Dems could see the weariness, chuckling softly at the effect
such a great fight had proven to be on the man. Dems, on the
other hand, barely felt the strain of exhaustion press upon him
but it was there none-the-less. He had to remember that this
title meant little to him and that the man before him seemed to
want to defend it to the bitter end. With an idle swing of his
sword the man bowed his head in respect to the worthy fighter,
laughing lightly as he closed his fist and watched the wounds
wash from his skin, taken over by fresh pieces of flesh that
instantly rendered the man anew. He did have fun, though, unlike
other fighters this man knew his techniques and used them well
in an open battle field.
He was saddened at the thought of not pushing this man to the
farthest reaches of his limit, but Dems truly didn't care at
this point. With a shrug of his shoulders he answered the man.
"No, I've seen quite enough for my purposes, playtime is over."
His calling was in another arena, on another stage. Events had
folded into motion that would soon prove to be a difficult
challenge for the man. "I'll be seeing you around, blademaster."
With that he turned, his feet spinning in the dirt as a cloak
shrouded his shoulders, the open Kimono he wore so elegantly
blowing open in the sudden pick up of wind that rushed across
the battlefield. "Real soon, I have a feeling."
With that, the dusty arena wind whipped his back, casting an
eerie shadow over the man as his figure dissipated into nothing
more than golden feathers. The match was over and this was his
official forfeit from the tournament. He didn't need any more
titles than he already had, and the thought of one more drew
wearily on his mind. It wasn't worth winning, but it was worth
the battle itself.
-Yeah, this was going to be my post before the three day thing,
but I got caught up with school work and so XD here it is after
the official ruling. Nice fight.-

+ due to rules that have been established since the beginning of
all of this the three day marker has been met Dems is welcomed
to write something up of him exiting while threatening Kayis or
whatever but the match is forfeit.+
On a personal Note~ I do not think of this match as a win and I
will gladly say that in truth Dems and I are on the same level
with blades the next match is merely for fun Kayis vs Akkarina.
But as I said Dems and Kayis are both on equal terms the only
difference is a title great battle bro. hardest pure blade match
i think i have ever had.

Damnit..
slightly off on that movement kayis found himself in quite the
pickle. The man was shoving forward hard and aimed the shield at
Kayis extended fore arm just barely dodging and taking a hit on
the tip of his finger, which hurt like hell from his baby. Then
a step in and the shield was heading fast towards him in attempt
to knock him on his ass. At this point his options were limited.
So he placed his footing in a much more adaptable position and
braced for the hit, leaning his unarmed hand shoulder into the
hit and taking it head on with his arm. Of course a blunt pain
hit him like a brick but it had be done. The man released his
shield and it began to fall but Kayis was not about to let this
opportunity take waste. Instantly his free hand swept downward
as his eyes remained up upon his opponent and the shield was
reclaimed to his left hand.
Kayis let the shield hang loose at that point and looked
directly at his opponent. " getting bored are we?' he asked
calmly and stepped forward slightly still ready to defend if
need be. He almost regretted he hadn't activated dead state
before the match had begun. Int ruth however he couldn't enjoy
this match nearly as much if he had. so in that regard he was
happy he had played upon his weaker level. " well I guess we
should play some more huh?" he sighed slightly and shut his eyes
weariness was beginning to take its toll on him, and surely Dems
was feeling it to. this match was basically even of course.

The roll was already finished, with the kick Dems was on his
feet and the opponent was moving forward directly into a
standing opponent with the shield at his back. Dems looked over
his shoulder and smirked as the man rushed forward. This guy
wasn't going to let his have his hulk, but Dems wasn't letting
it slip from his grasp. He watched, and as the Man's hand
reached for his own sword, he bucked in that direction, blocking
the attempted grab with a powerful jab with the shield into his
forearm With that block and his slightly shifted momentum with
the strike, Dems brought his sword up, stopping the attack for
his shoulder as he he shook his head. and sighed.
He launched himself backwards, and given the closeness his
opponent would have no time to move, and sent the shield back in
an attempt to completely blast his opponent off his feet. At the
same time he did this, he would release the shield and use the
opposite force notion to bounce himself forward and walk along
the way. He stuck the tip of his sword into the ground and shook
his head, giving the man his shield as he raised his gauntlet to
eye level and flexed his fingers. "Take your little bitch
defense then." He shrugged. "You where easier to kill with it
anyway." Maybe it was something about the fight, or about this
man's desperate attempts to regain this hulk, he didn't care. He
was tired of playing around.

Some how this bastard had blocked the sword slash but it at
least had given him enough time to rethink the following kick.
he had expected a Dodge of some sort but Dems had instantly used
the shield by some fucking miracle that made no sense any which
way to block off the perfectly timed attack. Kayis took a few
steps back now making sure his feet were firmly placed, he had
another moment of opportunity coming just as the man would
finish up his bull shit roll.
Kayis waited for it stepping in just as the roll finished and he
would try to find himself upon his feet. This time before the
man could dare to even move the shield from his back Kayis
grabbed the rising sword hand of his opponent keeping it lowered
as he came around fast to try and cut the man from shoulder to
hip in the front. There was no doubt if Kayis allowed Dems the
chance to keep that shield in good standing in head to head
battle Kayis would surely lose this match. The fact Dems was
just rising even in from the most perfect roll Kayis had him
good with the shield covering his back. and with the restricted
enemy sword held int he dismay the front had been open. Even if
this didn't work the strong grip of Kayis hold he would tug and
almost twirl the man out of the way hopefully disorienting him
if that had to occur, he had to play this way at this point.
Either that or he had to regain his shield.

Okay, Well here is my counter argument.
Seeing as I am moving ONLY my arm, the very momentum of the roll
would pull the shield along for me, seeing as we are not humans
and are allowed that kind of strength to wield this kind of
shield in the first place. I wouldn't have to pull the shield
up, my momentum of rolling forward would do that for me. AND
seeing as you aimed for me MID-ROLL, and I knew, as smart as you
are, you would take advantage of a weaker position like that, I
could maneuver myself as I rolled to allow my own forward
momentum to pull the shield up. I'mk not moving the shield
myself, the force of the roll is moving the shield.
AND THEN! I didn;t rise to my full feet when I did this, seeing
as that would be nearly impossible for the way I rolled, so
instead I leaned back, tipped the shield into the dirt and
allowed the force of the kick, you never officially declared as
an attack, not only break that kicking foot, but reverse the
backwards momentum and push me back forward onto my feet to
allow me to regain composure.
It's not the maneuverability of the shield, it is the force
behind the one wielding it, and seeing as I dove so fast from
that distance, the amount of momentum could EASILY carry that
shield through the roll behind my back.

+I want a check up done on this. Personally I don't feel its
logically possible to control a shield that well while mid roll.
at all so as usual three people come in and check in on this
defense and let me know if its acceptable. again I can't see it
happening.+

Dmes knew he had himself in a pickle with this move. It wasn't
in desperation in order to obtain the shield, but much of his
further game plan came out in this one moment. If he obtained
the shield, it was basically game over for his opponent, who
would have little defense for the multitude of attacks he would
have once he obtained this one bit of steel. He knew his
opponent would attack, there was no doubt about that, but the
timing could be anywhere from when he jumped to when he rolled.
luckily for dems, it was when he was rolling. Dems knew there
wasn't anything he could do if he was diving or even when he
grabbed the shield and began his roll, But mid-roll, that was a
different story. Dems had planned for that at least, and to
counter act such an attack, all he did was continue his roll,
and instead of keeping the shield in front of him, he let his
arm roll back and pull the shield up along his spine, forming a
type of shell that would make a loud metal cling when the sword
of Kayis connected with it. He heard this, and as he came out of
his roll onto his feet. As the kick placed against the shield,
Dems dug the tip of the hulk into the dirt and let the man's
foot crush hard against the braced steel of the shield.
He feigned distress with the kick also, after the man's foot
smashed into the fortified hulk, he let himself move forward,
turning with the momentum as he swung the shield around, moving
it to his front and laughing as he stood there, shield guarding
him from knee to neck, his eyes just peering over the newly
acquired guard, his sword resting on the top of the shield as he
shook his head. "Almost had me there..."

Now this likely couldn't get any worse at this point. Just as he
had almost grasped the shield Dems had taken it from him. The
Mighty shield , he had already planned for it to happen the last
time Dems claimed the shield. Dems probably had just had enough
of the shield being used against him. Kayis didn't take time to
try after he had noticed Dems grasp on the handle, instead he
was preparing. Then the moment happened and the rolling fucker
had made a good mistake. Soon as he began to roll Kayis stepped
in and moved forward aiming a swift slash precise as ever to
towards the mans lower spine.
The way he was mid roll would place him in a horrible
predicament. he had no way to see what was going on around him
and Kayis did. Judging an incoming attack or redirecting the
direction of the roll would be close to impossible. and Kayis
gained the advantage of untampered sight and precision. If this
blow would hit any sudden moves further from the man would be
close to excruciating pain. the bleed out and likely nerve
damage would likely place him at a point where he would either
have to accept a defeat or fight until he dropped with the limp
of hard moving limbs. Hard moving body. This had to be Kayis
chance here and now. and if that didn't work the precision of
the following Kick surely would send the man flying. A direct
course at his ribs with a heavy punt kick. Hell he might even
force the man into a b twist. in which case he would quickly run
upon him and place the tip of his blade directly at the mans
neck.

Dems chuckled at this man. He created quite the excitement to
rise up in his blood. Full of surprises! Dems had hardly
considered this his finishing move, but the man seemed
determined to stay alive longer than most the others. He had to
be careful on how he preceded, lest he found himself on the
receiving end of the killing blow. "Curious." The push flow and
unsteadiness that came with the territory of such shoves was not
unfamiliar to one who had studied various movements of martial
arts like he had. Drunken Monkey had been one of his most
favorites. With the uneven shove, Dems used the force to Ganer
(A forward moving back flip) himself over and then roll forward.
Just as the man was attempting to lift his shield from the
ground in an attempt to scoop it up, Dems launched from the roll
in a sudden powerful motion, getting to the handle before the
man and threatening his dominance for the weapon by swinging his
sword in a defensive motion to ward off all attacks.
Before his opponent could touch the handle, Dems hand took the
place of his opponents fingers and he took hold of the bullwork,
landing in a roll and taking the shield up as his own, turning
to face his opponent as he lifted his sword, placing on the the
edge of the shield like a roman soldier, ready for the kill.
(Me taking the shield removes the attacks.)

Fucking gauntlet was definitely going to be an issue and Kayis
could see that right away. The man had his gauntlet meeting
there right at the start to meet Kayis blade. Kayis only had a
few seconds to make a decision and think of a way to do this. It
would mostly turn to pure instinct at this point. There was two
ways of doing this one would allow him the necessary chance he
needed while the other would give him a 50/50 chance. The golden
eyes watched the opponent and then he made his move just as the
mans sword arm moved inward; the exact moment it even started to
move Kayis timed himself spinning towards the sword using the
push back of his sword vs the gauntlet to let it slide around
with him. His body ducked just under the blade as he spun and
pivoted quickly. His unarmed hand then moved and right in the
same spot that Dems had met his sword with gauntlet Kayis now
used Bagua zhang art of redirection technique to push the mans
sword much faster in the direction of the swing and throw Dems
off balance hopefully.
The movement of his shoulder would leave Kayis just at the side
of Dems shoulder. His sword hand free to move at this point. but
finally his free hand let go of Dems with a shove that would jar
him only slightly and Kayis made a very precise movement to
snatch up the shield and toss it catching it by its handle. He
pushed forward once more towards Dems now swiping the shield
towards the mans upper spine and neck. the sword followed with a
buzz as he prepared the follow up strike that would be aimed for
the mans chest unless he would have ducked the razor shield
swipe then it would cleave him right upon his chin more than
likely. the match had become equal again Kayis had to keep the
shield so long as that man had his Gauntlet that was a given
from the last risky move. Though in all the excitement he
hadn't noticed he had received a nice little cut on his back; it
had to be expected with such a risky maneuver however.

Dems Grinned, the gleam of bis blood stained blade matching the
shining light that reflected off his white teeth. They where in
play now, and the match had all but begun at this point. Dems
stood, his feet rooted to the one spot where he allowed them to
take hold, the golden earth beneath his feet the precious
treasure he could not release to his opponent. He moved his
blade, waving it slowly up and down as he took in every step
Kayis took towards him. Now, when the fight once more came to
blows, Dems was ready for anything.
He flashed, his blade glinting as Dems turned his body slightly
and struck the palm of his gauntlet against the lower end of the
man's sword, just above the hand guard, all while taking a step
inward to cut off the route of escape that was on the man's
non-sword hand. Dems sword, posed and ready, swung from the
gauntlet side of his body and slashed upward towards the man's
midsection just under his extended arm he used for striking. If
the man dodged to his own non-sword side, Dems would collide
with him, sending his strong shoulder into the man in an attempt
to knock him over.

Kayis listened carefully and smirked as the man made named the
sword. "She is a beautiful creation indeed, well then let mine
own meet yours in this dance we may continue now." He chuckled
slightly then danced back into position he placed his sword very
similar to the way Dems placed his own. Though Kayis had no
guard with his left hand this would be the test for him, and the
Gauntlet would prove to make this match difficult indeed. he had
to pick his moves much more naturally now instead of calculating
everything from shield to sword. " lets continue now." He said
with a slight bow of his head then it began.
Kayis moved forward swiftly picking his footing carefully to
quickly adjust if he had need. The first strike was one where
Kayis swung towards the midsection in a horizontal way. Kayis
readied his left hand to adjust the direction of the sword if he
needed to quickly. His body remained level only his arm extended
shoulder lowered just slightly, to start the real game with a
full force strike would cost him the match, he was not too fond
of that idea.

Dems Shrugged. "Admirable reasoning. I too have a fondness for
the closeness of battle when it comes to brute strength and
steel. Us two right here, huh." He shrugged. "Even if I do win,
I would still like to see how the finals play out." He grinned,
his smile spreading across his face like a massive split in his
face. "I have never fought her before... Goddess of combat..."
He laughed. "Such a high claim." Dems shook his head staring at
his blade as the man asked her name. He stared lightly at the
blade, watching the calligraphy etching at the bottom of the
blade glint with each tiny movement. Each one shone bright
white, black, and gold to dems, but to all others, the colors
combined into a red. He took in a slow breath. "Sorera joushou
no fenikkusu no shinuwa." He held the blade up chest level to
show the detail work. "The dying sword of the Rising Golden
Phoenix... Known only in it's first form as Feniku for short."
Dems tood a deep breath, lowering him into the ready position,
still looking unsteady as he readied himself. "Shall we finish
this?" His gauntlet hand slid out, extending towards his
opponent as he lowered the sword so it was parallel with his
extended leg.

Kayis smirked slightly listening to the mans words as he lazily
played with the sword he held, though not exerting barely any
energy at all. The man was entertaining in all forms even

blade " what is its name?" He asked calmly taking the moment to
let his simple breath catch the air while they shared warriors
banter. "Everything is aligned in one, Friends meeting in
battle. true challenges and arena obstacles that one must
utilize and over come. skill in its finest form. all the
different styles meshing against each other. and some damn fine
epic battles indeed." He smirked at the last of his words before
waiting for the man to respond.

Dems rose himself to to his feet, looking over his small cuts
that had already clotted for the most part due to his type of
blood. He shook his head, taking a very unsteady looking stance
as he grinned. Dems had adapted, and was now prepared for the
true fight, sword against sword, with the added benefit of his
gauntlet. He stopped his unsteady swaying for a moment,
chuckling towards him as he dipped his head, letting the eerie
darkness that casts from his hair shroud his eyes as he
shrugged. "Well..." He, seemingly drunkenly, stuck the blade
into the ground, leaning against it as if to brace himself from
his own unsteady movements. "I entered because it said the
best." He grinned, raising his chin so those devious eyes
sparkled in the light of the arena with a dark gleam of light.
"So I entered, more as an obstacle than an actual contender. As
as far as I have seen it, not many have learned how to overcome
their obstacles." HE shrugged, taking that ungodly looking
stance once more as he raised his sword, keeping it in his
right, non-protected hand, as he stared intently at the man
before him. "The question is... Can you overcome it?" Dems
fancied himself a brick wall, reinforced with years upon years
of experience in all types of fighting. Dems quite enjoyed hand
to hand itself. "Why put your own title on the line? Seems a bit
odd."
