The best brackish water fish is, Redfish. Hardy, tastes pretty
good, fights like a freaking freight train and easy to catch.

I have 3 but only 1 fish. I have a bluegill I caught when he was
about an inch long. He is now full grown and if I forget to feed
him, he smacks the top of the water so I remember.
I need to redo my other 2 aquariums.

I tried keeping bluegill when I was younger. They were so much
stronger than any of the other fish. As he got bigger grandpop
was eyeing him up for the frying pan. I released him back into
the wild before he was eating. My grandparents love pan fish.
We used to vacation on campgrounds and ate the fish we caught.
It was fun and taught me a lot. (Those were the days). Now
we have all this craziness. Kids are frozen to iPads etc. No
outside playing. When we have are kids we will give them a time
limit on weekdays and an hour or two on weekends. Laptops etc
are where the world is today. So we will allow them to do
school work and look up educational things. We will put blacks
on everything.

Bro, sometimes I still grab an ultra light pole and fish for
bluegill. Normally for bait but still fun like when I was a kid
too.
