Don't Starve Together

Welcome to the World of Don't Starve

You will be put to the test of starving winters, scorching
heats, and giants of all sizes.
The terrain is unforgiving and the monsters are even more so.

Rules:
- God Modding, Mary Sue, Gary Sue ( etc. etc. ) is absolutely
NOT allowed.
- If you or another roleplayer is caught doing so, they will be
removed from the group, the forum and no longer be able to
participate in the Don't Starve Roleplays or other additions
that may come with it.
- Characters such as Chester, Glommer (etc.) cannot be found by
any player, an announcement will be made of when they are
acquirable, where you can find them and if you character has
completed a certain requirement ( example: Glommer, waiting by
the statue until night time at the full moon )to achieve this
character. Multiple players CAN wait for the character to
arrive, and multiple can participate, one will be randomly
chosen to receive the "reward".
- Please keep the gore to a minimum, if you'd like to include
some things, please use a forewarning at the top of your reply.
Some people are not as iron stomached as you.
- If you wish to implement gore, or mature content, please take
it to another form of messaging such as private messaging.
- Don't Starve takes place in an older time period and their
clothing MUST match that time period! Yes it means research but
it also means a better roleplay for everyone!
- Art theft will NOT be tolerated on this website. You may ONLY
use images you have permission to use from the artist. Self
drawn things are great! Just don't steal. : )

Basic Guidelines:

When creating your character, we let you be as creative as you'd
like! We only ask that you apply these rules to your character
creation, as well as portray at least one canon character.

- Characters must have their era, personality, name, stats, age,
and a relationship tracker.
- Other things that may be included are height, weight, voice
claims ( etc. etc. )
- Your character does NOT have to be drawn by you, it can be
commissioned but it is strongly requested that you do it
yourself!
- Your character also does not have to follow the same style as
Don't Starve but is STRONGLY recommended that you do.
- A Starting inventory must be included of what your character
begins the world with. Some may begin with none, others may
start with some other valuable or invaluable items. This
entirely depends on the character.
- Please remember, the God Modding rule STILL applies to this
subject. You cannot be given a fire/ice staff to start, basic
essentials are fine.

We all love to have our own original characters, but here's a
few guidelines to help!
---------------------------------------------------------
- When creating your characters name, please be creative! Don't
use a stereotypical name or a name already used. We also ask
that their name starts with a "W".
- Try to keep the ratio of M:F balanced! We can't have too many
females and too many males!
- A few more than the other is perfectly fine! A 2:1 ratio is
more than okay too : )
- We ask that you follow this basic format for when creating a
character:

- characters name

Backstory ( we ask for a minimum of 300 words with their era
and place of origin included. )
3-4 bounses ( Negative, Neutral and Positive )

Please, be creative as possible! When you'd like to submit a
character forum, please talk to one of the Admins BEFORE
posting! We will evaluate your application, ask for things to be
tweaked if needed and changed.
