoyance and
Presence, Akkarina was still very astute and aware; closely
gauging even single movement that he would make. The full moon,
regardless of it's color, would give off waves that help empower
Akkarina, giving her a slightly luminous silver glow. "That's
what they all say, yet there is always more to be desired.."
Akkarina stated with a grin. Soon, after, the man simply
vanished, or seemed to. His speed was impressive, but no match
for her own speed and agility. He was slightly larger and taller
as well, so that was an advantage for the shorter Akkarina.
Seems this would be a match of speed and power. No doubt, the
large sword would take longer to swing, plus that shield would
make it rather difficult to maneuver against a faster person.
She studied the man and adjusted her stance just enough to pivot
upon her foot, bringing her left foot back so that the man's
swing would pass right in front of her. Her hand was still upon
the hilt of the blade and with a simple turn of her wrist, the
blade was unlocked from it's fortress and pulled out with the
speed of a striking snake. The left foot turned slightly, giving
the woman an propelling force as she wasted no motion in pulling
the blade out to bring it across the man's body. This, of
course, was a direct counter to how bringing his sword up, so it
happened almost just as the blade passed her enough for her to
not be struck. With her lunging force, if he would be able to
get past this, she would be on the other side of him, which she
would quickly pivot upon her right foot to face him again, with
her weapon in a guard stance.

Kayis couldn't help but laugh at the way she approached this. "
well I have to say I never have gotten a complaint before so
guess thats in my favor aye?" he smiled and shrugged taking a
second to wink at her with one of his bright golden eyes. He
tossed his Shield a bit farther away; making sure to activate
the trigger that would make the Shield reject anyone who didn't
know where to grab it with sharp blades. he then merely swung
his blade to get used to everything and placed its tip down to
the ground before moving in with a casual walk. "I promise one
thing out of all of this you wont leave unsatisfied" his grin
grew wider and his eyes much more malicious before he was with
nothing more than what looked like a ghostly step; he was upon
her with intense speed and force.
Kayis first slash came in nicely as he aimed it swiftly straight
up her torso from between her legs. His unarmed hand moved
swiftly behind it getting ready for the following strike as his
feet made good to get ready to step and dance in this match. the
woman before him was quite beautiful actually had he his more
evil heart he would have made for much more entertaining stakes
than this in the chance he won or lost; maybe something like him
being her slaves of knight or some shit in exchange for the same
service of her serving him. Actually no he was much more casual
than to be like that though the idea was tempting even in such
dire situations. he would have prolly just fought for a date or
something. still for now he shrugged just waiting to see how she
might react to such a simple strike.

Just as soon as the man finished speaking, a bolt of lightning
struck the ground just before the man, emitting sparks and
smoke. The smoke soon built and slowly drifted away from the man
before Akkarina soon stepped out of it, this time carrying all
of her weapons upon her frame. Her weapons were constructed to
retain the strength without leaving her weighed down and she was
easily mobile. Her five foot four inch frame stood about ten
paces from the man as she studied him and his shield; which
could prove a more foreboding challenge for her to break
through. Tieing her hair into a loose bun, Akkarina decided to
keep her sandals on, for if she needed to remove them, she would
when the time was right. She assumed a stand, similar to that of
a samurai. Her hand gripped the hilt of her sword tightly that
was placed upon her hip as she watched Kayis intently. Akkarina
was hoping to make this as quick as the last few round and get
it over with. Final or not, this would be one for the ages.
"Hmpf.. Let's hope that you're so quick like the last one; he
left me . . . .Unsatisfied.."

Finally it was time to return to this temple that could only
truly be understood by those that lived by sword. Kayis had
dreamed to one day contribute to this place; that was still his
dream of course. Now he stepped forth and would find the time to
wait for his opponent as the eerie mist faded over him like a
cloak. he was wearing the Kimono that had been required since
the beginning but he let the kimono rest over one of the swords
sticking from the ground. " well well what a wonderful time to
do this, my woulds are healed and such long awaited honor rests
just over a shallow horizon." he had a devilish smirk as he
stared up at the solemn sky and drew his own set of weapons The
large Gladius like blade and the shield Kayis was doing so well
with. " now... I wait." he chuckled to himself and shut his eyes
sitting indian position.

+I will note that the title has already been decided this match
is merely for good nature of the game. Akkarina had stated prior
she has no wish for the title and entered only on my special
request.+
Arena~
"As warriors live and die still their blades remain eternal let
this the grave yard of blades be the final frontier for the
grandest of tributes to these fallen warriors. This I pray, as
Kayis Arel Asader!"
The realm is truly built of darkness and seems to harbor a
brilliant sky of midnight blue. Not so colorful as before
however. The stars can be seen and a single blue crescent moon
rests High in this forbidden sky. The odd part is when one looks
down at the ground they will find that they will see an exact
replica of the sky above as if looking through glass mirror.
only this time the sky is brilliant white with black stars and a
blood red moon. What truly made this place grand however was the
eternal decor. Millions of swords stuck out in all directions.
Blades of all types from axes to scythes to the true form of
katanas or knightly swords. This was it the resting place of
those blades who had lost their masters to honor; this place
that all swords shall rest that all warriors shall fertilize
this grand soil. this was the infinite grounds that Kayis
worshipped; and it would be here that the final battle of the
Blade Master tournament would take place.
This fight is between Kayis and Akkarina may they fight with
true honor in this sacred realm.
