So there is Not a shortest of Pharmacist?

I've watched people get pissed at drive-thru windows. I never
form an opinion because I did not have facts. Then it happens
to me twice in two weeks in a row at Walgreen. They sent my mom
a text saying her meds were ready to e picked up. I pull up to
pick-up and they tell me out of stock. Both incidents I show
the text. Girl at widow chuckles. Well, we are out.
Last week I called ahead of time. Because I was working so I
awaited all the prompts. Being at work I didn't mind being on
hold. Well, I was on hold 1hour20 mns. I hang up go into
Walgreens and speak to store manager and Pharmacist. who is also
the pharmacy manager? I was very nice and professional. The
mangers told me they have a shortest of pharmacists.
Long story, short. I switch my mom to a small-town mom and pop
Pharmacy. My mom has not had a problem since. I think these
big pharmacies have no personal interest at stake and so much
business. They can't keep up with the demand. I'm sure these
incidents and piss off customers. All this together are burning
them out. no dought.
During my mangers conversation. The store manager said, these
seniors need to get with the times and learn how to use a cell
phone and its features! I asked her if she had grandparents? Sh
said, yes and I tell them every day. Being in the business, I
told her my job online pharmacy1-800 number abroad.
I told her I meet people who are blind, diabetic, paralyzed. I
told her if I had her attitude many who have lost their mobility
would never get their meds. My wife wrote a lengthy letter to
Walgreen district office. We will follow u with a phone call on
Tuesday.
People Suck. We will all get there one day.
I read scripture to help me with my weakness and sin. I should
of gave it to the manger:
John 21:18 ESV - 18 Truly, truly, I say to you, when you were
young, you used to dress yourself and walk wherever you wanted,
but when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and
another will dress you and carry you where you do not want to
go.
Anyone else run into this issue?

That really sucks brother.
I have not had that problem, because I get my meds from the VA
via mail or TriCare on base. However, I think that just seems to
be customer service in general anymore. These larger
corporations stopped caring about their customers long ago when
they realized they outpriced the small stores by so much, most
people are forced to shop with the corporations.
We have a local grocery store that I shop at any time I need to
buy something I cannot find at the commissary. I would rather
spend 10-25% more at the local store than give my money to
Walmart. Unfortunately, there are just some things I have to buy
at Walmart, because no one else carries them.

I think it’s usually better to use mom and pops if you can.
Sometimes it is difficult but if you want actual customer
service, the big boxes won’t give you that kind of service
usually.

Yea I don't have a problem. Where I live. It's when I'm back
home with mom.
My doctor writes script. I bring back from abroad. My USA
doctor says she writes scripts for her patients to get meds from
abroad due to prices in USA. My Endo doc is cool as heck. She
is from India. Very down to earth.
