+Restriction to the body was ignored in Kaiden's Last post, all
effects of the body restraint and pull will be made effective.
Resulting in the evisceration of Kaiden, though only for the
match. he will return to the beginning area completely in tact.
Well done fighters. sorry Kaiden, try to pay a bit better
attention next time.+

Ohhhhhh the simple joys of a Klondike bar.. wait, where was he?
Ohh yeah, here in this field of sand with some child like
creature who seemingly had too much sugar to eat and kept
running around like a scared little dog. But Dems had him now,
it seemed. Everything had worked out perfectly. He didn't care
that the head wouldn't pop off and shower him in sweat crimson,
and he certainly wasn't disappointed in the way the child tried
to keep getting away from him so he could hide in the sand. Ohh
what a joy it had been to rush around this desert with this
younging, it made him feel young again.
But the boy was blinded by haste, more worried about his own
throat than the little surprise dems had wrapped around him like
wrapping paper on a Christmas present. And the twenty-fourth of
December had arrived. Dems had a death lock upon that katar, a
ton of force going into the stab in order to paralyze the man,
but it didn't work, he was blocked by some unseen object, this
"hidden weapon" he had seen posted on the board for this kid.
Hidden weapon, he scoffed, what a looney thing to have.
But then the boy, in succession, detached the chain from his
neck, shoving the broken links out and, in an attempt to once
more escape the clutched of the 'Pathetic being' he was looking
at. But the child, in all his sudden haste, moved too quickly,
not taking the time to detach the chain wrapped around his
midsection. Dems kept a tight grip on the weapon, and as the
child flew away, the chain tensed and SHINK! ripped through the
flesh of the child's tummy, smashed the organs underneath, crush
the spine into pulp and send the two halves of the once whole
child tumbling into the sand, where shock and blood loss would
do the rest.
Dems dropped the weapon in his hand once the chain had slacked
to the ground, no longer wrapped around the waist of his
opponent. Dems shrugged as the simple thing just plunged into
the dirt, and turning on his heels, he walked away, merrily
whistling a happy tune as he simply skipped over the next five
dunes into the horizon.

It was bound to appear as some point during the fight even
though he had hoped it wouldn't, he had worked so hard to hide
the hilt, he had changed it's original leather wrap so a soft
silk wrap that matched the colour of his wings, he had painted
the chain to blend in with his shirt though still this seemed to
only work for appearance. As the Katar blade smashed into his
back the sound of chiming metal rang out loudly as he felt his
body pushed into the air, a throbbing pain ran across his back
as he gasped for air.
As he rose into the air he swung at the chain with his left
katar, hitting directly into the centre of a link before
separating them to loosen the tension on his neck, and then with
a slightly change in angle he began to turn to face downwards,
his right hand pulling the chain away from his neck. A slight
frown on his face as he looked at the man with disgust that he
had to use his favourite toy to kill something so pathetic. And
with a hard burst from his wings he shot forward out of the mans
reach and onto the sand covered floor.
As the sand beneath his feet burst upwards with his landing he
reached his right hand to his back and grasped the hilt he held
tightly between his wings and swung it forward, the silver
sheet's that covered the front of his wings vanishing rapidly to
reveal a large double sided, serrated blade, it's edge sharp and
fine, it's hilt long with a soft golden silk wrapped around it.
His eye's focused on the man before him and with a smile he
lowered his body, he was around 6 meter's from the man, and the
second that man moved he would make sure it would be the last
time.

His eyes glinted with glee as he found himself very much in
control of the man's movements now that he had him on a short
leash, but dem's knew it would not be so easy to snap the
child's neck. This boy was quick and crafty, as he had learned
through the traps and the boys laying in the sand, waiting for
Dems to come find himself. So it came with no surprise that this
boy would know what to do when the chain tensed in order to
avoid strangulation or death. But Dems was always waiting for
something more to happen, a simple hand gesture, no, this tricky
bastard son of an abyssal would not go down that easily. He knew
the last name the moment he was told where to approach, this
contender knew his stuff.
The sudden movement caught Dems' eye the instant it was being
wound up, and the fact the man was only extending the one wing
for the flap told him that he was either flipping to the side,
or going to spin. Both of these would produce the same outcome.
Then the turning began and Dems knew he was spinning. In that
second he pulled his wrist back, allowing the blades to slip out
of the links, but still had a grasp upon the chain itself. As
the man used his forward momentum, he had forgotten how close
Dems was in retrospect to the attack itself.
As the wing came around, he let the links slip through his
gauntlet, as he let the chain attempt to wind around the body of
the man attempting to yank it from his hands. as the right wing
came around, the blade slipped from the ground, allowing him to
catch it in his hand as the chain slipped through and in that
second, keeping the tension on the chain already wrapped around
the man's neck and body, he slipped under the wing and sent the
Katar hurdling for the middle of the man's spine like a
lightning bolt.
Now, if this strike hit, the man would not only be mortally
wounded and paralyzed from the waist down, but he would also be
wrapped in a chain and left helpless.

The speed this man possessed was almost inhuman, entertaining
and thus made him the best sort of person to play with, though
he didn't seem to understand what he was capable of as it seemed
that simple manoeuvres like this were simply to look down on
Kaiden as some sort of fool. Though still the movement was fast
and there was no way to halt his travel, or change direction, it
was a simple case that it was going to wrap around his neck and
he would either choke, be cut to ribbons or simply die a slow
death... It was with that realisation that his smile grew.
Quickly lunging his right hand up he caught the chain as the
tension began to strike, he could feel the small blades trying
to slip out of their mechanism and cut into his throat and hand
but thankfully the sand had clogged that system up as well for
now... Though this was still not to time to think about silly
things like that, he was lucky not to be cut and so he had time
to move. He hit his right leg down into the sand and flapped
only his right wing aiming to spin himself along with his
forward momentum, doing this would either rip the chain from the
mans hand or drag him towards Kaiden... Hoping for the first of
the two as the man still had the Katar blade on the other side
of his chain which if ripped from him would remove the same
hand.
He wouldn't have much chance to do anything else though, first
thing's first, and that was to find the mid way point in the
chain, but to do that he had to get it away from the man known
as Dems.

The chain slacked in an instant and he grinned. He let his back
foot slide behind him slightly more to counter the sudden
release in tension in the chain and in that moment he was
already poised for a perfect strike. He kicked forward and to
the left, pulling the newly slacked chain as his upper half rose
above the man, avoiding the strike completely as he swung the
chain like a lasso around the man's neck, leaving little room
for counter as he ducked down and landed into the dirt. The
missed strike, with so much forward momentum, and how short he
landed behind the man would leave little to no time in order to
slow the flying speeds and as the chain tensed, the slack would
vanish and wrap around the kids neck in an attempt to snap it
instantly.

He felt the tug against the chain and with a quick pull from his
feet he smiled, he must have been about five meters away by now
which would have been perfect, he leaned back and with another
burst from his wings shot back at the man, the gauntlet on his
right hand letting the chain loose so not to hinder him yet his
left arm was quickly plunged forward towards the man's stomach.
With the added boost from his wings he should be able to clear
the 5 meters in less than a second, and with the mans sword
still sheathed blade he wouldn't be able to hack away as the
other hand was currently pulling the chain, and with the added
pull the main had given, with no friction now on the chain his
balance would be thrown slightly off. his opponent had obviously
hoped he would just hit the floor and not turn this back as an
attack, little did the man know who this child was trained by or
what his purpose was.

He stepped to the side, vanishing in a whirl of the thrown sand
only to appear beside the man, the knife wizzing through the
dirt to hit nothing but air as he sighed and watched the child
take off. What a bunch of shit. He watched the man take off
growling lightly before he noticed the chain whipping behind the
man. Dems rolled his eyes and clenched his fist. "GET OVER
HERE!" He punched, sending the blades of his gauntlet into the
chain links as he braced himself, twisting the chain so it would
wrap around gauntlet and deflect the blade attached into the
dirt with his sheathed blade. He leaned back and yanked. As the
chain tensed, the head start the kid had pulled him for a few
feet, until he caught and yanked harder in an attempt to pull
the little kid backwards and into the sand. "Stop running you
little prick..."

He continued to watch the post while waiting for his creativity
to return, he wanted it to appear sooner but forcing it would
only made it cheap and uninteresting for him, though he heard a
slight sound, something had moved fast and almost directly above
him... He smiled softly before he felt the slight tap on his
boot. It was time to play, But which game? Tag was his favourite
and it was definitely the easiest. Though he had so many other
games he wanted to play... Hide and seek... Bulldog... Though he
knew which game he would play, it dawned on him right then...
He quickly pulled his feet to his chest and burst his wings
outward sending a cloud of sand outwards as the feathers
stretched outwards to obscure his opponents vision if not force
the grit like substance into his eyes, and then with a small cry
he acted. "HUT HUT HUT!" He threw a single knife between his
legs and back at the man before bolting to his left, the chain
that was now hidden within the sand quickly whipping itself back
and forth as it began to follow him. This would be a slightly
different way to play tag... Sort of like football... But who
ever had the knife had to catch the other person... It was fun
to mess with idea's

Dems took a deep breath, focusing in on himself as he lifted his
one foot and then vanished suddenly as if speed had never
existed to him. With his focus on the perfect spot, he appeared
behind the boy. Sighing gently at the kid daydreaming in the
dirt before he crossed his arms and kicked the little boys boot,
just simply drawing his sword as he sttod there and let the tip
touch the ground.

Running across the sand dunes he pushed his hand forward, the
sand storm before him pausing for moment as he dug out a small
tunnel to view his foe, a horrible beast it was with it's two
large fangs, long black hair and crimson red skin… A beast
without a doubt and to think it had thrown away it's uniform! He
lunged into the air, his bright and colourful wings bursting
from his… No… Wait… A large pillar of sand burst from the ground
beneath him allowing him to land on a raised surface and look
down at his foe as the winds instantly halted. He knew it's gaze
would shoot up too him and he smiled, a triumphant grin on his
face as he made a heroic pose upon the pillar while pointing
downwards. "EVIL BEING!! YOUR LIFE SHALL COME TO AN END TO DAY
AS I!!! K-MAN HAVE COME TO RID THIS WORLD OF YOUR EXISTENCE!" A
large rainbow K burst into sight behind him as fireworks began
to explode behind him, the day's sky quickly turning dark to add
to the suspense…
Kaiden smiled softly as he continued to play with the thoughts
in his mind, how fun it would be to be some sort of super hero…
To fight evil villains for a living, win a beautiful girl though
not kiss them like in the stories… That's just weird… But most
of all he would have an awesome sidekick… He looked forward to
his uniform that had been placed and saw nothing ahead, and then
as he relaxed his eyes once more he began to think again…
Falling from the pillar, a long sword of heroic shape held
tightly in his hand he fell towards his foe, it would be a
dramatic fight indeed and only after he had won the fight would
he be able to go home and rest on his large couch while his
butler who appeared to know too much about him would bring him
drinks. Though suddenly a small man up behind the beast, his
hair silver and combed backwards, he wore tight red spandex with
bright yellow starts all over it, a picture of a black pigeon on
his shoulder… He launched at the beast only to trip over his
feet and roll into K-Man's path while scratching his head in
confusing… "DARKFIRE… NOOOOOOOOO!" How typical it was, Darkfire
his trusty sidekick… Getting in the way once more, he would find
this to be the start of some horrible torture he would have to
endure because of the foolish boy's actions…
He grinned again as he looked up once more, he still couldn't
see anything ahead of him except for the uniform, time was
slowly ticking by and he could feel the sand piling against his
body. Though what puzzled him more was why he imagined Darkfire
in the strange outfit again… He wanted a different outfit to
what Landon had described as the general clothes for that 'Stuck
up flame shitting ponce' but still couldn't think of anything…
What would someone like that wear?
He rested his eye's once more and tried to think what would
happen next though all that came to his mind was a large 'Next
time on K-Man' sign… He hated it when this happened, when his
creativity would run dry and he would be forced to concentrate
on something for a while before it came back, and so he began to
focus once more, yet still nothing came into sight… All he would
do is watch… And wait… Until… This Dem's person appeared...

Quiet contemplation, his body in perfect stillness as he took in
deep filtered breaths under his covering where perfectly steady
as he let himself mentally wander, now in perfect solace with
the environment. his mental capabilities tripled with his
meditation, every grain of sand becoming a seeming extension of
his self as he slowly extended his hands out in front of him.
his fingers waved solely through the air as he listened, his
hearing, as it was in this perfect meditative state, extending
past the normal range and frequency of all else. He simply
listened to the roaring sands moving through the area. His body
now moved fluidly, following through Ti-chi movements as he
grinned. Thirty meters ahead of him. The sound of the sand
pelting the sand sounded different, letting him know there was a
different material there. He followed the noise, moving his body
in a circular motion until the sound changed again. He could
feel it in the motion of the sand, the grains fell separate and
hit hollow. "Hmm..."

Who was his opponent again? Dems... Who the hell was Dems? His
mentor had spoken of many people in the past, Rilla, Kevin,
Gabrielle, Darkfire, JD, Kayis and Vlad but why had he not heard
of Dems... Was he knew? Did his mentor not keep a track on him?
It was annoying as he was able to remember most things that he
was told, and he felt like this name should have been one spoken
about but it wasn't?
He relaxed his eyes and kept his gaze forward, not everyone was
going to wait around for ever, though he was in no rush to
move... He was enjoying just being able to lay in the sand, and
even though it got into the feathers of his wings he was still
able to enjoy it's warmth. It was almost like the fire his
mother used to set up daily for him... It was comforting in a
strange sort of way.

Dems had once stood on top of a mountain top, focusing his chi
for over a decade, waiting in this shitty sand storm was nothing
for him. So that is what he would do, wait for his opponent to
stop being a pussy and fight like this tournament was meant to
be fought. Blade against blade. Dems stood, aggravated that this
child couldn't fight like a man, but he would wait none-the-less
for the child to grow a pair, his senses nearly perfectly honed
in calm contemplation.

He watched and waited, he was comfortable laying like this, he
didn't have to move... He didn't have to speak... it was just
like the days where he used to lay in his bed as his mother
treated him, all those years of how he couldn't move, couldn't
play, how he used to just watch a single spot and focus on it
for hours, he loved the fact he could now play and have fun, but
when he had to wait like this...stay calm in an area where he
could die if too hasty. Well... He was far too prepared for
this... Far too prepared and willing to wait, eventually his foe
would come to him... And eventually he could leave this
tournament and enjoy playing tag once more.

Dems stopped in his tracks, He had walked nearly 100 meters from
his starting position, but, being right foot dominant, he found
himself off course and ten meters in front of him, he thought he
saw the dune where he stared. Dems sighed and walked to it,
yawning with boredom as he stood in the sand and drew his eyes
closed, focusing his inner senses on the sounds around him as he
did what he was best at, simply waited.

He waited patiently as he stayed close to the floor, his arms
softly slipping out of the uniform, two knives pushed into each
sleeve to keep it firmly to the ground, only for him them to
untie the belt and with a quick swift motion he tore from his
back and waved in the air like a small flag, though as it did
this his colourful wings were revealed, on their front a soft
hint of silver covered each feather as if some sort of material
had been placed over them, though as he folded his wings tightly
to his body they became hidden, the back of his wings a dull
yellow not too different from the sand around him. The sand
quickly stuck itself within his wings, and although
uncomfortable was for the best during this fight. He nodded
lightly with approval and then pushed himself backward running
his fingers through the sand only to leave two knives standing
upright just beneath his uniforms position. It would do for what
he needed it too...
As he waited he heard the soft whispering sound of something
growing closer to him and then all of a sudden it was gone,
almost as if it had gone past him or over him, it was
interesting to think what it could have been, though still it
was not of importance right now as he had something else to
do... He placed his right hand on the ground and slid it
backwards slowly, the Katar sticking to it's position as the
chain slowly unraveled from it's mechanism creating almost a
trail which was quickly covered in sand... It was going to cause
problems in the future as this sand would stop the chain from
retracting... Though right now that was probably for the best.
His trail had left him to the right of where he had started, his
trail 10 meters long and curved around in a strange pattern
which would act to his advantage later, though he chose his
position perfectly. The uniform was thin and dark, it was hard
to see in this visibility but he got himself to the point just
before it faded from view, he was around 7 meters away from
it... this would mean he had a small gap between him and his
opponent during this fight, but more than enough for what he
planned. Pushing himself close the ground the sand pushed
against him covering his wings and hair, sticking to his shirt
and trousers... it wouldn't be perfect camouflage but it would
make him harder to spot... At least for now anyway.

Sand... sand, sand and, look over there!, MORE FUCKING SAND!
Dems walked into this hellhole of a storm and growled under his
breath. What a fucking joke. Of course, not only did he not even
get to enter the banquet and eat or drink for this fight, the
fuckling asshole of a tournament master decided to make it in
the fucking sand. Great choice... great fucking choice. He liked
the bright and shiny marble floors better than this bullshit.
Upon hearing the lovely arena, he had enough time to slip on a
simple, close fitting shirt that covered his body, much like an
underarmor shirt, that featured a decent hoot to help shield his
eyes from the blowing sand. He had on his normal martial arts
pants tied at the hip and his sword on his left side. His
gauntlet adorned his left hand and the boomerang blade rested
carefully in a sheath on his back, the leather straps wrapping
around his chest.
Through the roaring winds of the sands he heard a voice.
Kiddish, he thought as he simply shook his head, unsheathing the
boomerang blade and whipping it through the whirling sands,
straight at where the voice had drifted from. Then he began to
walk, saving his energy for when the combat was truly going to
begin. The sand made visibility hard, but not impossible. Bare
footed, one step at a time, if he considered where the voice had
come from the north, he walked northeast, midway between the
sound and the direction he would have considered his east.

This was annoying him greatly, not only had he been dragged from
the banquet so soon but the bread stick he had snuck out with
him was not being beaten and coated in a thick layer of sand,
and to make things worse he hadn't had chance to get a drink to
wash down the dry substance he was trying to eat. His stomach
churned lightly within him as he looked out across the area, and
before him all he could see was sand... Thick walls of sand due
to an irritating and untimely sand storm that would surly make
his fight more difficult. "Dam.." He stopped speaking instantly
as sand rushed into his mouth, what the heck had he done to
deserve a fight like this.
Throwing his bread stick to one side he lowered his body close
to the floor, covering his face with the side of his uniform his
shouted about his weapons so he could declare them and start.
"TWIN BONE KATARS! THROWING KNIVES AND A SURPRISE!" He quickly
began to spit as he felt more sand rush within his mouth, though
he had no idea who would have heard him over the blistering
winds and the sound of constantly churning sands.

The sands were unbearable the devastating. A Large sand storm in
an infinite vast desert. the two fighters would have hell with
sight. They would have hell with footing. It was a task fro true
warriors of the blade and how they would survive this challenge.
This is also me getting very lazy on the setting Get at it boys!
