       Anyone planning on getting this?
$90 for the whole season basically, much cheaper alternative to
foxtel. Only concern would be the quality of the stream really.

Yeah I've been thinking about it all day actually. I don't have
and won't get Foxtel, but even watching a game at the pub will
cost me around 20-30 bucks. This might be pretty good. I've been
streaming games for ages, and the quality varies. However, the
stuff streamed from NRL.com is always good quality.

I heard about this from NRL.com earlier this week and have been
looking for the app. It isn't up on ipad yet :-\
I am also interested to find out the quality as well. I might
pick it up on Friday if the is positive feedback from Thursdays
       game.
If there are 6 live games a week then what game are we missing
out on? I wonder if it will be the channel 9 Sunday game as it
       is always delayed?
I have had foxtel for the past 2 years but got rid of it before
the finals last year. It is a huge expense just to watch the
NRL. I am excited by the potential of this app.

Channel 9 games are shown at the same time that they show it so
the six live games are all of the fox sports games and the one
live Friday game on 9 which will depend where you are so QLD
will get the QLD game live and NSW and others get the NSW game
and the Sunday 9 game will be delayed still. I guess in the
first 4 rounds we will get 7 live games because of Thursday
       night footy.
The other alternative is if you have Xbox you can get Foxtel on
Xbox which has updated it sport package to include Fox Sports 1,
2 and 3 so that would cost $50 a month. A bit more pricey but
better qualtiy for bigger screen sizes is the benefit of that.
