Hi everyone and welcome to Fantasy League Football. There will
two seasons running side by side for Rugby League Live 2 & the
World Cup Edition.
If you have both versions you are welcomed to play in both.
The first thing you need to do is choose a team or create a new
team. Your teams roster will be empty.
We will be having a draft where each person will pick a back and
a forward each round lasting 12 rounds.
The draft order will be firstly be in the order members signed
up for the NRL Seasons. If your name isn't featured then add it
and name your team!
The selection process will be limited to NRL players for the
first season and will be 2 players per round; a Forward and a
Back.
The first season of both Fantasy Leagues will feature 10 teams
per league and a 6 team finals format.
Finals Layout
Week 1
Game 1: 1st vs 2nd (Winner into Grand Final)
Game 2: 3rd vs 4th (Winner plays Loser of game 1; Loser plays
winner of Game 3)
Game 3: 5th vs 6th (Winner plays loser of game 2; loser
eliminated)
Week 2
Game 4: Winner Game 3 vs Loser Game 2 (Loser eliminated; Winner
Ranked 3rd)
Game 5: Loser Game 1 vs Winner Game 2 (Winner into Grand Final;
Loser plays
Week 3
Grand Final: Winner Game 1 vs Winner Game 5
In this format the top 2 positions are rewarded with a Grand
Final berth after a game.
Top 4 finishers can not be eliminated in week one
One flaw is 5th and 6th have no chance at making the Grand
Final; they can only play off for 3rd. I need a better
format..... any suggestions?
More information will follow.
