Injuries were Mateo for the Warriors and Simmons for the
       Panthers.
Panthers got off to a good start with two quick tries to lead
12-nil. Warriors fought there way back to tie the scores 36 all.
The following set, on 5th tackle, a silly penalty was given away
for a high tackle, James Maloney successfully converted the
penalty goal to take the lead in the 75th minute. But a big
game-changing shoulder charge by a Penrith forward forced the
ball loose, and Luke Walsh didn't disappoint scoring the try
under the sticks from a well placed grubber. Warriors short
kick-off attempt was unsuccessful as the Panthers held onto the
ball for the final set of six to win 42-38.
Didn't get a screenie of the full-time scoreboard sorry,
       hopefully Saucy did.

Wow woulda liked to been at that game! Love the shoulder charge
as a game changer. Puts a lot on the line, but can have great
       results.

Penrith defeat Warriors in New Zealand
The round 2 match between the Warriors and Panthers has been
tarnished by a lag filled contest at Mt Smart Stadium. The
Panthers came into this match as outsiders due to a shocking
performance against the Parramatta Eels in round 1 but managed
to bounce back and claim at late try in the second half to win
       42-38.
The Panthers took the early advantage with two early tries and
managed to hold the the margin going into the sheds at 24-12.
The second half saw a Warriors fight back with the devastating
combination of Hurrell and Vatuvei causing problems for the
       Penrith side.
The Warriors managed to bring the scores level at 36 all around
the 70th minute mark and took the lead with a penalty goal for a
high shot from Michael Jennings. The Panthers kicked off with
under 10 minutes to go and took possession after a big hit
forced the ball loose from a Warriors player which eventually
led to a try and the Kiwis never saw the ball again going down
       in a close one.
Penrith coach said "We were lucky to get away with that one, we
led early against the Eels as well and let that slip and I was
worried we were about to do it again. The game was unfortunately
a laggy one however in is something both teams must deal with
and the luck went our way this time so we will take it."
The Panthers will face the Sharks in Round 3
Injuries: David Simmons (Panthers) Feleti Mateo (Warriors)

Note: Warriors missed a goal kick however both players agree the
goal should have been awarded and therefore the Warriors final
       score is 38 not 36

Thanks for those pictures, SZaucy. It was only lagging during
your first try in the 3rd minute or so, so the Warriors had more
than enough time to make amends.

No problem, oh ok there was some lag on and off through out the
whole match for me but I did think it wasn't too bad after the
first 10 minutes. I wasn't sure if you were still having major
       lag issues or not though.
