Round 15: Storm Vs Manly

I am just hanging onto this last game. Very excited to be
playing against the storm for my last up regular season match.
It could be that this game determines if I make the finals or
not. With a few games still to be played from round 13 and 14 I
may in fact already be outside the 8 :o

Ok Benz. 8.30 EST it is. Looking forward to this game. Seems
like a year ago when I played the first game as Huddersfield
against the might of the Manly SeaEagles. Good one to finish the
season.

spanked my ass lol
Just waiting for the Mrs to go to bed. I expect to make the 8:30
time frame. Just hope she doesn't want to talk or anything :-X

Manly have defeated Melbourne 36-16. It was a tighter contest
than the score line suggests. Billy Slater carved Manly up all
night long running for unbeatable 220m for the match.
With the Storm up 12-6 at half time it was anyone's game. Billy
Slater scored an amazing try from a DCE midfield kick. He put on
a classy side step to beat Stewart to score a memorable try.
Defence was tight from both teams with Melbourne setting up camp
inside Manlys 20m line for what seemed like 20 minutes of the
first half. Likewise whenever Manly made a break down the other
side of the field Storm were too tough to crack.
Manly spread the ball out wide from the kick off at half time
and scored a long range try. Manly were really focused and
stuck to the coaches game plan. Ballin was injured for the Sea
Eagles and Norrie was hurt for Melbourne.
Great contest mate. Good luck for the finals. Melbourne will be
a force and I expect them to go far
