Good score really close match thanks both coaches for subbing in
and getting the games done. Just one more game left to be done

Souths V Newcastle round 3
Two teams desparate for a win saw a battle of defence in this
game. Both sides holding each other out from the tryline in
repeated sets of six.
Souths went to the break up 12 points to 4.
In the middle of the second half the scores drew back to even.
But souths lifted a gear to pull a couple of tries away. A late
charge by Newcastle was snubbed out at souths repeatedly holding
the Nova Castrians up in goal four times with brilliant defence.

After the game Big Willy Mason was heard to say it was the
toughest game he had ever played outside of Origin.
