Combining Proviron (mesterolone) with HCG (Human Chorionic
Gonadotropin) and HMG (Human Menopausal Gonadotropin) is not
recommended and can be counterproductive, especially if your
goal is fertility restoration.Because Proviron is an oral
androgen, taking it while using gonadotropins like HCG and HMG
interferes with your body's endocrine balance. While HCG mimics
Luteinizing Hormone (LH) and HMG provides Follicle-Stimulating
Hormone (FSH) to stimulate the testes, adding Proviron can
suppress your natural hormone production and negatively impact
sperm quality. Here is why you should avoid this
combination:Suppression: Proviron is a synthetic androgen.
Taking it disrupts the Hypothalamic-Pituitary-Gonadal (HPG)
axis, effectively working against the stimulating effects of HCG
and HMG.Semen Quality: Exogenous androgens (steroids like
Proviron) are known to suppress natural testosterone production
and can reduce sperm parameters and overall semen
quality.Contradictory Goals: HCG and HMG are a primary
combination used to induce spermatogenesis (sperm production)
and restore natural testosterone production. Introducing
Proviron during this process counteracts the recovery
period.Because hormone stacks involve complex interactions—such
as the risk of liver toxicity, adverse effects on the endocrine
system, and cardiovascular strain—it is essential to consult a
qualified healthcare provider or an endocrinologist before
starting, stopping, or combining these substances.
