Venus suddenly has become inactive due to this Akkarina shall
move to the next round.
sorry Venus try again when you have more time to play.
Grats Venus I will see you in the next round enjoy the second

As with most well made sword sheaths, there was a locking
mechanism that would prevent the sword from unwanted dislodging.
A simple quarter of an inch twist at the handle and the sword
lock would be disengaged. Thus Akkarina's apparent mishandling
of the weapon was actually a tactic that could very well come
into play later, if this would last long enough. Besides, she
still had plenty of throwing daggers strapped to her legs. She
stood silently, trying to gauge where Venus was standing;
without her powers of Presence and Clairvoyance, Akkarina was
forced to rely upon her senses. Smell, hearing, feeling, and the
sonar like detection that the water droplets would give her.
There was another trick that Akkarina had under her sleeve
though. The ground was wet, and that gave her more of a distinct
view point of Venus' location. The bop on the head did nothing
but anger the woman; only she played the head games in battle.
"Hmmpf. I have no choice but to toy with you. You still need
more work.." Akkarina mocked and smirked.
Though, quickly after that, Venus quickly approached Akkarina's
location. This is what she was waiting for. But, instead of
going into an attack or defensive stance, the woman, simply
stood there, as if the coming attack would be nothing for her to
defend against, or even worry about. The stabbing attack was met
with a simple sway to the left, which when the other attack
came, this action put Rina in the position of dodging it anyway.
The next would be another stab for the side that she was already
on. With a smirk, Akkarina closed the distance between them, but
she didn't account for the added intentions of Venus' assault,
which led her right into the Crimson eyed woman's trap. Now
locked at close proximity, Akkarina's word was useless.
Narrowing her eyes as she felts the hot breath of her lover
against her face and her sultry words, Akkarina shook her head.
"This is no place for you to be trying such things.." She
argued, trying to find a logical way out of this situation
without bringing her daggers into play.
An idea spiraled through Akkarina's mind, which spawned a smile.
The woman shifted her lower body, which was obviously stronger
than Venus', to the left. Using her right leg, she kicked the
right leg of Venus, which would no doubt cause her to lose her
balance. While this was happening, and if she did this properly,
she would then lean more into Venus, using her right arm to sit
across Venus' face, which would turn her slightly so that
Akkarina would land on top of her in a slam. Though, they would
probably be still locked together, it was no doubt that Venus
would be surprised, or even stunned enough for Akkarina to slip
out of this situation and return to a standing base. And when at
all possible, she would draw her sword and hold it to Venus'
neck. "Give up, Venus.."
(Note. This isn't guaranteed. This is if everything goes to
Akkarina's plan.)

Rina didn't seem to have noticed the objective of Venus' attack.
As she not only avoided the guided weapon, but attempted to
force it back at her. Was she playing games? From her next
actions, it would seem that she was. As Venus sheath flew back
toward her, Rina jumped to the right, and charged toward her,
stopping only a few feet shy. It was a distance short enough for
her blade to reach her, but holding it by the sheath shortened
it's reach dramatically. She would have to maintain her grip
close to the handle of the blade, or it's balance would be
thrown off and the blade would fall from the sheath. Meanwhile,
Venus simply extended her arm, allowing the rope, that Akkarina
apparently couldn't see, to guide the sheath back into her hand.
When Rina exclaimed "Boo!" Venus simply bopped her on the head
with the tip of the sheath before jumping backwards to put
distance behind them. This action wasn't an attack, as it would
do no damage. It was more of a warning. "Don't toy with me,
Rainy. "Her voice was that of an older sibling scolding a
younger one. As if she were trying to instill respect in her
lover on the battlefield.
Venus had been taking in the situation since their arrival.
Akkarina was able to "see" her because of the rain. However, it
was no downpour. Raindrops landed one by one, which meant that
Rina's "vision" was likely blurry. That would serve as her
greatest advantage. Had they not been stripped of their powers,
it wouldn't have made a difference. Every raindrop could have
been used as a weapon. But without that advantage, maybe a
direct attack was the best option. Charging head on, Venus
extended her sheath in front of her, as if to stab her opponent
in the chest with it. The purpose of this, however, was to keep
a proper measure of distance, and prevent Rina from
counterattacking until Venus was prepared to defend. Her second
attack would be a cross swipe to Rina's right side. Then
finally, a motion that would indicate she was trying to "stab"
her in the left side of her head.
However, at the last moment, she would extend her reach
slightly, making the blade go behind her neck. She would then
grab the tip of the sheath with her left hand, and pull it
toward her body, bringing Rina with it. Their bodies pressed
against each other in such a way that even rain drops couldn't
fall between them, and their faces mere inches apart, she would
speak once more. "Or is that why you're here? Do you want to
play with me, Rainy?" Her voice was less harsh than before.
Actually, it could have been seen as quite sultry. A sly grin
even played on her face, though Rina likely couldn't see her
expression. Venus always had a way of doing the unexpected. Why
should this be any different?

Even in the darkness that loomed over the area, Akkarina was
still able to find where Venus was standing, especially since
the water now soaked every inch of her body. The movements that
Venus made also contributed to Akkarina being able to 'see' her.
Not taking anything away from Venus, who could see better in the
dark than most beings could in clear day light. Venus didn't
seemed too shocked by how Akkarina was acting, that was no
surprise, considering they met and became friends under the same
personality construct. But, now, Akkarina seemed more forged and
focused, which was the same with Venus; something that made
Akkarina smirk with pride. That time away really helped both of
them. Or could possibly be their destruction. Akkarina didn't
shift her position, only her head as the woman circled her. The
movement was quick and sharp, Venus had made the first move,
which wasn't too common for her. The object that was thrown was
elongated and thin, it must have been that sheath Venus always
carries around. But, why would she throw it? Akkarina felt it's
travel as it cut a swath through the air, it's trajectory
seemingly to be a missed shot. That was until it was close
enough to her left side...
Akkarina shifted more to the left, pivoting upon her right foot,
which would cause the speeding projectile to just nearly pass
her. With her own quick motion, Akkarina tilted the bottom of
the sheath up and came into contact with the airborne sheath,
deflecting it upward with an audible 'crack' due to the forced
applied. As the sheath was deflected, Akkarina jumped and used
her sheath once more to bat the weapon of choice Venus used
right back at it's owner. The rope, was invisible to Akkarina,
so that didn't bare any mind to the woman. As the sheath flew,
Akkarina made it her best interest to close the gap between the
two, so she strafed to the right quickly before rushing toward
Venus, though only staying around four feet from her, just long
enough for her sheath sword to reach. "Boo!" She said, hoping to
distract Venus from the quickly approaching sheath, which would
have made it to Venus by now..

Venus loved that woman with all her heart. But DAMN if she
didn't have a way of getting under her skin when she wanted to.
Rina's demeanor was of no surprise to Venus. It was the way she
was when they met. Focused, determined, and uninhibited by
emotion. That could serve as an advantage, as Venus knew she
would be unable to separate her emotions from this fight. Empty
sheath in hand, she began to circle around her opponent, who was
a little different than she remembered. She wasn't attacking
forwardly, as Venus had known her to do in the past. It was as
if she was waiting for Venus to make the first move, which was
far from her personal style, especially without the use of her
powers. But if they were going to act out some role reversal,
why not now? Who knew? It could serve them later, if Venus
decided that Rina deserved it...
Venus fidgeted with her sheath as she searched Akkarina for an
open spot. As expected, she couldn't find one, which meant she
would have to create one. In a quick motion, she threw the
sheath in her hand toward Akkarina, a particular plan in mind.
The sheath was made of a special material found only in Atra
Directus; Enfused with special energies. And though she couldn't
use the abilities that came along with it, it was still
virtually indestructible, as was the thin rope that was attached
to it, which Venus had wrapped around her wrist. The sheath was
not aimed for Akkarina though. Venus had another target in mind.
Akkarina was holding her blade by the sheath, which made the
handle of the blade accessible. The rope attached to Venus'
sheath would wrap around the handle of Rina's blade, and, if
successful, Venus would be able to detach it from the sheath by
pulling it back toward her, separating Rina from her blade, and
tossing it off into the darkness.

There she was, the beautiful Venus had finally entered the
arena. Not a second too soon either. Even though Akkarina
couldn't see her face, she felt her Presence. Even without that,
Akkarina could practically feel each rain drop that pelted the
exotic beauty's figure, forming into droplets that caressed each
and every curve of Venus' body, much like her own fingers would
when examining that sculpted body. Akkarina kicked off her shoes
so that she could be bare foot; this was a tactic that allowed
her to feel more free, light, and to be in touch with the
ripples in the water. Even in the rain and with the wet ground,
Venus still had an advantage; she could see better in the dark
than in light, while Akkarina had to fully rely upon her other
senses rather than sight. That time Venus helped her out in her
'world' somewhat prepared her for this. Smirking to herself as
the woman finished speaking, Akkarina took the two blades from
her back and threw them into the sky, the weapons breaking the
sound barrier by creating thunder as they ascended in bolts of
lightning. She only chose to use the sword strapped to her hip,
which the Maridian held with her left hand by the sheath. She
said nothing, only rolled her neck and took a stance. This is
the result of being away for so long; the result of a more
hardened Akkarina. The time spent with her brothers really
changed the woman, some may say brought her back to how she was
previously before she let emotions get to her. She heard the
warning presented by Venus, which only got a small reaction out
of Akkarina..."Hmpf.."

Venus had wondered what her next fighting arena would be. She
had also wondered who her opponent would be. As she arrived in
the place a grin crossed her face. It was almost completely
dark. An advantage for her, a being who thrived in darkness. The
rain made her think of a special someone... A someone she looked
forward to greeting when this was all over. But to her surprise,
that someone was standing in the arena with her. "What the hell
Rina?!" She found herself exclaiming this mor and more often
lately. So her love would be her opponent? suddenly she wasn't
sure if she would be able to fight. Especially in a battle of
blades... Damned would she be if she put a single scratch on
that womans skin. The skin that she cherished so much... What
was worse, the rain was no longer a calming feature of this
land, but an unsettling one. Even stripped of her powers, Rina
was a creature of water, after all. Venus grabbed the empty
sheath from her side and held it as she would a sword. "You
shouldn't be here Rina. I won't take it easy on you." The words
left her lips, but she knew it was a bluff. She was already
searching for a way to defeat Rina without laying a scratch on
her.

Within a flash of lightning, Akkarina found herself within a
realm of darkness, only illuminated by a faint pink glow.
Akkarina's senses were keen, but even here, she had to squint in
order to see anything. So, relying on sight with be her
downfall. But, there was something comforting about this field
of battle; the rain. The soothing liquid caused the Maridian to
smirk; it was exactly what she needed. Being an aquatic
creature, this was what the doctor ordered. The water droplets
weighed down the thick kimono that she was forced to wear. So,
Akkarina ripped off the right arm of the outfit, up past the
shoulder. And, the left arm of the suit. And, split up the side
of her legs so that it now looks like a fancy dress. The water
caressed her flesh, damped her hair, and soaked into her thirsty
flesh. Taking a deep breath, Akkarina turned her gaze toward the
skies before closing her eyes, basking in the torrents of rain
that soaked her. Proving her with at least some distinct
advantage over the darkness that shrouds her. She has been
stripped of her powers, but that didn't bother her at all. She
figured this would be a true test of grit and skill. Akkarina is
very fast, agile, and flexible, so this could come in handy
against someone like Venus. Speed would be her key here.

The setting for this battle is an odd one, but one of the
Tournament masters favorites. Known as the sky of reflection,
this place is a sacred Place where it eternally rains. it is
slippery and a well established land with waterfalls that seem
to fall to a never ending abyss. There is one Very large piece
of land to this area that is surrounded in ponds at all sides.
The rain never ends, and is a crystal color that makes ones
reflection show in every drop. No light except for the brilliant
of a pale pink moon graces this land. The two warriors are to
meet in the center of the main land of this area.
