Aren't green crabs invasive? Super cool, are you fishing from a
boat or shore? Could one fish for them from a yak?

Yes. The Atlantic Ocean. We boat to the rocks. Near piling and
structure. Yes they yay fish all day for them in the Atlantic.
When we ho out there is like 20 or yays out. This fish come in
just to feed on green crab. I’m looking out the window now snd
counted 15 yays. It’s great fishing

I'm heading out to Jersey to check on supplies. Her cousin has
a very large boat. We are going for stripers.

Nice we have striper hybrids here. Smaller but fun to catch.
About 50 miles away we have Lake Texoma which is a KILLER
striper lake. We are all gonna go this winter. Two of my pals
have center console boats. Never caught a striper.

So I’m thinking this lake your speaking of is Brackish water?
Mix of fresh and salt. I’ll be going out striper fishing weds.
I heard a hurricane is hitting FL now. Hopeful it won’t hit
Jersey until we are out of water.

Nope not brackish, higher salinity than most reservoirs but
still fresh water. Stripers will live in fresh water as long as
the mineral content is high. They will not get as big but they
will breed. Redfish from the ocean will live in fresh water as
long as it is warm all year.
