Round 15: ROOSTERS VS PANTHERS
By: SZaucy Date: March 2, 2013, 4:18 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
I know I am getting a bit ahead of the game here but Sane and I
had the opportunity to play this match on the same console
yesterday to avoid lag so we took it and played the match.
Team Line up was:
1. Michael Gordon
2. Josh Mansour
3. Michael Jennings
4. Brad Tighe
5. Etu Uaisele
6. Lachlan Coote

9. Kevin Kingston
10. Tim Grant
11. Luke Lewis (c)
12. Shane Shackelton
13. Cameron Ciraldo
14. Dayne Weston
15. Chris Armit
16. Clint Newton
17. Travis Burns
Injuries: Nathan Smith
The Panthers have defeated the Roosters 44 - 12
The Panthers have continued their hot streak on the run to the
finals with a third straight win over the bottom of the table
Roosters.
Both teams struggled early on to hold onto the ball with silly
errors but the first time the Panthers held onto the ball they
scored a try and gained the early momentum. The Roosters were in
with a shot for most of the first half but gave a way 5
penalties which hurt them badly.
The second half saw plenty of the big Roosters pack getting
tired and falling off tackles resulting in a one sided scoreline
by the end of the match. Both teams will be breathing a sigh of
relief after they escaped free of any injuries, this will prove
crucial for the Panthers who now have a do or die match to make
the top 8 against the unbeaten Bulldogs in their final game of
the regular season.
The Panthers coach remained optimistic about their chances of
making the top 8 "We really have to beat the Bulldogs and with
the way we are playing right now I think we have a great chance
of doing just that. The boys played well today once they got
past the early woes and put a good score on to help our for and
against."
The Bulldogs vs Panthers match will be played most likely in the
coming week.
Injuries: None.

Wow Panthers.
Sane, we will be having a bottom 8 finals series the same time
as the top 8 so not all is lost. You will have the opportunity
to redeem yourself and give the Roosters fans something to cheer
about.
Get in there and play a few CC games to get some form heading
into the finals. Maybe be selective of who you play against.
Look at last months CC ladder. I would avoid the top 4 guys
otherwise you are looking at a 60+ loss. Consider the close
games you've had this season and hit them up for a CC game.
