RLRZ Roleplaying Rules

Lets sketch up some rules. Feel free to post suggestions or
opinions.

NO WAR BETWEEN CLASSES OR AT ALL war=1 hour ban for anybody
envolved(raids are legal)
FearRP is in Effect
Basic Common Sense
-Do not insult other players, players props, players actions,
and other things related.
-Do not insult RLRZ Staff and everything above this applies
here.
-Do not beg for anything. For example money and powers.
-Do not **** about how our staff runs, how our server works,
these rules, and how our RP gamemode is. We have the forums for
that.
-IF under any circumstance that you end up in an argument with
our staff, please keep your language normal and not all ****ING
CAPS.
-In an argument, both players do NOT have any right to hurt one
another, prop push, purposely become Hitman to kill them, and if
the player is a staff member, use their powers against the other
player.
-Do not make suggestive props or contraptions.
-Dont play smartass with these rules, even if we may miss a rule
or you may "read" a rule differently, depending on the situation
and which rule you broke, you will be punished.
-Propblock, Proppush, Propclimb, hurting, obstructing, or
anything to hinder a another player via a prop or object is
against the rules.
-Players should not spam nades unless the player is 100% sure
than there are no players in the area that may be hurt by the
explosion
-Do not use Hacks, Aimbots, or anything that gives a player an
advantage over another player.
-Another For a base you need a keypad for a fading door you may
only have 3.
RDM
-RDM is when someone were to kill you for the following reasons:
--For Fun
--Revenge
--For being insulted
--"Accidental"
-Getting killed by a Hitman is NOT RDM unless he was not hired
to do so.
-Getting shot by ANY law enforcement officer while being wanted
is NOT RDM. This only applies if the wanted player is shooting
back.
-You cannot shoot law enforcement if they are entering your home
WITH a warrant. "Regular Checks" are legal and is encouraged to
increase the importance of the law enforcement role (because
most people just become cops to stun stick people and we dont
want that).
-Giving hits for under $100. It's RDM, you wouldn't do it in
real life. (RP - Role Play.)
First time this happens you will get a warning. If you RDM
again, you will be kicked. After this point, you can either be
banned or kicked again.
NLR (New Life Rule)
-NLR is in effect the moment you respawn. NLR lasts for 3
minutes and I plan on having our developers code a timer than
initiates the moment you respawn. under SOME circumstances you
may die accidentally from falling a great height or getting
shot. IF you consider it an accident and have no intention to
kill that person if he killed you accidentally, it is not
considered NLR.
-Killing someone while NLR is in effect is considered RDM.
-Killing someone IN NLR is considered RDM.
-You may not return to the place you died (Unless on a street,
basically no returning to a raid, your base, or wherever you
died excluding public areas)
Roleplay
-/ooc is used for out of character chat and to talk to someone
over long distances. Do not use this for reporting players,
advertising, promoting hitman jobs, and other things related to
roleplay. This rule is not enforced but is recommended to keep
the /OOC chat cleaner and not a bunch of bullcrap.
-Players who choose to be government must do their job correctly
and to actually do their job. Law enforcement is not an excuse
to randomly arrest people just because they threw a antlion bait
at your face.
-Stripping Illegal weapons from players is illegal unless if the
person has a warrant.
-Cops have the right to self defence and use any firearm (may
change). This is when the cop feels he/she is in danger and
requires evasive action.
-Robbers, Bombers, Terrorists alike should be having at least a
few minutes between raids to give players a chance to recover.
Dont be an **** and raid the same guy twice or more than once
over a period of time.
-Follow the governments orders. That also means that the mayor
shouldn't be making stupid rules about having to give $50 to
him/her.
-Even though a zombie uprising is happening, doesn't mean you
become a soldier and just mow down a spawn point. Actually
roleplay or we will change the zombies to combines (Im not
kidding).
-Law enforcement should not abuse their equipment such as
randomly batter ramming doors (if the door is unowned then
sure), tazing random players, stunsticking players to death,
randomly arresting, and forcing players to give up money to
higher authority.
-There should be at either at least 1 mayor or 1 police chief so
they can confirm search warrant requests and place wanted status
on players.
-Being a zombie ALLOWS you to attack players on the street but
they are allowed to shoot back in the event that you are
"threatening" them. Other than that, zombies can join among the
survivors in a cafe or something (MAY BE REMOVED).
-Roleplay names are recommended because it doesnt make the chat
look like this (This also counts for staff too unless they are
moderating)
-You must /advert RAID on the person or group your raiding
-If your planning to build a fort in the air do not have it
float. Bases in the air require supports.
-Only own ONE building you wont own 5 houses in real life so why
in the game?(EXAMPLE 1 hotel room)
-Do terrorist go around killing everycop or somebody they see NO
then dont do it(even once and a while)
-Do not block the road so people have to go around the entire
map its not fair and its not proper RP
Metagame
- Metagaming is defined as using Out Of Character(OOC)
information for RP purposes. Such as knowing someones job by
looking at them, or taking stuff people say in OOC into RP.
- Police or Government can't launch a raid based on what you say
in OOC.
- You can call people by their names, that's fine, just not by
their Job Title. If this wasn't here, then a terrorist would be
an AOS (Arrest on Sight) because of it's title.
Jobs that can't raid.
-Any Dealing related Job (Gun Dealer, Black Market Dealer, etc.)
-Medic
-Hobo
-Mayor
-Citizen
Car Rules
-No ramming others
-Can be ticketed or arrested for having it on the side of the
road
-Do not attach things to ur car or it will be removed
-Do not freeze ur car so noone can drive it
-If your car is stolen dont pick it up and whip it
around(bannable)
